I just redeemed myself somewhat for not getting in any morning exercise. I walked 40 minutes at lunch. I'm still headed to the fitness center after work.

I've not started off today very good; I woke up at 5:30am and had to do schoolwork until just now, and now I have to get ready and go to school! I will atleast walk to school and back (30mins), and hopefully can find time this afternoon for some cardio...if not, then maybe tonight after dinner. Have a good day everyone!

Julia~
Great job choosing to do the DVD instead of giving up on exercise because of the weather!

I'm SO glad for the new food thread, thank you to the ladies who had the idea! I am REALLY trying to eat clean and new recipes for new veggies and fruits will help! I got on this "clean" kick about 2 weeks ago. For those of you who were here for the last challenge, you'll know that I was pretty much on a plateau (my weight was between 192 and 195 for the entire 12 weeks last go round). I started eating clean after the challenge (see my blog post about eating clean, it's a long one, but it was really, really something that was important to me) and low and behold, I'm at 189 today! I'm on the losing track again, my body fat % is still going down, I'm feeling SO much better - so clean eating is absolutely awesome!!

Hope you all have a terrific day! Even though my official weigh-in day isn't until tomorrow, I went ahead and updated my weigh-in post with my weight from this morning.
Girly! I am so glad you busted out of that plateau!

Quick HELLO to the Black Team from me!

I logged my first week's WI on the team thread...down 1 lb. TOM hit this week (grrr) so I'm going to assume that next week will be better!!! Working on getting all my water in today and thru the weekend to combat bloat!

Stay OP everybody and have a great weekend!

Julz-loved your blog! You are one brave lady and very inspiring! I relate to many things you said. You are really making GREAT progress, thank you for sharing your honesty with yourself!

I am in such a good mood this afternoon! I am sure it has something to do with the BEAUTIFUL spring day we are having. That and my baby seems to be feeling better today and I have been able to tolerate outside without my allergies flaring up (there is no wind/dust today) YIPEE

I did 60 min. rigorous house/yard work and a 30 min. walk to the elem. school pulling 2 kids in the wagon. I have been able to eat healthy foods today and I am not dreading the 7 hour road trip we will start tonight, nor am I dreading the infamous munchies that will be around because I CAN AND WILL take control! I will not be around this weekend, but still plan to get on and update my info for the exercise challenge.

HAPPY FRIDAY TO YOU ALL!! (she sings as she dances around the front room on her way outside to enjoy the sun)

Yuck, it's raining here again today. What was supposed to be a drizzle became a downpour about 2pm (but only for a few minutes). I finished up my exercises for the week... and I made the beach in NC. Next week I have two strength training special sessions (AMRAPs - as many reps as possible) as the end to Stage 1. I'll do those Mon/Wed, and then I'm likely going to take the week off as the book recommends. I'm not sure what I'm going to do with the cardio, as 90 mins 5 times a week is getting hard to maintain (as the outside work starts). I suspect I might cut it back a bit. I'll have to see how I feel. In the meantime someone should be able to pass me on the weekend. By Sunday night I'll be at $495 unless I swim....

Other than that there's nothing going on today. I've got some bread to bake in the morning and I'll have to do the housework I've been avoiding all week. I might try doing some laundry tonight so I'm not doing it as well tomorrow. It's hard to be upbeat with such lousy weather. Hope everyone else is having a much better day!

Sucks, doesn't it? The only thing I remind myself is that if it were just a few degrees colder it could be snow! They say (but who believes them) that it will at least be sunny by Sunday.

Every pound helps, and who knows, next week might be a stellar week for you.

What's for dinner tonight??

I believe I'm going to make some baked garlic tilapia with fresh green beans (meaning the non-canned kind... I LOVE when the green beans have just a little crunch to them...YUM) and a salad with balsalmic vinegarette. Yes, I must go get started on it, just talking about it makes me hungry.

On a side note, I watched Tom Cruise on Oprah today and I must say.... I don't feel as weirded out about him as I did 3 years ago when he was on her show. I say whichever publicist told him to do that show today should be given a raise. I think he may have redeemed himself a bit. I even found myself saying "awww" when he spoke about Kate and Suri. Go Tom!
