HURRAY Beth! Eggplant eating award for the day!

Only 45 minutes exercise today, I think I am going to have to catch the next beach. However, eating is VERY OP today and water intake good, I'm waiting till the weekend to record my first week's WI--hoping for big results!

Did ok today eating wise. Was working outside after work staining pavers so I didn't have time to cook. Had a turkey sub with light mayo and provolone cheese. I know it's not that bad but I should have only ate 1/2 of it instead of the whole 10 inches. Oh that sounds great! lol!! Don't read that sentence out of context
Did talk myself into getting on the treadmill at 7:50 though and got in 55 mins of workout time.

I did okay today.. Didn't overeat or anything. I did bring left over "lunch" to work for dinner, but some of my co-workers were ordering Thai..so I gave in and ordered Pad Thai. Sniff Snif.. BUT BUT BUT I ate not even half cup and put it away. I'm already satisfied. =)
Well, as far as exercise, I had to go to the post office before picking up my daughter so didn't have enough time to go to the gym. However, I got to do the all exercise in 10 minute solutions dvd..so that was 50 minute workout. It was my first time doing them and wow, I can def feel it in my arms. =)
I will stop by later to see what everyone is upto as I got about 7 more hours to go at work.

Hey Tara-- Just wanted to say hi, since you have to work while we all leave work.

Thai-yum, my downfall. My tip is to order Salad rolls, the kind with lettuce and veggies and a 'protein' in a rice sheet wrapper! Great way to "stretch" Thai food orders for low calories, that is if you get the shrimp or tofu they are relatively low-cal. Skip the pork. Good for you for only eating a little of that Pad Thai....! Now don't eat more tonight, right? Just that nice, yummy lunch you packed...

GO BLACK!!!

maryshady: I don't think you did bad by eating the whole sub, if you check the Subway website, theirs isn't too bad. And you worked your butt off! So good job.

Tara: I am soooooooo impressed that you only ate not even half a cup. There is no way ever that I could do that. I love thai food, it's one of my favorites. I'm thinking about getting some of those tofu shirataki noodles and trying to make some pad thai out of them. I can't do without my thai food!

I can't believe how much people are exercising. It's crazy! (great but crazy) I am not pulling in the big numbers for exercise, but please know that I am doing the best I can...I haven't been a big exerciser in years. I know I've lost weight though, but I don't count my weight until Saturdays.

Today was good for me, I felt like I ate all day but I still stayed below my calorie max. I did the strength training workout that my hubby made up for me and I did the stationary bike. Tomorrow will be better because I will be walking to school. Good night everyone!

Yummy, pad thai . I'm so impressed with your will-power Tara!

I haven't been in here much and I'm going out of town for the weekend. I'll try to get in here on some computer somewhere. You are all doing great!

Black team ninjas run off to swipe all the blue teams exercise equipment and badges and replace them with large bowls of chips and dip

Hey all - Julz set up a new thread called Black Team Healthy Eating on the Beach. (Thanks Julz ) We've had some great recipes and ideas posted so far - things I would have never thought to try and some great answers to people's general questions too. Feel free to continue posting in the new thread so we have an easier place to go back and find stuff if we want it.

I didn't go through all the posts in this thread but I thought someone said something about doing mushrooms next? If anyone remembers - please post there. Thanks!

I just wanted to say that I am just as impressed with the recipes as I am with the exercise so far. Black Team is definitely out to strut their stuff

My goodness ladies...I have been out of the loop a few days and let's just say I have tons of reading to do. I also need to get started on the exercise and veggie challenge. Yesterday, weight in was horrible and I feel as though I let everyone down. This week will be a lot better though. Off to read.

Okay, I kinda fell off the wagon for a few days- I was just so busy I didn't have time to think about what I was eating or exercising- I felt like crap last night for it, So I am going to get in 45 minutes of step, a nice long walk, and some yoga and get my butt back in gear--

Quick check in...remember I will be around a lot less and fall way behind on weekends. You all have your chance to catch me on exercise because when hubby popped up last night I didn't finish mine so my minutes are low for yesterday. Weekends are what I struggle with when it comes to food. We have a ton to do, plus I jsut want to cuddle and spend family time while he is here, making it hard to get my goals met. But I have 5 days OP and feel so good, I am determined to make it

OKay, off to do Jillian workout because we are going to Allie's field day at the school at 9, so I made hubby drive them to school so I could get it in and get showered in time.

Have a great, OP day everyone...not sure if I will amke it back in here today or not, but I will sure try.
