Good afternoon buddies,

Just wanted to check in with you all because I've been MIA this week. LIfe is hectic as usual but I have an unusual amount of school work to do (graduate work not work work). I am doing my apprenticeship for my special ed. licensure so that is ALOT of paper work and i'm taking a speech and language course (a shortened version of the 16 week course in 8 weeks). So we have the same amount of work and projects, etc. to do than the regular 16 week course in less time. So it has kept me busy busy busy.

I am still doing very well...OP for 96 days in a row. 100 days is coming up and i'm going to reward myself with something, not sure what yet, but something. It's a pretty great NSV.

I took a peek at the results thread and we were so close to beating that blue team. This week we'll do it. Make this last week count. I have my weigh in tomorrow and I'll be going to cardio kickboxing tonight. I've taken a peek at the scale this morning and it looks like i'm about 2lbs down this week. HOpe it stays that way!

Good luck to everybody and keep on working hard. I hope we are all together for the next competition....this RED team ROCKS!!! XOXO

Good Afternoon All,

Just a quick hello. Sorry I missed yesterday but I am having trouble with my laptop at home and work has really gotten busy for me lately. I am on Day 5 OP. It is a bit easier now then when I started. I hope the weekend goes well when I am in a different routine. I also have a party to attend Saturday night. Although my weight hasn't moved much, it is down a little. I am sure a lot will depend on this weekend if I want to record a loss on Monday.

Tina-Sounds like your meeting went okay this week. Those childhood memories can be unpleasant maybe they are better left forgotten. I am so happy with my own little family now I don't dwell much on the mistakes my parents made. I also keep my expectations low when it comes to my brothers so that keeps me on a even keel. (to forgive is divine!) Congratulations on the 4 successfully completed OP days.

Karen-WooHoo! Your neck is shrinking-awesome. Plus weight loss on the scale as well. I guess there must be something to this OP thing.

Hey girls, sorry I've been such a lurker this week. I usually try to check in nightly but have actually been keeping myself busy during the nights this week...
Monday night was lap swimming
Tuesday had a migraine and fell asleep early
Wednesday was C25K training and lap swimming
Thursday night was boot camp (can read about it on my MPMU page by clicking the pick in my signature).
Tonight once hubby gets home I will be going to do lap swimming again.
Tomorrow morning is a 7am training session with my friend at her gym.

I am definitely feeling sore in my core from last nights workout. I'm hoping the pool will help the pain some!

I hope everyone has had a great week so far and hope that everyone has a great weekend.

Mel, I'm thinking of you guys!

Evening Red Team!!!
Was having a blah day, the weather was rainy and grey, dh took the boys to an indoor soccer game this evening, I went downstairs and did my 4 mile watp tape and feel soooooo much better!! Got my Jillian dvd and Bob book yesterday. Loving Bob, just reading his words is inspiring. Will give Jillian's dvd a go in the a.m. It's 3 levels, 20 minutes each. Level one is 3 sets of 3 minutes strength, 2 minutes cardio and 1 minute abs, plus the warm up and cool down. I need to find a really good sports bra since she loves to do the jumping jacks and jump rope! I assume I'm suppose to do it everyday and work up to Level 3. So that's my plan.

Melissa73~ that is so awesome that you're almost at 100 days OP!!! You rock girl!!!!

Tina~ I watched Supersize Me and that turned me off of fast food. Course that guy went to the extreme, but still it was food for thought, so to speak. Dh and the boys will get it once in a while, I have no desire for it!
WTG being on day 5!!!

Karen~ WTG to you too on day 5!!!

Andi~ you're having an awesome week!! Keep up the great workouts!!

MST~ on tomorrow's WI, I'm sure you'll do fine!!

Hun~ hope you're feeling better and your airbourne worked.

Well I'm off to get a relaxing shower and watch one of the 3 Heath Ledger movies I have before the guys get back. Heath would have been 29 today.

Hey everyone! I've been out of town the last couple weeks with no internet! ACK- but I survived. But *not* weight-wise...double ACK!! I have not read up yet to catch up- I've feeling very bad about myself that here it is the end of the challenge and my net loss is not going to be much at all. how many "rock bottom" moments does one need anyway?!
I'm gearing up to get back into it yet again...but like I said, frustrated with myself.
I'll be back after catching up. Hope you are all doing great!

Hi all. I ended up having to weigh in last night - I realized I made a commitment to do something this AM. It wasn't too bad, I was down 2 lbs. I confessed the one ultra light beer, which probably voids my contract, but oh well - I believe in honesty! I am SO close to Onederland I can TASTE it!

Good morning ladies,

Just wanted to do a quick post. I just got back from weigh in. Lost another 2.4lbs this week. I'm sooo excited, this weigh in made my total loss for TBL challenge 35lbs! WOOHOO. I've also lost 25.5 inches in my measurements. All of this in 12 weeks. I"m amazed and so proud of my hard work. It really did pay off!! I can't wait for the next one to start! Go Red Team!!

Congrats Melissa & MsTeacher!

I am holding at 193 so that makes only 7 pounds lost during this challenge. A nice wake up for me to see how badly I fluctuate. Glad there is actually a loss for all that time but disappointed in myself that I didn't try harder. Can't wait for the next challenge.

Good Afternoon Red Team Mates,

Today was an hour of strength training and an hour of Zumba at the Y. I had lunch at Panda Express-a Panda bowl with veggies instead of rice or noodles. I feel good. Today is Day 6 OP. I am really excited that I haven’t screwed up for five entire days. Granted, my OP is pretty generous but believe me it is an improvement over my regular eating pattern—I mean my old eating pattern.

I have really enjoyed this challenge. You have all been so helpful. I am so glad I lost that 6 pound Christmas present I gave myself and more important I think maybe I might be turning the corner about controlling my eating.

Karen-How are you doing with your plan today? Won’t it be great to record a loss on Monday?

Melissa- 35 lbs and all those days OP. You are amazing!

Andi-You are quite the athlete. Way to go!

Cats-How is the Jillian DVD going? The Bob book sounds interesting.

Emily-Don’t be sad, you do have a loss. The next challenge will be the one!

MS-You are doing so well. Congrats on the most recent 2 pound loss. Yeah onederland being right around the corner.

Cakses-Seven pounds is still good. I am looking forward to the next challenge also.

Tina-It is a beautiful day here too, although it’s raining for the third day in the row! After last years drought we are all happy to see the rain. Keep it coming. Thanks for asking about my progress. I am still OP. I really want to post a lost this Monday, hopefully more then the 1.5 pounds I gained back last week. In any case I am really glad to be making some progress making good food decisions. It is such a relief compared to beating myself up over eating too much.

Well, I haven't done great today but still OP. I haven't eaten much at all and I know that's not good. I also skipped my planned workouts due to the fact that I emptied all of the furniture out of my bedroom and ripped up the carpet. I'm pretty sore and I'm sure that I'll be more sore tomorrow. Our city has a bi-annual city wide clean up where they pick up your oversized stuff like carpet and take it to the dump for you. I wanted to get it done before that next week. I'll also be painting in the next few weeks. I'm worn out so I'm going to go. Everyone have a great day tomorrow!

Hope everyone is having a good weekend...

I had sorta a crazy day. I went for an hour swim. I walked to the pool both ways which is just about 4 miles. A few hours later I took the bike out for it's first real ride (did one before just around the 'hood) I didn't have a watch or a bike computer yet... and I didn't bring water/food because I was only planning on an hour ride. Well I over-did it but I didn't know by how much... I got home and was exhausted. I looked it up on the computer and I went about 32 miles?! Holy-CRAP no wonder why I'm spent.

Good thing tomorrow is a rest day.

Needless to say I ate what I wanted for dinner and didn't worry about it.
