Yes the Red featherweights deserve props!

I'm not going to say it's easy to lose weight at any weight but when you only have a bit left to lose it's stubborn and takes such patience w/o the instant gratification... We've all done so well.

While it's cool to have lost 20, 30, 40... whatever... even 5, 10 is such a thing to celebrate and most everyone have put in the same kind of effort we're just in different stages.

Keep kickin' *** girls.

Sorry I'm not up for the fun and games, lord knows I could use it. But today has been a very very bad day. I do hope everyone is doing great!
Vanetta is in Seattle I believe and I think we have a newbie or two from there as well. Melissa, I am so sorry this is happening. I keep praying and hoping he gets better then I see this and it breaks my heart for him, and you and the girls. Maybe @ the hospital in Seattle, he'll finally get some relief and do better. I love you gf! hang in there.

hey ladies! Oh man I tell ya, today is going to be a long long day! I have one whiny little girl today, and Zachary is being a little stinker and taking toys away from the other kids, no matter what toy it is. The other little boy is throwing toys. ARGGGG I am having such a hard time adjusting to this darn schedule I tell ya. By the time I get to bed, I am out in like 30 seconds. To top that off, my DH has only one thing on his mind, and I just don't have the energy....lol ok, maybe TMI, sorry. And I have a headache already to top it all off. Ok, enough of my whining....

Scale shows I am down a lb since my last wi, hoping to make that a little bit more before I wi again. I have switched from Saturdays to Mondays to try and keep me on track over the weekends. Going to be hard cause I think DH wants to take me out to dinner this weekend for my birthday. We'll see.

Melissa~ You and your husband are in my thoughts and prayers.
Andi~ those pics are so awesome!!!

Ok well I hope everyone has a great day!

Kari - I'm glad the scale is being good to ya! I really don't want these 2 weeks between challenges be an excuse I give myself to not try as hard. I haven't been exercising this week like I did during the challenge. I think it's a weather-related funk. My weight was only up 1/4 pound today, but I have a girls' weekend planned so that could change by Monday. I'm going to give it my all to stay as close to on plan as possible.

Good afternoon ladies~ Just wanted to pop in and say hello today...HELLO!LOL! Today is day 11 OP for me. Last night was my OA meeting and it went really well. I even led the meeting last night, which was kinda cool. Mattie and Kyle still have pretty nasty coughs. It's really bad in the morning and before bed, but during the day they barely cough at all, weird! I made it to the gym yesterday for the first time in a few weeks. It felt good to workout there again. I have to say I really do love the gym. It's just when the weather is crappy I don't want to leave my house to get to the gym!LOL! I'm going again tonight for more cardio and then lower body work. I've got my
Mp3 charging up. My arms are sore from last night....feels good though So that is about all that is up with me. I'm just trying to keep up the momentum until the next challenge begins

Karen- I to don't want to de-rail. We worked so hard to get back on track these last few weeks, so let's give it are all to stay here Have fun on your girls weekend...I could use one of those right about now

Melissa- I continue to pray for you and your family. I'm not sure if there is anything, but if I can do anything to help you please don't hesitate to ask. (((HUGS))))

Kari- Oh Lord I would be ready to murder my husband if he thought he was going to get frisky after a day like that!LOL! I hope tomorrow is a bit calmer for you.

Counting- Thank you so much for the shout out! Every single person I've chatted with on this team has inspired me in some way. I couldn't of picked a better team

Muse- Having lost 60 something pounds and wanting to loose about 10-12 more I have to say the last of this weight is the hardest weight to loose for me. I've been trying to loose this for well over a year. I always wonder why the heck can't I loose 10 lbs when I've lost so much already. I don't know if I'm scared to let myself reach goal for fear when I reach it won't be enough, or if I just got comfortable...whatever it is I vow to reach my goal by the time the next challenge is over You are such an inspiration though...I don't know many people who have lost 100 lbs...your doing FANTASTIC!

Have a great day ladies~

Tina – I’m so glad that you’re still enjoying your OA meetings and that you’ve gotten over the (TOM related) funk you were in. It’s so difficult when you’re going through a rough patch, but I can tell from your recent posts that you are back to being in control and at peace. It’s good to see. I don’t want to de-rail either. I weighed today just out of curiosity and to compare on Monday how I did over the weekend. I was down one pound from my weigh in on Monday which makes me happy and I hope that will keep me on track this weekend. I’m not going to stress out about being perfectly on plan, but hope to stay close. I, too, am feeling at peace and in control lately. It’s a nice feeling. I totally agree with Muse that the closer you are to goal, the harder it gets. Try to not let it get you frustrated. You may just need to mentally focus on the staying in control and being healthy aspect of this and let the weight take care of itself. You’ve accomplished so much already. I’ve heard so many people talk about getting close to goal and rather than try too hard, they just focus on living healthy and then the weight just miraculously drops off. I wish that for you.

Melissa73 – I’ve missed seeing you around. You did wonderfully during the challenge too and deserve props.

Emily – this is my year, too! Congrats on day 4 OP! It seems the more days I have OP, the easier it gets. Good luck on upping the exercise!

Hun – as always, still in my prayers!

Hello to all of my other RED teamies! Have a great weekend!

Thought I would pop in and say hello. Hope everyone has a wonderful weekend. We will be off to work the food kitchen again this weekend since we can't go to the zoo for rain. Going to play a little euchre and then pass out food. Is going to be a great weekend.

Sorry girls, had a eventful couple of days. They pulled dh off the sedation meds too soon and he went through withdrawls. Thursday and Friday he was having terrible hallucinations. My inlaws took my girls on Friday and Saturday nights so I was able to spend the whole weekend at the hospital with him. He's doing alot better mentally, awake most of the day with bouts of fatigue. The gastroenteroligist said he will be in the hospital several more weeks. Tomorrow is another CT scan to see how things are going. Keep your fingers crossed, I could use some good news!!
