Hi all~
Sorry I've not been around. I've just been in a funky mood, and trying to get things done around here, plus working. I've missed you ladies!!! I hope everyone is doing well. I have a lot of catching up to do.
Well I didn't renew my WW membership, I've been doing it a year and the most I've lost is a total of 12 lbs. When I've followed the program to a T and worked out and did everythign I was suppose to I'd either not lose or actually gain weight. I'm just really frustrated. So reading Bob's book, I'm going to follow TBL workouts, plus do my own outside workouts, kinda like they do on the shows. Maybe that'll finally do something to break the barrier. I'll still journal my food and probably count points, maybe even go the counting calories route again. Then again, maybe I think about all this too much and sabotage myself??? Anyway I can't wait for the new challenge to start.
Well my boys are calling me, they want to play a board game I'll catch up either later tonight or in the a.m.

Hey ladies! Well Mel that is great news about DH I hope he comes home soon and all goes well! I can't wait for the new challenge to start! I am journaling again and I am going to do it this time! Hope all is well with everyone else! I stop watching kids July 11th and that can't come quick enough! Sent 2 of them home today because I think the youngest one has chicken pox! ICK. I've never had 'em. My 2 sisters did but I never got them, the Dr's think I might have a natural immunity, I sure hope so!

Cathy...I dont think I'm gonna renew my WW membership either. I'm paid up until 5/14 but I think that might be the end of it. I love the meetings, I love the group but I just cant afford it, and I know I can do the plan on my own. the other thing is I'm just not losing a whole heck of anything on the plan. 3 months in and I was only at 10 lbs. Dont get me wrong 10 lbs is fantastic but still! I'm going to be doing Bob's book too!! I'm thinking a bunch of us will be doing it at the same time so we'll have lots to discuss!

Kari...oh Chicken pox!!! Oye! I had my girls vaccinated for that so we never had to deal with them, but I remember having them as a kid! I hope all the bugs went home with the kids! LOL!

Dh came home today. Was a big ol stressor because of all his meds and us not having insurance or any income coming in. Still just disgusts me that an American, living in America cant get the care or help we need. Its not like I want to live on welfare and not have a job, we just need some help to get us through this crisis till dh can get back to work and I graduate and get a job. This too shall make me stronger right? LOL!

I hope everyone is having a wonderful start to the week, cant wait to see some sunshine! What happened to spring?

Hi ladies! Sorry I've been MIA - it's been an absolutely crazy couple of weeks. Work is still insane and to top it all off my father is in the hospital. So between work and visiting hours and the drives back and forth, I haven't had any time to do anything. Even with all of this going on I'm still losing little bits here and there. Just trying to stay on track.

For the Just Beachy Challenge, were there any PM's sent acknowledging participation? I signed up in the thread, but didn't hear anything back - so I posted my weight this morning anyway. Hope that I can play again.

Anyway hope everyone else is doing ok - hugs to you all

Well only down 1lb this week, but considering my week... it's all good.

Scale teased me this morning. I have to get on like 5 times because it's never the same but the first one said 199. First time I've even seen a glimpse of the 1! However the 4 times after that it said 200, so that's what I'm going with this week.

Have a good week the few of you who are still hanging out here.

Hey Red Teamies!!!!

Ugh, I have been away from here for entirely too long! My computer decided to do some major rebeling and I think we have finally fixed it. I pray! I have missed you all terribly!!!!

So! I got to meet Bob!!!!! He was doing a book signing here and lemme tell you girls, what an extraordinary man he is. He is kind, insightful, funny and absolutely GORGEOUS in real life! LOL The good humor and emotional man you see on t.v. is exactly the same man he is standing before you. He is truly amazing. I got a picture with him, look for it to be posted shortly. It really was a dream come true, I have dreamt about getting the chance to meet him and I finally did. However, the time was not nearly quality for sure, but I understand there are tons of people who want a piece of him. Looking forward to going thru his book and finally learning what I should have years ago about myself!

I don't have time to do personals, on my way out to grocery shop, but had to give a shout out to Muse........ I HAVE to tell you, you truly inspire with your weight loss. You're AMAZING!!!!

I am looking forward to the new challenge starting soon and I hope that you all will be joining us on another adventure! Some of us may come in a little banged up, a little worse for wear, and others have truly been able to stick it out between challenges and keep up the great work, but we show our strength in numbers and by our motivation and support for eachother!! Love you's!

Have an awesome day ladies!

That's funny! I'm glad I'm not the only one that does that. Yesterday, I hopped on the scale and the first time it showed a 5 pound gain.I was not happy and when I pounced on it the second time (I was neither happy nor gentle), I heard a loud spring sound and my weight was up 55 more pounds. It is now registering 40 pounds when no one is on it so I'm getting a new scale this evening!

Work's been crazy busy lately. I will try to stop back by when I have more time for a proper update. After a few less than stellar weeks, I am only up 1/2 pound from the end of last challenge which I am dealing with. I was hoping to be down lower but expecting to be up quite a bit more so I'll take it.

UGHHHH my weight is up/down/up/down.....I hate that!

DS was sent home from school yesterday for throwing up and I was so bored I know I ate too much. Today I am eating much lighter to make up for it and since I only got in 20 minutes of running this morning, I will also be walking tonight after dinner. Well I am off to work - it's been 24 hours now w/o throwing up and they need me at work so I am going back in!

Glad you are feeling better ( you or your son ). Sometimes we just have to get back to paying a bit more attention to what we are doing.

Sugar
Nice to see you around again. Glad you got to meet Bob, sounds like it was great fun for you.

Ideal
I hate to have to weigh in. I do it every two weeks just to keep track but I pay attention more to inches lost and how my clothes fit. I think those give a better judge of how we are doing on this journey.

Hun
Glad the hubby is home. You have to feel so much better now.

Good morning ladies! Well today is going to be day 3 OP! I didn't make great choices yesterday, but I stayed within my points, so I am happy about that. Got on the scale this morning and I am down 2 lbs since yesterday. WAHOOOO Hopefully it sticks until Monday. Didn't get any schoolwork done yesterday. It was a crazy busy day yesterday. Hoping it'll be less crazy today.
