I totally agree. Seeing the pounds go down on the scale is great. Finding my clothes are to big is wonderful. Loving myself, seeing the changes in my body, being proud of the accomplishments I have made is very very important. The scale and smaller clothes only do so much. I had to really start being proud of my self. This hasn't happened over night and no one else did it for me. Yes, I have had lots of encouragement from the hubby and all the wonderful people here. God has been with me each step of the way BUT even God only helps those that help them selfs. I am the one that doesn't put food into my mouth. I am the one that makes myself exercise when I really don't feel like it. I think we all forget to blow our own horn enough. ATTITUDE ladies goes along way to getting to where we want to be.

Cathy
Sometimes we just have to take it easy. I am not doing all the miles I was doing. It was just beating up my knees. I am taking a couple of days off from the walking and going to do the walking this weekend when I usually don't exercise. My knees need the rest. We have to take care of our selfs. We are on this journey for the long haul not just for today. I can't wait for the challenge to get started either lol.

Jen
I really does help me to chat with everyone. I love to see how people are doing and to join in on the cover stations. We will get this challenge going and all of us can get back to chatting a lot and getting in shape together

Montana is so beautiful. I have loved just sitting and looking at the scenery every time I have been there. Haven't been there for years and years but I bet the scenery still takes a persons breath away. Hey come to Ohio, we have cows and corn to look at lol.

Diva
Ohhhh we are the pink hula hoop sisters lol. Not ready to use a weighted one I would kill my shins. I can do the hoop pretty good as long as the kids aren't standing there laughing at me. I have to keep killing my son because he gets the darn camera and takes video and as I chase him around the house he is yelling he is going to put the video on his my space. That child really has to die lol.

Tina – Congrats on day 25 of OP! I’ve started over many times since we first started the OP challenge. I keep picking myself back up….so that’s something!

Melissa – Good luck on the job search. Any employer would be lucky to have you! Enjoy the birthday party and warmer weather!

Kari – I’ve never been good at journaling. I’m glad you’ve been able to use that to keep on plan. I was always reluctant to join a group here on 3FC because my life’s so boring I was afraid I wouldn’t have any valuable input and it was to the point that I couldn’t even journal because I found what I had to say to myself boring! I’ve tried to take the approach that 3FC is my journal that just happens to talk back to me!!

Muse – thanks so much for the Jari Love input. I will probably get the Ripped to the Core or Slim and Lean. I have another DVD that goes up and down a lot like the Ripped 1000 does, and I don’t care for that either. It seems to take me longer to get up than it does the in shape people on the DVDs.

Counting – Congrats on the dropping weight! I can’t keep a garden alive which is a shame because it would be a money saver to be able to grow some of the summer must-have veggies. I could have a whole garden of red peppers and never waste a single one!

Rennie – When I’m sitting next to you in heaven, I’ll be eating the brownies!!

Diva – Enjoy your pink hula hoop. Why doesn’t it surprise me one bit that you got a pink one? Congrats on the non-scale victories. They are so exciting! I’ve been constantly pulling up all of my Capri pants this week – time to go shopping I guess!

Jen – We’re lucky to have you back! I’m in the recommitting stage, too. Not posting as much has had a negative effect on me also. I’m ready to get back into the official swing of things!

Cathy – It’s better to take it easy until you heal than to make an injury worse. I hope your knee gets to feeling better soon!

LOL Rennie, my family is from Wisconsin so I know all about those cows and corn. And then we lived in Phoenix for almost 10 years and it was always such a laugh to listen to Arizonans talking about their "mountains" I never appreciated how great we've got it here in western MT until I got older, now I cant imagine not looking out the window and seeing what I see.

Karen...brownies huh...can you believe there was a time when I hated brownies, hated the taste. I think if we are visiting heaven my vice is gonna be chicken chow mein! LOL!

Okay Muse I just saw your numbers!! Can you smell onederland! OMG!! You are so amazing! And over 100 lbs gone! Girl, it doesnt get more inspirational than you!! Excellent job!

Tomorrow morning I'm headed back to WW for the first time since dh's was hospitalized. So, it'll truly be my starting "recommitment" weight. For whatever reason I'm not even worried about what the scale is gonna say. Could the tides be turning?

I took my dd to the circus tonight, we had a great time but ate alot of crap! Now my tummy is screaming at me! When am i gonna learn not to do that?

Hi ladies,

I hope you are all doing well. I have been so busy, and on vacation all this week. Sorry I've been MIA. I can't wait until the teams are posted and another competition is under way. I hope i'm still on the red team! Well I don't have time for personals because I am going to Boston for the day with DBF and our 3 boys. Just wanted to say hello and let everyone know that i'm doing well. Enjoy your weekend! XOXO

I think it's beautiful how you can appreciate the little things in life even after this past month from **** for you. You truly inspire me girlfriend, to not only stay on track as far as my healthy lifestyle, but also to be a better person.

Muse,
I tell ya girly, you are truly a superstar! when I came into this forum I thought I smelled ONEderland, then I popped in the RED thread, and there it was, you are on the brink!!!! YAY!!!

Rennie, Mel, & Karen

Melissa if you arent on red I'll protest! LOL!

Diva...thanks for the compliments my friend. Time has gotten me to this place. My dh recently asked me what I want out of life and I said...to be a good person. And thats really the case, that wasnt so 10 years ago, I was too focused on material things.

Now its so beautiful outside, the sun is shining and I'm headed out to enjoy every minute of it! My dh's grandmother is having her 90th birthday party today! Have a wonderful weekend everyone and I'll see you on the new Red team thread tomorrow!!!

Hi all, hope you are having an OP day I'm also hoping our red team stays intact for the next challenge. I know Chellez will need to tweak the lists to keep the starting weights equal. I THINK there are enough people around my weight that Tina and I will be able to stay on RED. Got my fingers crossed!

I got my closets cleaned and I'm feeling good about getting rid of a lot of coats that don't fit DH and I any more. I'm still in a de-clutter and simplify zone that is serving me well right now I'm hoping I can keep it up for another couple weeks until all the closets, drawers, and cabinets have been purged!

Looking forward to the challenge starting, here's to a strong RED week

Mel - Yeah I'm hanging on that edge but I haven't had a good week and now it's pre-tom so I'm back at 202 this morning. Hopefully in the next week or two I'll get there though. Thanks for noticing!
