Boy, we’re all falling apart, aren’t we?

Diva – I hope your hip gets to feeling better.

Danielle – I’m glad you’re getting to feel better. I’ve had a bladder (or kidney) infection once and it was absolutely miserable! I was in mandatory training out of town and thought I was going to die trying to get through my 2 day meeting. I haven’t ever done yoga but I can sure fit into the klutzy part of your movement!

Cathy – Hi!

MS Teacher – Congrats on the 3 pounds this week!

Melissa (Hun) - I hope your hubby can get some relief soon. I know what you mean about encouraging others about their struggles (slow weight loss, etc) and then having it hit you in the face. I was up another half pound. I believe I have found a new bumper number, and it’s beginning to annoy me! I hope your arm gets to feeling better soon. I’m laughing about your coffee cup incident but only because it’s something I can see myself doing (except I’d probably end up with coffee all over my tush!)

Yello – Congrats on the 60 pound milestone! I hope you can recover quickly from your sinus infection. And good luck on finding an exercise class you can enjoy!

Deb – It always seems that the longer my to-do list is, the shorter my get-up-and-go is! Why is that? Just remember that your less than desirable eating is in the past. Take that into account when you step on the scale and don’t let it get you too down. You may find that healthy eating for the remainder of the week will help it not show on the scale. If it does just remind yourself that it was a small blip and you’re back on the right track!

Tina – I hear you on struggling to get back on track. I’m feeling the same way. If the scale is going to cause you undue stress and possibly sabotage your resolve to get back on track, then I say skip it. Don’t worry about using the freebie. That’s what it’s there for!

Cat – I’m glad you’re going to be getting off early enough to meet with your trainer this week. I used to work in a hospital and that cafeteria food was not good for my figure. Of course, most of that can be attributed to my choices, but even making the healthiest choices aren’t always great.

Utah – congrats on getting the 3 miles in. Sunburns are so painful. I hope yours isn’t so painful or gets to feeling better soon.

Kari - I'm glad you're not feeling too stressed with the ex around and that your son is feeling better. I think it's the Red team's TOM week. We're all struggling with it!

Well, I'm up another half pound this week. I've been within the same 2 pounds for the past 6 or 7 weeks and it's beginning to tick me off! Ticked off at me is more like it. I did good for 4 or 5 days and then had 2 days of unplanned eating and it's caught up to me. I had terrible cramps for 2 days and didn't exercise either day. It's been months since I've gone 2 days in a row (or in a week for that matter) where I haven't exercised. I exercised for 90 minutes yesterday and am on track to do that today also to make up some of the missed exercise the 2 days before. I got my TurboJam DVD in the mail on Saturday and did the Learn and Burn yesterday. I'm a little sore but I'm not sure if it was from that or from the strength training DVD I did later in the day. I really tried to focus on my muscles while doing it and noticed that it was more intense that it has been.

My nephew's party was on Saturday. I ate lunch with them, and we did not (and don't usually) have anything healthy (by my standards) when I eat there. I did have some cake and ice cream and was too weak with TOM cravings to resist the second helping. I stopped at a drive thru on my way home. I can't even remember the last time I had fast food. I really think it was the first french fries I've had in 3 months. They weren't as good as I remember, either.

I was all prepped to get back on the eating healthy bandwagon yesterday, but a friend of mine invited me out to lunch with her family yesterday. They treated and since my healthier option was more expensive, I gave in to the unhealthy option. Just an excuse to eat poorly?.....probably. I'm back on track and today is day 1 POP for me. I'm determined that nothing is going to derail me today.

We're having severe weather here. They keep interrupting my radio station with severe thunderstorm and tornado warnings. So far the tornado warnings are not headed in my direction. Let's hope they stay that way. The warnings are in my sister's direction, but it doesn't sound like any have touched down yet (or even formed - just conditions that make it highly possible).

Take care and everyone have a great Monday!!

Hola Red team~
I'm not feeling well this morning either. I know TOM is coming but this is a bit different. Anyway not going to WW, I weighed in on my scale, I'm down a pound from last week. I'm hoping doing the biggest loser dvds will kick start my body into dropping weight. I'm so tired of it staying at this weight.
The boys are on spring break this week, so I want to hit a zoo or two and get some good outdoor walking in. Now let's hope the weather cooperates! lol

Melissa~ hope your dh feels better soon!!

I'll be back later, going to go get a shower and see if that makes me feel better.

Morning everyone. Well luckily my water weight seemed to go woosh (I was up quite a bit mid week) and I managed to pull off a decent 2lb loss, so I'm quite happy.

Today I'm going for an hour swim, then I have some work to catch up on. Hope everyone has a great weigh in!

Sorry about the few pound ping pong ksk.

Karen-I am in the same boat with fighting the same few pounds over and over. I am at a definite set point and really have to watch everything I eat to get and stay below even by just a few pounds. Anyway, lets see how many days we can eat OP. I don't think I have had more then one day in a row eating right. Pitiful, huh?! So my goal right now is to go 3 days.

Good afternoon ladies! Well today I vowed to stay OP, and so far so good. I'm so ticked off at myself though...I can't believe I let myself slip yet again. I don't mean for this to sound like an excuse, but I'm really beginning to see a pattern with when my eating goes bad. It's right before my period, and it lasts until my period starts. Once my period starts it's like a switch turns off and I eat normal again. I've always had really bad PMS, and I've tried different things for it, but nothing seems to work for me. Like I said though I woke up today knowing that something has to change. So I'm not going to lie and say it's easy, but so far I've kept my food in check. Also, today regular workouts are back. I didn't totally slack off with my workouts, but they have been nothing like they were. Over the weekend I went to a used book sale and bought a bunch of books, so those should keep me busy for the summer I love to read, and recently started to venture out into some unknown authors that I've really liked. Today the kids all went back to school, and I have to say as much as I enjoyed break I was ready for them to get the heck out of here Our play was really nice though, and they seemed to have enjoyed their break.

Muse- Congrats on the 2lb loss

Tera- Do ya mind if I join in the challenge with you and Karen? Today is day 1 of OP eating for me also We can do it~

Cat- Sorry to hear your not feeling well Do you guys go to the Michigian City Zoo? I love that zoo...the animals are so close and the landscape is beautiful

Karen- We can do this...today is our day 1! We're having some pretty bad weather here also, although I have to say I love a good thunder storm every now and then

Kari- I hear ya, I even know before I put it into my mouth I shouldn't be, but still it seems to find it's way there. TOM doesn't help at all though! We can do this...one day at a time

Terapet, Tina and Kari - You're on. To start small, I will make my mini-goal 3 days POP. For a "long(er)" term goal I am going to say 7 days POP to get us through the end of this challenge.

Anyone else who has been struggling to stay on/get back on track, feel free to join us. The more the merrier!

My gosh do we all have our DOT at the same time lol. Mine started today.

Cathy
I love the zoo. We are planning on going to the zoo in the next couple of weeks for our anniversary that is if the weather permits.

Just letting everyone know I am alive. I have been getting a bunch of spring cleaning done which included taking down drapes and getting up warm weather curtains. While that isn't hard work it sure does take a long time to do.

Chat later.
