Melissa - so last weigh in you counted how many of us lost 1.6 pounds. I'd be curious how many of us are TOM this week!

I am going through the Beck Diet Solution and today is the day that my "homework" is to skip a meal to practice hunger tolerance. You are supposed to record every hour how you feel on a scale of 1 - 10. I have cramps so bad than I don't even notice being hungry. I'm either very good at the hunger tolerance or it was the wrong day to do it!

I'll try to check back in later this weekend. If I don't get a chance, have a great weekend everyone!

LOL Karen I think its an epidemic on the Red team! Maybe everyone can mark next to their weigh in with a big dot! LOL! I hope those cramps subside soon!

Hi Everyone! Just checking in. I'm sick again. I can't believe it. I've had a horrible headache since last night and ibuprofen doesn't seem to touch it.

The good news is that the last two days, my scale has said I'm down more than 1 lb. WI is officially tomorrow, so I hope the numbers will be good.

I'm not watching the Super Bowl or having a party so it's just another weekend for me. I hope you all have a great Super Bowl weekend and stay OP or at least close to OP .

Sorry to hear you aren't feeling well again. Seems to be something going around that we think we have gotten rid of and it is back again. I am not going to be home for the week end so thank heavens I won't have to put up with the super bowl lol.

Hun
You are doing great. It amazes me some of the things I can do and never thought I would be able to do again. You keep going. Won't be long and we are going to hear how you can outrun superman

Melissa
I join you in being glad the counsins are getting smaller. They were 44dd now they are down to 40d. Can't wait to be back down to a 34b.

No TOM here. There are SOME blessings to being 50+ Weigh in tomorrow (after 3 days at a conference in a fabulous hotel) so I have my fingers crossed! And my toes crossed, and ...

We did a Trader Joe's run on the way home from Detroit and picked up lots of wonderful things. Those of you that have one close are so blessed!

Jen - sorry you are sick again! I hope you are better soon.

Shy - OH, I'm jealous girl! I'm still sporting 38 DDDs (almost fitting into DD). I am hoping the girls return to a 36C that they were the last time I was at goal weight. I'm really hopin' ...

TERAPET - I did the band camp thing with my kids too - though never in charge - just worked it. You are wonderful for doing this for your kids. It is a LOT of work!

Kari - congrats on the yoga! I love my routine too! It has really helped with my flexibility and balance and breathing And a double congrats on the size 14! That is AWESOME!!!!!

Laura - thrilled to hear that you did will at your conference too WAY TO GO!!!!!!

Tina - laughed at your post - I probably won't watch the game either.

Cassie - sorry to hear you are still under the weather. I'm not Catholic, but I usually do give up something for Lent. I'm still thinking about it. Giving up a food seems more trivial this year, since I have already changed my eating so much over the last 7 months. I'm thinking of maybe observing another discipline. Spending more time in prayer, devotion, helping others - something along those lines.

Melissa - thanks for the salsa recipe - looks yummy!

Captain Melissa - way to go on the running! I'm really impressed by anyone that can run. I couldn't seem to do it when I was a normal weight and 25 - it surely isn't gonna happen at 50+ But, I will stick to my walking, and skiing, and ski walking and hiking. I may be a turtle, but I am a determined one

Hello to anyone I missed! I hope everyone has a wonderful POP weekend!

Hi Red Team!! I have 27 pages of catching up to do!!! I hope everyone is doing okay. I worked this week, which felt good after not working since Nov. For those who don't know me well, I work for my husband's building company, I brushcoat the basement walls. Kinda like paint, but with a broom. The house I did this week took me 2 days, it was a huge basement. This isn't one of my dh's houses, it was one that the lumber company financed and then ended up taking back and they wanted dh's company to come in a fix what needed to be fixed. I swear the people were doing acid when they painted the rooms. I'm all for a colorful house, but man this was way out there. Anyway, this morning I woke up feeling good and was having coffee with dh and had a sneezing fit and felt awful the rest of the day. I slept the majority of the day, the kids had a snow day too. But I made a goal for myself this month to workout everyday, so this evening I sucked it up and went downstairs and did my WATP walk away your waist and by mile 2 I felt great, headache was gone, body wasn't achey, chest didn't hurt. And I was glad I did it. I've been retaining water today so I'm hoping that that will help flush my system as I don't have any lemon on hand.
Okay I think I'm rambling away here. Again, I hope everyone is doing well, Oh, I never did make it to WW to weigh in, I'll try tomorrow, if not it'll be monday. I'm going to do my best to catch up with the posts.

I couldn't believe how big my chest got but that was good because it kept me proportional. Will be nice to be a tiny person again lol.

Cats
Glad you are happy. Very glad the working out made you feel great. I have found I have less problems with the lbs, asthma, arthritis and over all feel so much better since I started to work out.

I'm a few pages behind and too tired to read. TOM hit me big time and the last few days I have been eating like an idiot. I'm taking a freebie this week if that's ok!!

Hey girls, I had to just come in and tell you all that I had the most exciting evening I've had in quite awhile (all company paid which makes it even better!!!). My co-workers got together at a local bowling alley/go-kart racing/arcade/bar. We played poker, did a few rounds of go-karts, played some lazer tag, played some DDR, drank lots of beer. That is my only downfall for the evening. Here it is 1:30 am and I just go home after oh probably 6 or 7 beers. I'm sure that killed my calories for the day... Bud Light and Corona. with lime. But the best part of the evening was...at the very end while I was doing some DDR with a co-worker...Amy from TBL season 3 walked up behind me and Marty was not far behind!!!! I introduced myself, of course being 3 shades under the wind (oh did I mention I had a few shots too) helped a bit, but all was good as I wasn't the only low-coherent one in the group. They are such a sweet and cute couple! I did have someone take a picture of us and I will post on my Million Pound Match-Up page. Amy and I have been chatting back and forth through Myspace about trying to change her to be my MillionDollarBody coach for awhile now so once I mentioned that she knew exactly who I was even though we had never met before. Marty offered me a free session to their bootcamp so I am going to try that out either Tuesday or Thursday. I am just so happy now and I should get to bed as I am supposed to meet my friend and her trainer in 5.5 hours. Um yeah, did I mention how much I've had to drink tonight. Later this morning may not be so fun!

Glad you had a wonderful time, if I drank that much I would die lol. Nice that you got to meet those people. Hope you have fun at the boot camp.

You do what you have to do. I know this can be a difficult time. You just remember there are no free weeks in life. We have to deal with what comes our way.

Good morning ladies,

No TOM here and i'm happy to report a 3.6lbs loss. YIPEE!!!

Melissa: Congrats on finishing week 2 of c25k. I'm going to try to do day 3 of week 1 tonight and then i'll be on week 2. It's cool to be able to build our stamina with running. I can't wait until I can do a full 5k....exciting!!

Utahgirl: Do you have ANY information? I guess I'll start by PMing you the quiz so you can figure out your points! AND maybe the 8 healthy guidelines to follow daily.

shymoment: WOW, a 34b would be absolutely wonderful!! I haven't been that small since before highschool!

Okay gotta run, DS has two basketball games today... and I want to hit the gym sometime! Have a great day everybody!

Thanks, Cassie! I'm going to be in Boston next week for work, so I'll have to find a church there to go to for services. I hope I can get off work to go! Maybe there will be an early morning one somewhere. As for what to give up, I think I'm going to give up sweets entirely. I've become such an addict lately, and I never used to be at all, so it'll be tough but a good one. Too bad I just bought that half gallon of ice cream... should I try to eat it all up before Lent? Just kidding!

Melissa, when I went on birth control my boobs ballooned up, and I was really unhappy about it. They seem to be shrinking as I lose weight, but are losing a bit of their perkiness as they go, which is frustrating. Maybe I need to do those "we must... we must... we must increase our bust" pec perking exercises (yes, I totally caught your reference)! Also, congrats on finishing week 2 of C25K!

Danielle and Andi, my gym membership is $79/month... and that's a discount! Crazy gym prices in NYC.

I have to work all day today, and probably most of the afternoon/evening tomorrow (though I'm running a 4 mile race in the AM and then have a brunch at noon). My Superbowl plans fell through, so I think my celebration is just going to be making some yummy chili and other traditional Superbowl recipes (but healthy), and eating them while I work. Recipes to come later in the day when I got bored and need a break from work

I'm sad to report that I completely ruined any success I had at the conference by going way overboard at a company party last night. Today and tomorrow I am going to eat extra super healthy, and also work out a lot. Getting right back on the horse! I'm determined not to let last night affect my weigh in for all of you. GO RED TEAM!

Good morning ladies! Well TOM is in full force here as well. And I haven't been doing so good, so I think I'll use a freebie week this week as well. My scale wasn't looking too nice this morning.
Not sure if we are doing anything for superbowl. I invited one of my girlfriends and her husband over, but I don't know if they are coming. But if they do, it'll be WW food all the way! Going to be drinking lots of water today. Also think I'll try and do some more yoga, I really enjoyed it. My muscles in my back are screaming at me this morning, but it feels good to know I was moving. Hope everyone has a great day!

Good Morning Ladies! Happy Saturday

I've had a crazy week at work and haven't been able to check in or read any posts. I'll try to catch up over the weekend. We had a huge snowstorm yesterday and my neighbourhood is still pretty much snowed in. I managed to get through it this morning to go to WW and weigh-in. I was a little disappointed with my loss - it was only 0.2, but I guess I just have to accept that my weight loss story is slow and steady.

Hope everyone has a great OP weekend!
