Hi everyone,

I had a few pages to go thru this morning. I hope you all had a good weekend. I posted my weight as the same. I didnt go up nor down. I wasnt all that POP this week so it would be my fault. Sorry I didnt contribute to the team this week. It's the week before TOM and thats always a bad week for me. Have a great day.

Good morning ladies~ Well I dropped Joey off this morning at school, and I don't pick him up until Wednesday afternoon. He is going to camp with school. I was not 100% sure I would even let him go, but then I remembered when I was his age and went away to camp how much fun I had. The world today scares me though!! I had a long talk with him about what to do if certain problems occured, and I just will pray that he'll have a good time, and there will be no problems. I was listing stuff off to him last night that I wanted him to remember, and at one point he looked at me and said " mom I'm 11 yrs. old I know I have to brush my teeth and go to the bathroom before bed" I started cracking up He must of thought I was a lunatic He really is a good boy though and has been getting all A's and B's this year with the exception of one C, so I really feel he deserved this. It's just hard to let them go. I always thought "ohh I can't wait for them to grow up and get the heck out of my house" I can see that I'm going to be a total freak when that happens. I'm freaking out over a few days, and the thought of Madison going to all day school next year. I have to weigh-in this morning, but I'm thinking I'll use a freebie. I just have a feeling it won't be good. Kev took the kids sledding yesterday, I stayed home. My throat was bugging me, and I had a killer headache. They all had a blast! Well today I'm back on track...eating and exercise wise. I only got 3 days of exercise in last week, but this week will be the full 5! Eating will be back in check also. That's about all for me...

Ideal- 2 min. run 3 min. walk for 60 min....girl that's awesome

Melissa- I love the new challenge. I'm looking forward to bringing in some big money Oh pina coladas sound yummy!

Counting- You've been enjoying those skiis Glad you and your husband are having some fun with them!

Jaime- Great job on c25K and your weights. I'll have to check those podcasts out

Karen- That hunger exercise was really interesting.

Mom23Bc- Hello, how's it going today?

Rennie- I think that is so wonderful that you help out in the soup kitchen, and for 12 hrs at that People like you are what this country is all about

Jelynn- Great job on the 2 lb loss!

Roni- Glad your team won...I think I may start the c25K up with ya...everyone else is doing it, why not I hope you feel better~

Cassie- TOM is on the way out for me also, and like you I'm ready to have a good week

Jen- That is great that your a Sunday school teacher. Something about a church choir always gives me the goose bumps, they sound angelic~

Everyone else have a wonderful day~

Good Monday morning Red Team!! Figured I'd pop in real quick before I got a shower. Had a good workout this morning, did my 3mile weight loss walk with 5lb hand wts. Tonight I'll do TBL cardio max. I've got a goal for Feb to workout daily, even on my 'off' days I want to do something. So I found a little calendar, got some smiley stickers and have one on each day, so far. I also have a WW meeting at noon, not sure how weigh in will go since TOM came this morning, a week early So send me some for a .

Tina~ I felt the same way when Cam went to camp last year. They were maybe 2hrs away but him being gone for 3 days drove me a little crazy. It just was weird with him not home. I'm really going to be over the edge when he goes to Toronto in May with his class. They'll be gone for 4 days, I wanted to chaperone, but just couldn't afford the extra $350 plus I don't have a passport. Not sure I need one as I hear on casino commercials for Winsor that won't be necessary til the summer of 09, but his teachers said that the adults needed passports and the kids just need their birth certificate. He did a magazine fundraiser to earn money towards his trip, so we ended up paying $250 or so.

Okay will I better go, I'll check in later to post my weight and will make a huge effort to catch up with the posts!!
Have an awesome day ladies!!!

Good Morning Red Team,

I feel so good today. I am happy to have last week over and was relieved to at least stay the same weight for weigh-in. I was so afraid I had already gained back my little pound and a half. Phew! Plus I am planning to run on the treadmill during my lunch break today. I haven't been to the Y in a week! I just know this is going to be an awesome week. I started this morning with a homemeade smoothie with yogurt, rasberries and a banana. A bit healthier then my usual toasted white bread with butter!

I enjoy reading the progress of the C25K participants. I picked up running again two years ago. Sometimes I get too busy and don't run very much (like last week) but I feel it really helps me for both cardio and strength conditioning plus it helps me deal with my anxiety issues. Keep up the great work ladies!

Counting-your pictures are beautiful. Cross country skiing is a lot of work, right? What a great way to exercise. I almost wished I lived where it snowed. Almost. I actually lived in Michigan for a year along time ago (near Detroit). The winter was pretty long and chilly! I live in the southeast now so I am pretty spoiled as far as extreme weather conditions go.

Tina
God made baby's small and soft and sweet so we would take care of them. God made little ones full of wonder at each new thing they see so we would be surprised our selfs by things we see everyday so we would take care of them. God made children to learn and grow so we could remember being that age our selfs so we would take care of them. God made teenagers so we would be glad when they leave home.

Thank you. People are always saying " someone has to do it " but they are never the someone. I have been doing this for as long as I can remember. My kids even come and help sometimes. Thanksgiving day and Christmas day are the two days a year I never have to ask them to come. They make plans in advance that they are going to go with me. This year I was very surprised. My sons girlfriend made plans for them with her family. This was a big thing. He said sorry, I go with my mother to the soup kitchen. I thought he would go with her instead.

Hun
They are due to early menopause which started when I was 29 after I had a tubal. I can go for months that they are normal, you can set a calendar by them and then POOF things start acting up again. He doc was going to have me have a hystorectomy last summer. I stared to lose weight and said forget it lol. I am letting nothing get in the way of my weight loss. Once I hit goal and am in shape I may go ahead and have it done. Not going to use the baby bed anymore lol might as well just keep the playpen. My daughter gets so mad because when my cycles act up hers act up too lol.

jl
Thank you. Today my feet do not think it was a great day lol. I wonder if I wore the new shoes I got for my workout vidoes if they would be better on my feet?

Cathy in Canada..ya know when it wasnt the best week OP the fact that you maintained is a REALLY good sign!! this week will be better! Especially when the best way to earn us money for our challenge trip is by staying OP and exercising!

Tina...oh I remember going to camp with school in the 6th grade. It was so fun! Our schools dont do anything fun like that anymore. everyone is so afraid of liability so our kids dont get to experience these fun things. You've got a great kid and he is gonna do just fine!! 5 days this week lady!! You can do it!

Cathy...so great to see you again this morning!!! Way to go on that workout!! Good luck with that goal..I know you can do it!!

Terapet....You've got a great energy about you today!! Good job maintaining!! Excellent job with the running. I've always wanted to do it just because I know the benefits it brings, but it really intimidated me alot. Still does! LOL! But man does it feel good to have the run over! Keep up the great work!! I can tell its going to be a great week for you!

LOL Rennie, love the comment about teenagers. My oldest turns 13 in a month but she's already acting 16!! Somedays I could just throttle her!

Day 1 of c25k DONE! My quads are freaking killing me lol! I just ate a banana to try and help with the cramps. I did .5 mile of laps in the pool too and I tell ya, the treadmill was the easy part! OMG! I think the laps are harder because I have asthma, but hopefully I can build up to a complete mile. All and all feel proud and pretty good. it was a struggle doing both and I just kept saying to myself, YOU CAN DO THIS! and I did!

Good morning everyone! good job to all on their workouts!! I did another day of yoga and some workout on my exercise ball. So that felt good. Little bit frustrated around here today. Hoping to just let it go and not affect my entire day. But I feel my positive mood going down the drain quickly...

Great job Roni...I'm an awful swimmer! I look like I need to be rescued when I swim!LOL!

Melissa- I give you my word that I'll work out my 5 days this week

Rennie- That saying is so sweet, and so true. Thank you~

Cat- Yeah that is the reason Kev or I didn't go with Joey. We didn't have the extra $, and Joey seemed like he wanted to go solo on this one

Terapet- I love smoothies, they keep me full for a long time.

Kari- It' hard once we get frustrated to undo it...try to just take some deep breaths and think positive. With children though, girl I know it's hard to do Do you do a yoga video? I've tried some yoga and just can't seem to get into it. I think I have adhd though, I like stuff with some speed Hang in there hun, it will get better for you today~

Well I'm taking my freebie this week, lets just say WI wasn't good...AT ALL! I'm back on it now though

Good afternoon ladies,

Just a quick post and I gotta run. I'll post again later tonight.

Melissa: Psyched about that challenge. It's fun and motivating. Also, I almost stuck to my plan until DBF brought us to Burger King on the way to his sisters house because we were all rushing, didn't eat lunch. Not in my plan, so I ate about 15 more points than I had planned for. I ate almost all of my wap's but that is what they are there for so i'm not going to stress about it. I didn't go over my points, I stayed OP and i'm proud of that. AND I got up and went for a walk during halftime. by myself... LOL.

Is the vacation fund challenge starting today?

Glad you enjoyed the saying. I made that up myself. I needed hope of white carpet and making love in front of the fire place before I am told old to get down on the floor and back up without a doctor in attendance lol.

Hun
My daughter is now 17 1/2 my son is 21. A few years ago I would have told anyone they were crazy if they said I would ever be ready for them to leave home. Now, I ask them everyday why they still live here lol. My daughter says MOTHER I am not out of high school yet, I am only a sophomore. I say excuses excuses lol.
