Rennie: You'll definitely be getting a good workout moving all those paint cans.

Terapet: Night time seems to be a huge problem for a ton of people. Now that I have been on the WW program and totally Op for 39 days, many of my cravings are gone. I do indulge in 1 bowl of Honey Nut Cheerios with skim milk and it's all I really need in the evening. (I save my points for that of course, or I earn ap's at the gym) I used to eat at night non-stop. It was horrible. I used to think I had a sleep-eating (like sleep walking) problem. I'd go to bed, wake up in the morning with a 1/2 eaten bag of chips next to me, crumbs all over my bed, and no idea when and how it got there. LMAO....pretty sad huh? I"m so glad those nights are behind me now. I haven't had heartburn in 39 days either. shocking...I used to go through a bottle of tums a week. I guess you just need to kick your willpower into high gear and remember (and maybe even write down) the reasons you are wanting to lose weight. Then when you have those reasons in your head, you can weigh which one is more important to you .... wine and cake.....or losing weight! ((((hugs))))

TIP OF THE DAY!!!

Brush your teeth when you know you have eaten enough. No food tastes quite as it should once you’ve brushed your teeth!

Melissa-Thanks for the words of encouragement. I will work on that list today. I had one of those lists a few years ago and it really did help with the my woeful lack of willpower.

Rennie- Duh wood floors...I'm a dork! With all this new stuff out today though I thought maybe a food floor was something new Like I said I'm a dork!

Terapet- I've been hearing a lot about king cake these last few days I think it's great that your husband is going to start watching what he eats with you. It's so much nicer when both are on board to plan meals and what not!

Melissa73- Oh so I have to be good on weekends also???LOL! I don't do WW, but I do try to watch my calories. I find on weekends though all this little stuff slips into my diet, but it somehow doesn't slip into The Daily Plate!LOL! I need to get better on that. I know that is a huge part of my problem. I've never been to Vegas so I can't wait...it's going to be a blast I'm sure. Maybe I'll join the show girls on stage if I get myself in shape...yeah right! Okay a chair pose is when you put your back up aganist the wall and sit down like your sitting into a chair. Your knees should be at a 90 degree angle and then you just stay like that as long as you can...I lasted about 35 seconds each time. I also though worked my legs yesterday afternoon, so they were sore to begin with, but they are hard. I could feel my quads working big time. A plank is this....

Here's how to do plank

1. Lie face down on mat resting on the forearms, palms flat on the floor.
2. Push off the floor, raising up onto toes and resting on the elbows.
3. Keep your back flat, in a straight line from head to heels.
4. Tilt your pelvis and contract your abdominals to prevent your rear end from sticking up in the air.
5. Hold for 20 to 60 seconds, lower and repeat for 3-5 reps.

Tina: Thank you soooo much. Now I know exactly what they both are. No need for a picture. LOL about joining the show girls!

Terapet: Glad I could be of assistance. Things on the refrigerator are always helpful. I have a little notebook of notecards that have a different inspirational saying on them. I switch it every morning for my daily inspiration to myself.....today's was "FACE YOUR STUFF DON"T STUFF YOUR FACE!"

Hi Red team!

I missed you guys so much this week! I've had a rough couple of days, have been dealing with the chaos of life. Was also dealing with t.o.m. like I hear many others were. lol. I did manage to stay on plan though, and I'm really happy about it. I did submit my weight loss for the week, of course.

I'm going to be around a little less these next few weeks, I'm going to be travelling to the U.S. for a week on the 17th. I hope not to have to take a freebie week, but it may come up, so I'll sign myself up for a potential freebie week when I leave (Just in case), and hopefully I'll be able to check in on the Monday I come back with a weight for you guys.

I haven't been able to catch up with the posts yet, you guys have been busy! lol. I did manage to catch TBL though, and it was my favourite episode yet! I loved the cooking challenge! How do you guys get previews of next week's episode though? We never get to see that! (I'm watching in Canada, on E). Can we see the preview online somewhere?

-Yello.

SkinnyVibes, Tina30, Shymoment, Terapet, Melissa73 & anyone else I may have missed : Thanks for the well wishes for the baby. She is in my arms taking a nap. I am taking a lazy day today, after being up most of the night last night.

Shymoment: It looks like this could be your exercise for the day. I put in wood flooring in my old house. It was a lot of exercise (work).

Terapet: Wow, I haven’t had a king cake in a long time. Mmmm….at least did you manage to get the baby in your piece? Or do they not do that anymore?

Melissa73: Thanks for the tip. Totally agree. I really should do that more often.

Tina: Thanks for the info about the exercises. I was wondering what they were.

Yellow: I don’t know about the previews, but the previews made it look like next week was a week you don’t want to miss. Have you tried looking on NBC.com? Have a good trip.

KSK: Good job staying on plan and exercising.

Mom
These are pretty easy they are hard wood but cut to snap together. The wood floors under the carpet just weren't in good enough shape to refinish them.

Tina
You never know with the new stuff out lol.

Melissa
I am NOT moving those paint cans for awhile. I will toss them out the window before I move them again for at least a few days. I thought my arms were going to fall off lol. Between primer and paint there were 60 cans and I had to take them down then down the basement stairs then over to the other side of the basement.

Melissa~ I don't use a DVD. On my cable they have fit tv and I get it off of there. It's like free pay per view. The one I have been doing is AM Yoga, it's for beginners. I just started doing yoga so I couldn't point you in the right direction. Sorry.

Well I got my Joey back home safe and sound!! YAY! He had a really good time, and said he wishes he could of stayed one more day. I was thinking good Lord 3 days almost killed me, and he wants to stay longer!LOL! I'm glad he had fun though, and I'm glad he is home safe in mama's nest! I'm trying to decide what I want to do for exercise today...gym or at home???? It is really crappy outside...rain/snow, I guess they call that sleet huh?LOL! I just haven't been to the gym in forever and I'm missing it. I have a ton of laundry to do from Joey's trip...maybe that was one nice thing about him being gone I didn't have half the laundry I do when he's home J/K I missed him like crazy! I was showing him how much I've improved on guitar hero. He was like "mom I beat all the easy songs and most of the medium" well shoot you think you could be anymore of a killjoy!LOL! I was really impressed with myself. Okay I'm off to switch loads of laundry and see if my youngest is ready to come out of time out...maybe he could go to sleep away camp for a few days!LOL! Just playing~

Good evening ladies!! Sorry I've not done a single personal today its just been one of those days. a productive day so I rode the wave LOL! Its different from those homework days where I need the constant homework break just to make it throught auditing!

I did my run today, the last 3 minutes almost killed me but I did it! I've decided that since on MWF I am at the gym I need to stay at the gym and get some resistance training done. So before Friday I need to come up with a workout to do so I am prepared.

I have no idea what to do for dinner which means I've gotta run to the store...I HATE the store! Especially this time of day when everyone and their dog is there getting dinner too.

Tonight I will be making it up to my red team and getting that plank and chair attempt done while I watch TBL. And I promise that I wont even fast forward the commercials while I do it! LOL!

Today has been a MUCH better day, I should be right on with points. That needs to happen thursday and friday too before I gotta meet the scale on saturday or its going to be ugly and i'll be sad. I'm supposed to get my 5 lbs sticker on saturday!!

Anyone have a good healthy crock pot recipe they wanna share?

Have a wonderful evening red team!!

Melissa - I like Gaim's "Yoga Conditioning For Weight Loss" DVD. There is actually a boxed set - Quickstart, Conditioning, and Maintenance. My favorite is the conditioning. You pick Full modification, 1/2, 1/4 or no modifications. So it really is a good workout - no matter what your level of flexibility. I usually do the workout 2-3 times per week.

My review of Kickbox Bootcamp. The instructor is the same one (Keli Roberts) that does my "Pumping Rubber" video that came with my resistance bands. She is a very good instructor (British Accent) and the pace is good. I tried 4 of the 5 segments.
BASIC TRAINING - I liked it! Good workout, slow instruction, but got my heart rate up where it needed to be

ARM & SHOULDER SCULPTOR - uses dumbbells - you pick your weight. I had a bit of trouble not punching myself in the chin with my 3 lb weight (I can be a klutz sometimes), but once I got the hang of it, it was a good workout - my shoulders are still feeling it.

UTIMATE BUNS & THIGHS - leg work while using the dumbells too. I definitely was breathing hard - using so many muscles at once really had me feeling it!

FAT BURNING BLAST - I gave up after the first couple minutes. She went into squat thrusts and I had horrible flashbacks from high school gym class (and we are talking 35 years ago people)! I will probably be skipping that segment.
