Rennie, thanks for sharing such a cute story!

Cat, way to challenge yourself with Jillian's workout! Let us know how it goes.

I found a steak salad on the room service menu that was under 400 calories, and it was amazing and filling! I'm thrilled. I also clocked 30 mins on the bike and 32 minutes of a few exercise DVDs in my hotel room. Maybe traveling will be better for me than staying home and cooking! Haha.

So glad you found something to eat that wasn't so full of fat and calories that you wanted to cry. Nice going getting that exercise in when you are away from home.

First I didn't take personal pleasure in the kids getting potty trained. I just hoped they would be potty trained before cub scouts and brownies lol. Second, hehehehehehe I am so glad my daughter isn't the only one that thought since she was born without clothes there was no reason to have to wear any.

Haven't had time to read everyone's post, but I will! Wanted to check in before I crash tonight, I am wiped out!!

I procrastinated my workout and finally got on the treadmill at 4pm after the kids got home from school. WON't be doing that again! I really prefer midmorning or right after lunch for running. ANyway- I did my first run of week 5 for C25K! It was three 5 minute runs- but I was feeling so great on the last one I went for 7! lol So I guess I'll be able to do the 8 minute one on Wednesday. It's that 20 minute run on Friday that has me scared!! I also went and did my cleaning job tonight for 2.5 hours. So basically I'm a sweaty mess and need to shower before I climb into bed
Let's have a great week, everyone!!

Wow that is fantasic. You are really doing good.

I am so proud of myself. Since I had a whole day that I really had nothing to do. I decided today was going to be my 10 miles 1 mile walking/aerobic video at a time marathon day. I didn't think I was going to be able to do it but I DID IT. Wow I feel great.

Its okay, I'll keep checking but I do gotta go vote this morning before class so maybe I'll just PM you our numbers just to be sure they get posted! No rush!

And to the Red team:
Just a few observations on weigh ins. If you previously took a freebie whether by choice or not getting your weight posted on time. If you post a weight on that week after the fact it still counts as a freebie on the spreadsheets. There were several people who had freebies last week and in week one (Chellez had marked them) and this week there is a weight in its spot. Its okay if you want to document it for yourself but just be aware that its already been counted as a freebie and we dont change them. When doing weekly weigh ins for the team I only take Week 3's weights. I hope that makes sense.

Also, just so everyone is aware. If you dont ever post to your team and offer your team support, you will not be named as the Red team Biggest Loser, or over all loser. I think the other teams have this rule as well. This was the case this week. The person who was technically the biggest loser will not get the crown. IMO its not fair to give that title to someone who isnt participating with their team other than to post a weigh in, when we've got such an amazingly supportive group, those are the real winners! Now this doesnt count for those regulars who have a busy week, or internet issues. Trust me, your team knows if you've been participating with us or not!

Okay off to do my hair and hit the polls!

G'day Teammies
I did my WATP 4 mile express/super challenge this morning and will do TBL power sculpt tonight, before TBL. I went to look at the results, and was amazed that we've lost 7 people already.

Laura~ glad that you found a good dinner choice. You can show us how to travel and stay on plan with food and exercise.

Melissa~ have a wonderful presentation.

Shy ~ on your 10 mile marathon!!

Everyone~ I hope you have a great day.

I'll check in later.

If everyone could please take a look at this thread

The Biggest Loser Title Information

It's concerning participation and being recognized as the Biggest Loser.

I just want to make sure everyone is aware of the new rule before I hear any whining!

Good morning all!

JenCongrats on being our biggest loser this week!! I think it’s great that your family could have the dinner conversation and resulting election. When I was young, science and history did not interest me at all. I was an A student, but I just didn’t retain the basic knowledge about these things that I wish I had. I’m politically challenged. We have a Jamaican intern this semester who was asking me about Super Tuesday yesterday at lunch. Wow – there’s a lot I don’t know. I am curious what kind of law you passed. Was it for your family or did it relate more to American as a whole? I’m sorry you lost your lawsuit. I hope it wasn’t something like suing your family to help more around the house!!

Cassie – I know it’s frustrating to not lose like you think you should be. ½ pound is a loss. Congrats!

Nicoya – Sounds like you are having some significant life frustrations. Hang in there! I hope you can get the phone bill and housing situation figured out.

Laura – sounds like you're on track with your travel project. You’re doing great!

Emily – great job on the running! You’ll be able to whip out a 20 minute run with no problem. I have faith in you.

Rennie – great job on the 10 miles! That’s quite an accomplishment! Thanks for being our stand-up comedian yesterday!

Melissa – good luck on your presentation. Thanks for setting up our challenge too. I think it will be fun!

Cathy – great job on the exercise

Roni – great job on the swimming! I don’t know how to swim and I really wish I did.

Skinnyvibes – Hang in there. I hope you can beat the frustration soon. I love my exercise ball. I haven’t used it for a while. I should get that back out.

Terapet
– your smoothie sounds good. Great job on the running. That’s something I haven’t ventured into yet.

Tina – Very funny about your son saying that he knows to brush his teeth and go to the bathroom before bed. I am 36 and when I’m at my parents house, my dad will still tell me to look both ways before I cross the street when I go on a walk. Oh, and don’t talk to strangers! My sisters and I laugh about it all of the time!

Now about me: I had a NSV this morning! First a little background info. I am NOT a morning person. I am one of those obnoxious people who push the snooze a half a dozen times before getting up. It’s so bad that I set my alarm clock 20 minutes early. With my busy life (2 jobs) I just didn’t have the time or energy to exercise at night. I decided to stop the excuses and start getting up early to exercise in the mornings. I have been doing this since December. I have been pushing the snooze once in the morning. When it goes off, I push it again and turn a light on and have 9 minutes to get used to the light.

Well, this morning for some reason I looked at the clock and forgot about the 20 minute early time. I hopped out of bed panicked that I was running late. I went to the bathroom and got my shoes on. When I looked at the clock in the living room it was 20 til the hour. I thought “Crap, the battery must be dying.” Then it dawned on me that I was up early. Instead of going back to bed until my usual exercise time. I popped in a 45 minute video (instead of my usual 30 minute video that I do in the mornings). Yea, me!

Take care and have a great day everyone!

So I'm a moron! Montana is only holding a caucus today, not a primary. So not voting for me LOL! And here I spent my morning flying by the seat of my pants making sure I had time to do it! Well it just prepared me for June!

I heard on the radio this morning that Rocco Dispirito(sp?) is going to be on TBL tonight. I love him! Dont ask me why, cuz I dont know but I do!

I'm wondering how much of the show is gonna be preempted though.

Today is also Mardi Gras!

Karen...you cannot imagine how impressed I am with you and what you accomplished this morning!! I am NOT a morning person either! In fact, when i gotta get my dd up for a shower I get her going and go back to bed for 15 minutes LOL! So way to go this morning!! What an amazing NSV!!

Cathy...you are rocking those workouts lady!! Excellent job! I'll post a list later on this afternoon but we are in jeapardy of losing several more of our teammates. But I suppose its okay, if they arent participating they just weigh us down. Have a fantastic day!!

Emily...I cant wait to hear how you do on that 20 minutes!! That scares the you know what out of me! LOL...but if you can do it so can I so I'll be waiting for that update! You can do it!

Jen...congrats on being Red teams Biggest Loser for Week 3!!!

We may not have won overall this week, but look how close it was!! And thats with all our TOM issues!! Next week is our week red team!!

Okay, I better stop rambling on and get to class!! Have a wonderful day!

Good Morning everyone. I am really sorry that I can't do personals so much, I have 3 kids at home that I homeschool. I do try to read everything, but not always possible.

This week my personal goal is to continue with my walking and to get my step thingy out and do 500 step-ups (maybe while watching TBL?).

I do hope that everyone has a wonderful on plan day!

Mom23BC - it's great to hear from you when you can make it. Don't worry about personals. 500 Step ups - sounds like a great personal challenge! You can do it!!
