Good morning Red team! I had a bit of an off day yesterday, my trainer called in sick and I skipped my workout and ate pizza :o Needless to say I am doing damage control today. I have a kick butt cardio class to go to this afternoon and I am planning on going early to run to get double cardio. Hoping a lot of water and healthier eating will bring my numbers back down on the scale.

Helllllo Ladies!
So now I'm back to join ya'll finally, did my time at work this morning and so glad to be out of there for the remainder of the day and tomorrow. Mel- yanno, its funny that you mention seeing Bob. When I felt like I wasn't gonna be able to hang on, on the verge of caving, my first thought was, well if you do this you will ruin your chances of getting to that finale. How weird is that?! Needless to say, it's kept me on the straight and narrow pretty much! I am so proud of you for doing your C25K. That's pretty amazing! Good luck on that quiz, but I know you'll do great. Tina, wow, you are a workout machine ain't ya! :D Good girl! jlbake- I'm with you on the weather thing. I'm a southern Ca. girl at heart, and anything below 50 and I am SO freezing. You shoulda seen my kids when they were small and we went anywhere that was "cold"....they looked like the little kid on "Christmas Story"....can't put my arms down!!!...heehee. Laura, you have to read the Evanovich books, they're amazing! You will laugh out loud I can almost guarantee it. OptimistK, gosh, I don't think I've read anything ultra deep since my college days. LOL I think it's fabulous that you like reading so much, and stuff that really makes you think. I have always encouraged my kids to develop a taste for all genres when they read, that way they can be well rounded in lots of areas. I love love love to read. Mostly stuff that goes quick as I don't have alot of time anymore. I just finished 'p.s. I love you'...parts of it made me cry. lol Now I'm reading Atonement and so far I really like it. And Melissa, do you know that I just realized that I never read #13 of the Plum series! LOL How I missed it I have no idea. I also loved Robert Ludlum's Jason Bourne triliogy, good stuff there. The plan is to get a workout in before fetching the chicklets from school. It's rainy and overcast here and I'm fighting the urge to curl up in a ball and watch t.v. and snooze. :o Truth is, I haven't had a whole lot of sleep this week so a nap sounds really enticing. However, I know I NEED to get that exercise in now or I'll never do it. So, with that, I'm outtie and gonna jump on the elliptical before I change my mind! :D Have a good one! |
Hi everyone - Was going to try out the leg at the gym yesterday but then it was snowing and when I looked this morning it's 1 degree outside, so I guess I'll until tomorrow since the gym is a 4 mile round trip walk.
My weight is just hanging there this week despite eating lightly. Guess the body is starting to get pouty about no exercise. Maybe I'll pop in a DVD later. Hope everyone's having a more productive week! |
Good morning ladies! Well DH is going out of town today until late Saturday. Hoping the kids are on their best behavior. ha ha ha. I think that's an oxy moron!! :) Just kidding!
Tina~ I don't know about patience of a saint. Some days I don't think I have any patience. :) Question of the day: I can't remember the last time I did something for me. But DH and I have decided when we reach 20# lost (each) we are going to go in and get a massage. That'll be a good reward. :) |
Thursdays Question of the day!:
When was the last time you bought or did something for yourself for no other reason than it felt good? I totally forgot to answer the question of the day. Well I would have to say my bubble baths have been something I've been doing for myself lately. I just find them so relaxing, and it's my time to unwind:) I lock the door, put my Mp3 player on, and read my book! It's an hour of blissful ME TIME!!! Okay I have a confession to make. I have been eating stuff I shouldn't today. I just wish my period would come already. I went to grab something else and I actually had to say out loud STOP! I have worked to dang hard this week in the gym to blow it. I'm not sure if I'll weigh-in tomorrow or wait until Monday. I just feel all bloated, and I feel like my weight this week isn't going to be good. I'm back on track starting right now though, and tonight I'll push myself that much harder at the gym. |
Jen - I read "My Name is Asher Lev" by Chaim Potok a few years ago. Don't remember it too well though... I might have to check out "The Chosen."
Danielle, I love make your own sandwiches! What I hate is when they bring catered sandwiches in that are all made and slathered with mayo. Yuck! Melissa, thanks for the book tips! Will definitely check them out on my next library visit. Question of the day: I got a massage on Sunday :) I guess it was kind of for a reason (my neck was sore), but that was really just me making up a reason so I could justify it to myself. It was fantastic, and I found this great place that was so cheap - $42 for an hour (plus tip)! I'll definitely be going back there. Tina, for a while I thought my gym hadn't been hit with the new year's resolution-ers, but last night I went earlier than usual (7 PM, right when I got home from work, rather than 8 or 9 PM to watch TV), and it was packed! I was really surpriesd. |
Hi team! Sorry I haven't been around lately, I'm sick and feeling so BLAH. Sadly, it's not the "stomach" sickness, it's a cold, and I've been eating horribly, nevermind the fact that today is my brother's 10th b-day and so we are going to McDonald's for dinner and then out for ice cream.:^: Oh my!
Tomorrow though...tomorrow I shall be good. And back on plan. *sigh* |
Hi Team! I really don't have alot of time to stop by... but I wanted to say hi! And congrats to all who are keeping up with the excercising! I am having a bit of a set back. I have gained back 2 of the lbs I lost at our last weigh in and believe me I am frstrated because I have been eating OP. So I guess I will just continue to do so and hopefully I will have some good news on Sat. when i weigh in again! Wish me luck! And good luck to all of you! We are going to ROCK the weigh in once again I just know it!
|
Hi team! Glad to see all of the literature suggestions! I love to read, but I'm a big Audible fan right now. Life is too busy to sit down with a book, so I clean and work out while listening to books. It makes both go much better :)
I just finished Hide by Lisa Gardner, The Secret things of God, by Henry Cloud, and Power Play by Joseph Finder. All were excellent! Question of the day: I took a bath with salts and the portable whirlpool last week. I took my favorite music, a my latest copy of "Prevention" and a glass of red wine with me. DH worked late, so I had a nice relaxing hour in the tub. I haven't done that in a long, long time :) Good day today - tried a new workout video "Sweating in the Spirit". Not bad, I think it will grow on me. Hope everyone has a evening! |
Good evening ladies,
Thank you all for the great suggestions on calorie counting. I am going to definetly look into all of this as soon as I can. I am actually quite excited as the more I think about it, the more it makes sense...I think after a year of the same program I need to make a change. Melissa if you could send me that info on WW you were saying that would be awesome, as I would like to make a choice between calorie counting and ww. I also went into the link you sent me and it is awesome...thanks again. Well I will try to log in later as now I must go attend to the family. Hope everybody had a great day today. Take care Sara |
Hi everyone,
I hope you all had a great op day. I have. Actually all week I have been OP. I go get weighed tomorrow so hopefully I will be down some. I am done work for the week. I have till Monday off wooohooooo!!!! I also love to read but I am one of those mushy types of readers. I like romance stories. My fav author is Danielle Steel. I have read most of her books. My answer for the question of the day is: I hadn't bought myself nothing in a long long time. Justcause having to go shopping and try everything till I FINALLY found something that fit was just not enjoyable to me. I have taken up shopping and let me tell ya I love it!!1 lol... Not sure if my pocket book does tho. lol Have a great night and good luck to everyone on their weigh ins this week. Cathy in Canada:) |
Just popping in for a quick hello! I just got back from the Y, and I'm really, really tired. I've spent all day emptying my bedroom & prepping to paint it and put in new flooring tomorrow. I got that click-lock flooring from Ikea, so it shouldn't be that hard to do. I'm going to bed now, got to be up bright and early to paint tomorrow. (ugh, I can smell the fumes already) :faint: Oh well, I got quick-dry latex, and the clerk told me it shouldn't be too bad. Let's hope I can sleep in the room tomorrow night, otherwise I'm stuck sharing the couch with a pair of chihuahuas! Yikes!
Keep on workin' for it, ladies! I want to see the red team kick butt again this week! :cheer2: GO RED!!! -Yello. |
Good morning ladies!!!
I hope everyone has a wonderful Friday!!! Later 'gators! |
Good Morning Red team! I made it through the 2nd week from **** and I am in one piece! I haven't lost any weight as of yet, but I haven't gained either. I am a lil' confused by this as I have stayed within calories all but 1 day. I haven't been exercising, so that could be it, or it could be water retention, or heck, it could be STRESS! But anyway, I'm not giving up. I bought me some Kashi foods, a new resistance ball, and hopefully within the next couple of weeks, I'll have my treadmill and a new car! YAY!!! I'm also going to go get a PT job and ease myself back into the world. Sooooooo very tired of struggling for everything.
Anywho, I hope you all have a great weekend! |
Good morning ladies~ Well yesterday proved to be interesting at the gym. I knew I was going to do a extra long cardio session because of my little slip up yesterday afternoon. Before I tell the story though I'm happy to report I finished the day off great with my eating, and didn't continue the binge. That is huge for me, usually once I start it's very hard for me to stop. Like I said though I had to say out loud to myself STOP for me to stop, whatever works! Okay so I'm at the gym and after 70 min of cardio I'm dripping with sweat, and tired. I wanted just to finish off on the ellptical for 18 min. and then I was outta there. Well first off while on the treadmill the girl next to me had some awful body odor. I have a very weak stomach, and I understand I'm at a gym and it's not going to smell like roses, but this was bad!! I was halfway through my workout though, and I didn't want to stop and move, and I knew that would be rude so I stuck it out. Okay so I'm done and off to finish the night on the ellptical. So like I said I'm dripping sweat, tired, and ready to go home. I have my mp3 on and I saw this man walk in front of the machine I was on and he looked at me and said hi, or at least that's what I think he said, I had my music blaring. So there are about 20 ellpticals, and only about 6 of them were in use, but all of a sudden I feel someone next to mine. Not only do I feel them I smell them. I was like ohhh heck no, not again. Okay so I have my music on and then I feel someone tapping me. I look over and there is the guy, so I pull my earpiece off and he starts talking to me. First he wants to know how long I usually workout, I say about and hour to and hour and a half. Then he wants to know how much I want to loose, I say about 15 more pounds. Then he looks me up and down and says your in pretty good shape...well thanks sir, pretty good shape. I wanted to knock this man off the machine. I'm dripping with sweat and the last thing I want is some moran assessing my body and weight!!! So then he asks if I'm married, so I'm thinking here we go this will end it soon. Yep I'm married, he asks how long 6 yrs. Do I like being married, yes I LOVE IT!LOL! Then he asks does my husband workout with me, no he works out after the kids go to bed...thinking okay now I'm married and have kids back the **** off mister! How many kids do I have, 3. What do I do for a living, I stay at home...tell your husband he's a lucky man. I just wanted to punch this man in the face! I finally just put my earpiece back on and finished my workout. I wasn't trying to be a witch, but dude is it not obvious that I'm not A interested and B married with 3 kids. The thing of it is I swear this is the same man who hit on me about a year ago when I first joined the gym...the questions seem pretty fimiliar! So that was my interesting evening at the gym, but when all was said and done I got in 88 min. of great cardio! Okay today I'm cleaning house, my legs are so sore today. Tomorrow were helping Kev's brother move, and Sunday I have to go grocery shopping. Other then that not much happening~
Danielle- I want to see that movie! I always like to see the movie before I read the book, but I have to say I always usually enjoy the book more. Cassie- Happy Birthday to your brother! I hope your feeling better~ Roni- I'm glad to hear your doing good. I was worried about you. I think a pt job will be nice for you, and maybe you could meet some friendly people! Have a great weekend! OptimistK- Your reading is way different from mine, yours sounds a lot more intellectual then mine!LOL! My husband loves William Faukner though...he is from the Dukes of Hazzard right, or had something to do with it? Muse- A 4 mile walk outside right now doesn't sound fun at ALL! It's so cold here I think I would freeze into a block of ice before I made it home;) Did you get to do a DVD? Yello- Good luck with painting and the floor today, I hope it goes smooth for you~ Cat- Hey all of us have days where we skip a workout or don't eat OP, your doing the right thing though by moving on and starting a new day! Cecilia- Who knows why are body does what it does, don't sweat 2 lbs though! Cathy/Canada- Great job with being OP all week long, you should have a great weigh-in. I really like mushy books also. I love DS, one of my favorite by her was The Long Road Home...great book! Melissa- How's it going today girlie? Have a great weekend- Laura, Melissa73,Andi, Floann, Meech, Karen, Rennie, Deb, M23BC, Kari, Jen, Cathy, Sara, Emily, and Barbara:) |
good morning everyone,
So I went to WI this morning and I am down 2 more pounds. I am half way there. I was glad to finally see that. I havwe an underactive thyroid and take meds daily for it, I wasnt expecting nor was I expected to lose this much considering the thyroid problem so I am really happy and so are the councellors at my center. Someone with a thryoid problem is usually able to lose no more than a pound a week. I have been averaging my two pounds and more. I love the long road home. I havent read one her books that I havent enjoyed. I hate when the book is almost done. Well I am off till Monday so I dont plan on doing much. I bowl tonight. Other than that I dunno. I hope you have a great weekend. Cathy/Canada |
Happy Friday Gang!
I am looking forward to a great OP weekend, actually can't wait for weigh in this weekend! I've been a good girl with food, only thing is exercise has only happened 2x this past week. Work just gets so in the way, wish I could ditch it. LOL Cathy in Canada- Great to see you! Wishing you skinny vibes at weigh in today! Diva, you're doing great. Be patient, I know it's hard but keep on keeping on the weight will have no choice but to melt away! OptimistK, have a great day! Tina, which movie? P.S. I love you? I want to too, but dh says I'm on my own for that one. lol Atonement(which I'm reading now) is just starting to get really good so I'm hoping the movie for that one will be great too. I cannot believe the nerve of that guy!! How creepy. Hopefully that's the end of him! You did awesome on that workout, lots to be proud of lady!!! Have a great day everyone! |
Well I just weighed myself and I'm down .5 of a pound. I'm really happy though because my period is about to start so a loss of any kind is great this time of month. Hopefully my next WI will be great! Okay going to log my weight so I don't forget!
Cathy/Canada- Great job on that loss, that's great! |
Congrat's on the loss Cathy!!!! :cp: :bravo:
|
Danielle- I was talking about PS, but know that I'm thinking I really want to see both of them. I could probably wait for PS to come to video, but I would love to see Atonement at the movies, they are saying it's the best love story since Titanic, and I LOVED THAT MOVIE!!!
|
Tina, me too! I could watch Titanic over and over again and not get sick of it. Much to the dismay of my family! LOL
|
Thanks for the encouragement girls! :) Tina I had to giggle at the goober at the GYM hitting on you! Some men are such dorks, LOL! :D
This is post #1001 for me! wooohoooo!:carrot: Anyhoo, just did the 2 mile WATP's and some strength training on arms, abs and chest on the ball. Got me a new one! Heading for the shower now, gotta condition my mop and shave and then have a pedicure. It's girly time. ;) Thinking about cutting a couple of inches off my hair. This pony tail is getting heavy and giving me a headache. |
Just wanted to tell everyone that I am doing good and going to weigh in tomorrow but I am down 2 pounds this week! I am going to go to the gym so will talk to you all later!
|
Good afternoon Red team!! I'm seeing lots of losing going on!!! You guys are amazing!!
Its been a BUSY day for me! Tomorrow my little one turns 9, and then my dh goes and says "oh this is the last year before she is a double digit midget" WAAAAAHHHH! My baby isnt a baby anymore! so anyway I've been running around like a chicken with no head trying to get ready because I put things off till the last minute! Wouldnt have been to big a deal but I had to sew her a skirt for her ice skating tomorrow. Was a much bigger chore than I thought it was gonna be! Anyway, I think I'm pretty much ready now! LOL! Its snowing!!! Tomorrow is weigh in more me, I'm excited! I still gotta make it over to the gym for the 3rd day of c25k for this week! Alright I'm rambling and its time to fetch the kiddies! Have a fantastic weekend everyone!!! Be good to you! |
Dont forget! Weigh in deadline is Monday 11:59 pm EST!
|
Hello everyone! I have been 110% OP for exercising and about 85% OP for eating haha. My trainer pretty much laid it out there for me that I need to eat on her plan or quit complaining, so come payday next week, I am only buying the allowed foods on her plan and am going to try it for 2 weeks and see if there is a huge difference. I need to try something else and lots of girls at the gym are swearing by her plan (pretty basic, just making sure you get in good carbs/protein/fruit/veggies every 2-3 hours in different combinations. My trainer did this herself and went from a size 12 to a size 4, and my gym buddy is already down a dress size so I guess it's just time to bite the bullet (no bread, pasta or cheese waaaah!) and try it out.
This weekend I am going to try to get in some mileage on the treadmill and also do some more weights, which I usually slack on during the weekends. I feel taking the weekends off is not helping. So a lot of changes going on over here! Tina sometimes men just need the rudeness...if you're in public and that guy tries to bug you again a nice and loud "Not interested" usually gets the point across (since you've already tried the nice route haha). |
Happy Friday!
I'm proud to say that I've stayed on plan again all this week. Had some ridiculous cravings, but did not cave. Woo Hoo! I weigh-in tomorrow morning. Keeping my fingers crossed! No matter what the #'s say, I'm proud of myself. :D |
Hi Ladies!
I really can't do personals because I haven't go the chance to be able to read the posts.... there are sooo many! I did however get to read the LOSER at the Gym story! Tina you were a lot nicer then a lot of people would be! What a freak! I got my TBL dvd finally yesterday... and I tried it out! I live in an Apt. On the 2nd floor and I felt really bad it was around 9 pm and there was a lot of jumping involved! Oh well I got a 5 min warm up 10 min cardio and 5 min cool down... ha! I am actually sore today pretty sad huh? I felt really sick afterwards which is weird i ususally never do? So hopefully tonight is better and I don't get sick again! GOOD LUCK RED TEAM! I have WI tomorrow and I will post that weight for Mondays Weigh in! Can't wait! |
Tina I forgot to comment about your experience last night. first of all how rude! Isnt it just gym etiquette that if you have headphones on you dont want to be bothered? Creep! But, your comment about the stinky girl next to you cracked me up! Reminded me of this time I went to the gym, before I had my own elliptical and I wanted to try them out, so i got on there, and the girl next to me kept passing gas and OMG! I dunno what that girl ate but it was so nasty! I kept looking over at her like...hello! I can smell that! She didnt seem to care! I finally just had to leave. LOL..oye!
|
Cat...you are doing so great!! Way to go!! I'm such a carb addict. I've done many the plan where I cut out all the bad carbs and its funny how quickly you stop craving them. But in the long run I go back to my carbs. I've decided that life is just too short to get rid of something I love, my issue is learning how to use moderation and portion control, and of course making it as healthy as I can too. You are gonna do great this weekend!! Keep up the good work!
LadyZ...cant wait to hear the good news!!! Way to go this week!!! Cecilia..that TBL workout will kick your butt! Especially if its Bob the lunge master! LOL! I hope you arent getting sick!! Take care of you so you can keep going strong! |
Just a quick fly-by to say hello to everyone. Doin' great (weigh in tomorrow) staying OP AND I exercised every day this week so far :)
Tina - sorry you had to put up with that jerk! There are some things I like about working out at home :) |
Just got off the treadmill and week 3 of C25K is complete!! Yay! Had a great workout and definitely need a shower.
So my scale broke earlier this week so I'm going to have to weigh at a friend's house. I do feel like I'm shrinking though- I LOVE that feeling!! Atonement is one of my all time favorite books- can't wait to see the movie. I'll check back in in a bit- I started this post this morning and forgot to post it, lol. |
Hun
Finally have the computer built, don't have everything reinstalled yet lol. I am going to try to get over there tonight and post all those min. Since the pulled hamstring it sometimes takes me twice as long to do the videos but I am only claiming how long it should take lol. |
Good evening red team,
Sorry I don't post as often as I'd like, but you guys are very chatty and it's so hard to keep up with posts and personals. I definitely didn't get to read all the past posts this week. Just wanted to post that I was on track with my eating and exercising all week and my weigh in is tomorrow morning. Wish me luck!! I"m hoping for another great loss! Everyone is doing great and I just found the results thread and realized that we won The Biggest Loser title for week one. WE ROCK!! Keep up the good work RED TEAM!! |
bella
I am on the " Rennie " plan lol. I allow myself 1200 to 1400 calories. I allow myself 30 to 35 grams of fat and I allow myself between 180 and 210 carbs. Was kind of nice when I found out the doc and the dietitian/nutritionist said they were great amounts for me. They even said I could go a bit higher if I wanted to. I want to average between those numbers for the week. If my weekly averages are high, generally never happens. Then, I make myself do without a few ( carbs for example ) for a few days ( generally 3 days don't want to drag it out to long ) until the averages are back to where they should be. Sometimes I am under, this happens when I just happen to pick things to eat for the day that don't have much fat or calories or carbs in them. I don't do without a thing. Heaven knows many of you know about my " mountain dew " times, lol at least once a week. I try to make sure I eat the required amounts of the four basic food groups a day and have a snack. Now come on a snack is not celery nor is it an apple lol. A snack is for example a can of mountain dew or maybe a weight watchers ( oh I love those things ) fudge bar or a sherbet bar. For me this isn't about doing without. I have nothing to binge on or crave or go back to. Everything I love is included in what I allow myself. I do make sure I watch portion sizes and if I have a snack today I have to wait until tomorrow for another. I even plan what I am going to eat for the day around a big snack like that can of mountain dew because there are so many carbs in it. My plan says there is more to being healthy than just being at a good weight. We also have to make sure the body is in good shape. I generally do a 1 or 2 mile walking/aerobic video in the am ( somewhere between 15 and 30 min ) and a 2 or 3 mile walking/aerobic video in the pm ( somewhere between 30 and 60 min ). Plus, 3 times a week I do resistance training ( about 40 min ). This doesn't take all that long and you can do all of it in the comfort of your own home while watching tv generally. Heck I watch the exercise videos on my computer on power DVD player and a movie or tv show on windows media player at the same time. I don't exercise on Saturdays since I do my shopping and laundry then and I don't exercise on Sunday. Sunday is my day of rest. No housework, no laundry, no exercising. Nothing but sitting around and vegging in front of the tv generally. This isn't a plan for everyone. You have to stick to it. You have to have will power sometimes. For me, now it is just what I do. I don't think much about it. I am just like everyone else. I have times I don't eat enough of this or that. I also have times I eat to much of this or that. It all works out if you keep track of things and sometimes just make yourself get back on track and do what you know you should be doing. Here is a great example. We are having my sons birthday dinner tomorrow. He wants hamburger gravy and whipped potatoes. My gosh the fat lol and carbs. It is going to take me three days of keeping both of them down to make up for all I am going to be eating at that dinner. I am not going to eat a tiny bit. If you are going to eat, you eat and you enjoy lol. I will not go hog wild but I am not going to have a serving size small enough for a 2 year old rabbit lol. For the next three days I will be kicking myself because it will probably mean no snacks and having to eat tuna instead of pork or beef. BUT I will enjoy the dinner with him and the averages will be where I want them. That is how life is; we sometimes have to give up something for awhile if we had something we really wanted. |
Bella
I don't know what everyone thinks of it but there was a formula someone put on the site here. I used it and it was pretty darn close to the lower end of what I allow myself. Since I was told I could eat more than I do, that showed me the formula was a bit off by about 200 calories but it was pretty close, I was surprised. If you want it I can post it for you. |
Kari
Nice going on sticking to what you planned when you went out to eat. I find that is the only way to eat if you aren't eating at home. Know what you are going to get and only get what you have planned. |
Question of the day
Had to think on that one. I reread the whole series Magic Kingdom for sale by Terry Brooks. I love that series; can't read it enough. Bet I have read the series once a year since it came out. I get on binges of what I read. Might start out with historical biographies and then move on to battles and then to ghosts lol. Never know what I am going to read next. I don't do much for myself. Hubby takes care of that. " Go get a hair cut, will make you feel good. Lets go get you some clothes. Do you need a new bottle of polish? I know how you like your nails to look nice." Have never been quite sure if he married me for my cooking or my long nails. He loves both lol. I am always taking care of everyone else. Might be why my hair looks like a Maltese, if he doesn't tell me to spend the money and get my hair cut, my clothes are 2 sizes to big, unless he takes me shopping, and I never go Thur a whole bottle of bath salts before I get more the next Christmas, I have started to use these at least every few days. Have to say my one big splurge for myself is my nails. They are long, they are hard and they get my time once a week for a manicure and a pretty paint job ( even when I ran a warehouse ). If I break one the neighbors can hear the kids yell RUN FOR THE HILLS SHE BROKE A NAIL. lol ksk Great going on the exercise Tina My daughter will never wake me up again staring at me. I scared her to death because I woke up with this face in my face and screamed and jumped out of bed lol. Now she comes into the door way and yells Mommmmm LOL. I do know how you feel. My gosh I can go a month and a half or two months with it wanting to start and not starting. All I want to do is eat something. I started tyeing a ribbon around the fridge handle when I am having days like that so each time I go to open it I see the ribbon and that stops me. I have already eaten I don't need to eat anything else. Cassie I think it must be going around. I just am getting over that. Not really sick but sick and feeling blaaaaaa. Don't want to eat when I feel like that. |
Counting
I do the same thing. Have a ton of books on tape and CD. Pop one in and do my workouts. Tina Sometimes we have to not be offended. Yes, I am married I love being married, yes, I have children. Let the attention make you feel good and then let it go. The guys at the shop where I have my oil changed are giving me the eye of late lol. A few comments have been made. They know I am married, they know I have children. Some of them are TWENTY years younger than me. Hey, I am going to enjoy it, they sure weren't giving me the come hither looks 40 lbs ago lol. The one guy about my age, with a great mullet ( OK I love mullets lol ) asked me very quietly what I was doing for the weekend since he knew the hubby would be out of town. I said cleaning toilets and taking care of baby hamsters would he like to help.
