Hey Melissa!
Sorry about not having the thread unlocked yet. Having internet issues at work! Going to get that done now :p |
Its okay, I'll keep checking but I do gotta go vote this morning before class so maybe I'll just PM you our numbers just to be sure they get posted! No rush!
And to the Red team: Just a few observations on weigh ins. If you previously took a freebie whether by choice or not getting your weight posted on time. If you post a weight on that week after the fact it still counts as a freebie on the spreadsheets. There were several people who had freebies last week and in week one (Chellez had marked them) and this week there is a weight in its spot. Its okay if you want to document it for yourself but just be aware that its already been counted as a freebie and we dont change them. When doing weekly weigh ins for the team I only take Week 3's weights. I hope that makes sense. Also, just so everyone is aware. If you dont ever post to your team and offer your team support, you will not be named as the Red team Biggest Loser, or over all loser. I think the other teams have this rule as well. This was the case this week. The person who was technically the biggest loser will not get the crown. IMO its not fair to give that title to someone who isnt participating with their team other than to post a weigh in, when we've got such an amazingly supportive group, those are the real winners! Now this doesnt count for those regulars who have a busy week, or internet issues. Trust me, your team knows if you've been participating with us or not! Okay off to do my hair and hit the polls! |
 the thread is unlocked now and blue's results are up.
Thanks for reminding me that I needed to post that rule that we talked about. Totally slipped my ever busy mind! |
G'day Teammies
I did my WATP 4 mile express/super challenge this morning and will do TBL power sculpt tonight, before TBL. ;) I went to look at the results, and was amazed that we've lost 7 people already. Laura~ glad that you found a good dinner choice. You can show us how to travel and stay on plan with food and exercise. :) Melissa~ have a wonderful presentation. Shy ~ :bravo: on your 10 mile marathon!! Everyone~ I hope you have a great day. I'll check in later. |
If everyone could please take a look at this thread
The Biggest Loser Title Information It's concerning participation and being recognized as the Biggest Loser. I just want to make sure everyone is aware of the new rule before I hear any whining! :lol3: |
LOL Chellez!!

Good morning all!
Jen – Congrats on being our biggest loser this week!! I think it’s great that your family could have the dinner conversation and resulting election. When I was young, science and history did not interest me at all. I was an A student, but I just didn’t retain the basic knowledge about these things that I wish I had. I’m politically challenged. We have a Jamaican intern this semester who was asking me about Super Tuesday yesterday at lunch. Wow – there’s a lot I don’t know. :o I am curious what kind of law you passed. Was it for your family or did it relate more to American as a whole? I’m sorry you lost your lawsuit. I hope it wasn’t something like suing your family to help more around the house!! Cassie – I know it’s frustrating to not lose like you think you should be. ½ pound is a loss. Congrats! Nicoya – Sounds like you are having some significant life frustrations. Hang in there! I hope you can get the phone bill and housing situation figured out. Laura – sounds like you're on track with your travel project. You’re doing great! Emily – great job on the running! You’ll be able to whip out a 20 minute run with no problem. I have faith in you. Rennie – great job on the 10 miles! That’s quite an accomplishment! Thanks for being our stand-up comedian yesterday! :D Melissa – good luck on your presentation. Thanks for setting up our challenge too. I think it will be fun! Cathy – great job on the exercise Roni – great job on the swimming! I don’t know how to swim and I really wish I did. Skinnyvibes – Hang in there. I hope you can beat the frustration soon. I love my exercise ball. I haven’t used it for a while. I should get that back out. Terapet – your smoothie sounds good. Great job on the running. That’s something I haven’t ventured into yet. Tina – Very funny about your son saying that he knows to brush his teeth and go to the bathroom before bed. I am 36 and when I’m at my parents house, my dad will still tell me to look both ways before I cross the street when I go on a walk. Oh, and don’t talk to strangers! My sisters and I laugh about it all of the time! Now about me: I had a NSV this morning! First a little background info. I am NOT a morning person. I am one of those obnoxious people who push the snooze a half a dozen times before getting up. It’s so bad that I set my alarm clock 20 minutes early. With my busy life (2 jobs) I just didn’t have the time or energy to exercise at night. I decided to stop the excuses and start getting up early to exercise in the mornings. I have been doing this since December. I have been pushing the snooze once in the morning. When it goes off, I push it again and turn a light on and have 9 minutes to get used to the light. Well, this morning for some reason I looked at the clock and forgot about the 20 minute early time. I hopped out of bed panicked that I was running late. I went to the bathroom and got my shoes on. When I looked at the clock in the living room it was 20 til the hour. I thought “Crap, the battery must be dying.” Then it dawned on me that I was up early. Instead of going back to bed until my usual exercise time. I popped in a 45 minute video (instead of my usual 30 minute video that I do in the mornings). Yea, me! :cb: Take care and have a great day everyone! |
So I'm a moron! Montana is only holding a caucus today, not a primary. So not voting for me LOL! And here I spent my morning flying by the seat of my pants making sure I had time to do it! Well it just prepared me for June!
I heard on the radio this morning that Rocco Dispirito(sp?) is going to be on TBL tonight. I love him! Dont ask me why, cuz I dont know but I do! I'm wondering how much of the show is gonna be preempted though. Today is also Mardi Gras! Karen...you cannot imagine how impressed I am with you and what you accomplished this morning!! I am NOT a morning person either! In fact, when i gotta get my dd up for a shower I get her going and go back to bed for 15 minutes LOL! So way to go this morning!! What an amazing NSV!! Cathy...you are rocking those workouts lady!! Excellent job! I'll post a list later on this afternoon but we are in jeapardy of losing several more of our teammates. But I suppose its okay, if they arent participating they just weigh us down. Have a fantastic day!! Emily...I cant wait to hear how you do on that 20 minutes!! That scares the you know what out of me! LOL...but if you can do it so can I so I'll be waiting for that update! You can do it! Jen...congrats on being Red teams Biggest Loser for Week 3!!! We may not have won overall this week, but look how close it was!! And thats with all our TOM issues!! Next week is our week red team!! Okay, I better stop rambling on and get to class!! Have a wonderful day! |
Good Morning everyone. I am really sorry that I can't do personals so much, I have 3 kids at home that I homeschool. I do try to read everything, but not always possible.
This week my personal goal is to continue with my walking and to get my step thingy out and do 500 step-ups (maybe while watching TBL?). I do hope that everyone has a wonderful on plan day! |
Mom23BC - it's great to hear from you when you can make it. Don't worry about personals. 500 Step ups - sounds like a great personal challenge! You can do it!!
|
Melissa - I really hope they don't preempt the show much tonight since they are having a 60 minute program exclusively for election results right after TBL.
|
Good morning ladies~ Well I made it through day one of my Joey being away from home, and I'm still alive:)LOL! I know he is having a great time. Last night Kev, the kids, and I all played a little Wii and then some guitar hero. I don't want to brag or anything, but I'm pretty good at guitar hero;) I didn't think I would like it as much as I did. I could totally be a rocker chick!LOL! Okay girls I need a kick in the arse....I said eating would be OP yesterday and it was anything but. I don't know what the heck my deal is. I did workout, but it was a very motivated workout. I didn't feel that high I usually do after a great workout. I feel better today, so I hope the fog is lifting and I can get my butt back on track. I know I can do this...I have to do this!! I'm going to make some homemade chicken soup today...this weather calls for soup. It's so gloomy here. The weather is very weird though. I was shoveling yesterday morning, and last night it was raining and thundering...in Feb. that is kinda unheard of. The weather is pretty warm today, but we're supposed to get some snow tonight. Today I'm just staying home and I plan on doing a Tae Bo video, those always work me good! I hope your all having a great week:)
Laura- 4 miles in 32:01 girl that is awesome! I walk about 2 miles in that time!LOL! I love spinach artichoke dip. I make a light one that is just as good as the full fat/calories one. You've been making great food choices...keep it up. I always have great intentions of exercising at the hotel, but I never seem to get to it!LOL! Your doing great:) Counting- I love Tae Bo....I always feel fantastic afterwards! He is really motivational also, I think. Cat- Great job on Bob's bootcamp...I would think looking at him while working out would be nice:) Nicoyaangel- I hope you have some luck with finding a place soon Jen- My oldest is 11, and potty trained my youngest about a year ago. Not one of my favorite things to do:) What a wonderful dinner conversation you all had, I think that's great that the kids are so interested in the upcoming election! Emily- Your rocking your way through c25K...keep it going girl:) Rennie- Great job on getting that walk in! You put me in the best mood yesterday after reading your posts:) Your a funny lady:) I would think hanging out with you would be a riot! Mel- Are we supposed to just post in the red team exercise challenge now or can we still post in both? I love the new rule. I know everybody can't get here as often as others, but there really is not point to be on a team if your never going to chat with us. I mean otherwise you might as while just write your weight down at home each week. I have a question...who the heck is Rocco???? Karen- Great job on getting an extra 15 min. in this morning:) I bet that felt good once your realized what you did! Mom23BC- You gave me a great idea...I'm going to pull my step out during TBL tonight:) Thanks~ I hope you all have a great day! |
Jen- I knew there was something else I wanted to say to you..how fantastic that your doctor noticed your weight loss. It is always a wonderful feeling when people acknowledge your hard work.
|
Nsv
Okay everyone.........I am so proud of myself!!!!!! Last night my sister was buying those hostess pies and I was going to get one till I looked at the calories and fat and it was 450 calories and 22 grams of fat:yikes: At first I was like it is okay I will just eat it then I actually put it down and remembered my team and that 1 minute of pleasure was not worth being fat :dust: I am happy now with my decision this morning and am getting better day by day to sticking with my WW points and thanks to all your guys support even though as good with posting as I am reading! You guys are the best
|
Congrats Utah
Looking at the calories/fat or something sometimes is a big help in deciding NOT to eat something. If I get crazy urges for you know a bag of cookies I total it all up in my head and think NO way that would take forever to burn off! It doesn't always work but sometimes. 450 calories and 22 grams of fat would be enough to drive me to find a 100 calorie pack or something. :) |
Happy Super Tuesday!
I went to vote today but the line was too long. Hopefully I will make it later but to tell the truth I don't know who to vote for. More then one candidate would be acceptable to me so maybe I let the more committed voters decide for me. (I'm not suppose to think that way, am I?!) Thankfully, I made it to the Y yesterday to run on the treadmill for 30 minutes. Today is the body strenghthening class after work. Food-wise I was proud of myself for ordering mixed vegetables instead of fried rice at Panda Express yesterday (no orange chicken either). It was actually really good although I kind of missed the rice. This lifestyle change stuff is tough! Karen-I was very impressed with your morning workouts. Way to go! Shy-loved your wish list. Your daughter sounds adorable. I only have one child at home now, a daughter also. My husband and I dote on her endlessly. She hates to go out to eat with us because she says we stare at her! |
Wow! I'm so surprised to be name the Red Team Biggest Loser this week! I never thought it would be me since I've seen such bigger numbers from other people. Thanks for all the congratulations!
Today is going well. I got up early this morning and exercised (which is important since last week I didn't do much exercise). Laura-- Great choice on dinner and way to go on exercising. I always have a hard time exercising when I'm traveling, so kudos to you. Congrats on doing your personal best in the race! Emily-- Great on the exercising. It's inspiring to hear how you are enjoying running. Thanks for sharing your progress. Rennie-- You did a great job on your marathon. What a great idea! I love that you are pushing yourself. So inspiring! Melissa-- I hope your presentation goes well today. Thanks for taking the time to name me the Biggest Red Loser! I'm impressed that you tried to be politically active today. :D Hee hee! I'll be going out to vote later today. Cathy-- You're doing awesome with the exercise today! Keep it up! :) Mom23-- Let us know how the step-ups go tonight. I may try that tonight as well. I'll let you know if I succeed. :) We're doing election day stuff for homeschool today since my kids are so interested in it. They have divided all the stuffed animals up into states and they are choosing delegates before the big election tonight. Nicoya-- I hope you find a place to live soon. I know hunting for a place can be frustrating. Good luck. :goodvibes Tina-- Glad you had fun with your family last night. I need to play a little Wii too. I've been so busy lately I haven't touched it. Last time I played was around Christmas time. My brother brought his guitar hero and we had a lot of fun with it. Go rocker chicks! Don't worry about being off plan yesterday. Today is a new day and it's OP all the way. You can do it! (I love all the smilies in your post. It's good to see happy faces!) Karen-- You are awesome girl! I probably would have crawled back in bed. That is totally a NSV! :cp: With my kids, our law had something to do with libraries. I only took it to court so my kids could see how a law could be ruled Constitutional or Unconstitutional. :judge: Now, you should have heard the campaign promises my kids were making during the election. They promised a new dishwasher that would load and unload itself. The only problem was that they couldn't explain how they would finance the research and development. Barbara-- Way to go on putting down the hostess! :cp: I used to live on those pies in college. But then I didn't have a car and walked everywhere I went. Terapet-- Great going on the exercise. I encourage you to go vote later today. IdealMuse- Hi and  to those I've missed! I hope everyone has a great OP day. |
Good afternoon red ream,
Yesterday was such a busy day for me. I stayed at school a little later to catch up on some lesson plans, then when I got home I jumped on the computer for a few minutes, only to check my email, I went to the gym for about 75 min and did my day 1 week 2 c25k and 45 minutes of strength - abs, thighs, chest and triceps...then when I got home I was going to post here but DBF had the lost episode that we missed last thursday up and ready for us to watch together. How Sweet! It was sooo good. I'll be sure NOT to miss it this Thursday. Tonight is my weekly, two hour cardio workout while watching TBL. Can't wait. Yesterday was my 38th consecutive day OP and i'm so excited. I haven't been on plan this many consecutive days ever. Today i'm 1/2 done with OP day 39.....and going strong. I can't forget to vote after school today! There are several things that ran through my head SBS when I was so tempted to go off plan: 1. I do not want to go from 37days OP and start all the way back at 1 2. I want to look hot this summer on the beach 3. I want to fit comfortably in my favorite Roller Coaster at Six Flags 4. I want to wear my hot fitted black dress for my Elvis gigs 5. What would I tell my Red Team about SBS if I ate all that? LOL Utahgirl: Woohoo! Way to throw the will power into high gear. Great decision and definitely deserves a carrot dance. :carrot: Jenn: Congrats on being the biggest loser! My time is up at school....I'll try to get more personals in later. Sorry! My students are calling me to do reading/writing. LOL |
Good afternoon ladies! Well I am not as frustrated today as I was yesterday. Having some issues with one of the mom's that I watch her kids. Not a good thing. It's snowing here, AGAIN! I am so ready for summer! I did do more yoga this morning, and my ball again. I am going to try to fit in another workout during nap time today. My scale is NOT looking good. Hoping it goes down before Saturday or I am not going to be helping the team at all. I sound like a complete downer today. Sorry!
Congrats on the NSV's ladies! That is so awesome. DH and I were going to get up early and workout this morning. But it didn't happen. I am bound and determined to make it happen tomorrow. Ok well it's time to make these kiddos some lunch! |
Hi Red Team Members!!! I hope you are all doing well today. I am so excited to announce that I started the C25K workout plan today!!! I survived my first workout and I even jumped on the elliptical afterwards for 30 minutes. Yay!! I use a HR monitor to workout and the jogging portion of the workout definately gets my HR up there.
|
Hey Red team!! I'm gonna issue another challenge for tonights show! Pick one or both!
1) workout during the show 2) assume the plank position for an entire commercial break! Its hard!!! go ahead and try! I know you can do it Red team!! and dont forget to post up that you tried! On a side note I'm going to try to do chair pose for one commercial break and plank for one commercial break. Plus 30 minutes on the elliptical! ~melissa |
<<<<<<<<< Is so jealous of the travel challenge you made Melissa.
|
I was thinking about bumper weights....
SkinnyVibes - Don't think I'm a wierdo for looking this up but apparently our BMIs are .3 away from each other right now. The reason I thought to look this up was because you had mentioned your bumper weight which you're at the edge of now and so am I. Cassie and I are .1 apart right now in BMI. Cassie did you have a bumper weight? I'm just curious because I'm wondering if this is a common point at which previously quite overweight bodies want to settle for awhile or if its just fluke. I haven't had a week that I was ON plan that I didn't lose weight at all until last week... and my bumper is about 220 so I'm sitting at that edge. Maybe my head is just playing games with me. :) |
Muse - that's an interesting observation. I'm curious too.
|
Barbara- Great job on resisting that pie...those things are loaded with fat...I think that's what makes them good:) Good for you though for not caving...I know that felt good!
Terapet- Choosing veggies over rice would be really hard for me, so great job on that. Also great run! Jen- Congrats girl on being the biggest loser this week :) Melissa73- I need to get back to some workouts like your doing....75 min. is awesome:) Also 38 days OP....WOOOO-HOOOO!!!! Keep going girl...I love all your reasons why not to stray! Kari- I'm with you girl, summer can't come soon enough! I hope things get cleared up with the mom. DK- Great job on finishing day 1 of c25k...I keep saying I'm going to try it. Melissa- I am going to try the planks during TBL...I think your trying to kill us though!LOL! Those things are hard, but I'll hold out as long as I can...also I'm going to be doing my step! |
Muse~ That's an interesting observation, not sure I would have noticed it. I am interested in the results of that as well. Wonder if there are any other "humps" to be had.
Tina~ thanks, I think we are getting things cleared up. |
Hi Red Team.
I was away at a conference all last week. Stayed more or less on plan and made it to the gym at the hotel. I'm SO tired, but happy to be home! Have a great week! |
Good evening Red!
Sorry to have gone missing for a few days, but I have caught up with reading. You all are doing SO well, I am so impressed and proud of each and every one of you. So we weren't the "biggest losers" this week, that's ok, it was this l l close! Despite the visits from AF everyone hung in there and fought on. I have to say, being away from the board for days really really reflects on my behavior during the day! I had a not-so-good super bowl day food wise, and yesterday was only so-so, a definite improvement over Sunday but still not where it should be. I'm finding that not only is it necessary to just read what everyone is up to, but imperative to post even if to just say hey,I'm still breathing. Something about that connection and reaching out........ Again, really thrilled with everyone's progress this week, you're all superstars IMO. Progress not perfection! Big congrat's to our biggest loser, Jen you're awesome!!! |
Utah - amazing job! Doesn't it feel so fantastic when you can resist? It's almost better than never being tempted at all!
Ideal - when people on my team even MENTION a food place (restaurant, coffee shop, smoothie place, etc), I have been immediately googling to find out calorie info. I now have a list of Laura-approved choices (meaning, the lowest cal items on the menu that still sound good) for about ten places near my client, so I know what I can pick when the team suddenly wants a mid-afternoon coffee or snack. LadyZaidi - yay for us traveling Red Team members! We're doing well :) This morning I had a quick 20 minute arms workout, using a few machines at the hotel gym and then some really light makeshift dumbbells in my room (water bottles filled with water and then I stuck them in glass coffee cups to give them more weight). I ate a heavy breakfast (460 cals - not out of range, but heavier than I usually go for breakfast) and a heavier lunch (510 cals - same comments), because on this project I'm so busy that I tend to want fuel during the day and then am not hungry at night. I was planning on just eating a light 200 calorie salad, so that's all I budgeted for. I also planned to watch TBL for an hour on the elliptical and then do some more dumbbells for the second hour. Unfortunately, I just got invited to go out to a team dinner at this really nice restaurant, and I really can't turn it down. So my new plan is to eat fairly lightly at the restaurant (hopefully 600 cals? So tough at a steakhouse!), walk the one mile back to the hotel instead of taking a cab, and then make SURE I go to the gym for an hour when I get back to the hotel at 11:30. I know I need to get up at 6 to work out, but hey, I can always sleep on the weekend! Tomorrow I'm going to eat very lightly for breakfast (140 cal packet of oatmeal that I packed), and for lunch (200 cal sammie at Quiznos and a 50 calorie salad), because I already know I'm going out for another heavy dinner. It's all about the planning! |
I just realized (yes takes me awhile!) that I cant watch the show tonight because I've got PTA! Which means I'll have to tape it, hopefully watch it tonight after the meeting. But that means I wont be working out during the show. But I will be doing plank...or trying to for a commercial break! And chair too!
Laura...we are having steak tonight! Actually if you get a lean cut its not too bad, can you put salsa on a potato? Thats what I'm doing. Planning is key and you are doing great! Keep it up! Danielle...I miss you when you arent around here! But, I know that you are right, when you (or anyone) isnt participating they arent holding themselves accountable and its harder to stay the course. Like you said, even if its just a hey! LadyZ...welcome home!!! sounds like you did pretty good in a tough situation! Have a wonderful week! Kari...I'm sorry you've got stress to deal with! I hope its all cleared up soon! No emotional eating, if the problem isnt hunger dont fix it with food! |
Tina....bend over woman because here comes your kick!! :club::kickbutt: You know what your goals are, and you know what you've gotta do to reach those goals. So it just comes down to asking yourself, what is more important to you, your goals? or going off plan? Only you know that answer, but i'm willing to bet I could guess!! LOL..I'm not trying to kill ya, just make us all lean mean losing machines!
Muse...you are onto something VERY interesting!! DK...way to go on C25K!!! And another workout after it!! WOOHOO!! thats a sure sign of success!! Keep it up! Melissa73...I love Lost!! I'm so happy its back but OMG I'm totally lost and confused already! LOL! Excellent job on those workouts!! 2 hours cardio! WOW!! Love those goals btw!! Tarapet...you are doing fantastic!!! Keep it up!! |
Hun
There isn't anything bad for us within reason. I have found I buy much better pieces of meat and at the same time, we are eating smaller pieces ( now eating a proper portion size ). Doesn't really cost any more than it did before because I don't have to buy as much. Laura Sounds like you are making good choices. Congrats. I remember when I first started doing dumbbell training. I was using to tea bottles. 16 oz filled with water lol. It all works. Danielle I have found the same thing. When I have days I can't be here ( doesn't happen to often ) I first, really miss knowing how everyone is doing and second, don't watch what I am doing quite as closely. Lady Nice to have you back and nice going staying pretty much to your plan. It can be hard when one isn't home. Spider You are doing so great. I am happy you are so excited. Kari You just keep with it. Most of us have times here and there that things are quite what we would like them to be. jl Nice going on the weight loss. I do things like that when I have nothing to do lol. Would be great to have time to do that every Monday. Ter I am finding I am ready to have the house just to my husband and myself. Now don't get me wrong. I have devoted my life to my children ( stay at home mom most of the time so they had 100% of my time if they wanted it ) and I loved every min of it. BUT Now is coming the time for me. Look forward to it being like it was so many years ago when it was just he and I. |
Just a quick fly-by tonight. It looks like everyone is working hard and staying OP! Way to go! I don't watch tv, but I will work out tonight and try the plank for as long as I can. :)
Jen - congrats on your loss this week! AWESOME!!!!! Busy day at work - another 2 hr delay for school because of the weather, and up to a foot of snow expected tonight. I'm thankful that I have my videos :) Another one arrived today (yes, I am still obsessed) - Kickbox Bootcamp - (from the 10 minute solution series). I plan to use it tomorrow after work. Has anyone tried it? I just LOVE the 10 minute solution series :D |
Just wanted to stick my head in and say hi since it's been awhile. Super busy over here with school and everything else.
Congrats to everyone on their progress so far. See ya, ladies. |
Popping in to say hi!! I think of you all throughout the day and wish I had the time at work to check in. They've had me actually working at work... What is that about?!
Yesterday I posted a 1 pound loss. I was hoping for more as Dot is now gone but Friday night I'm sure messed me up quite a bit for Monday's weigh in! Tonight I was hoping to go to Amy & Marty's bootcamp but we are getting a big snow storm and my hubby is not home yet :( Thursday I will be there! I'm ready to get my arse kicked in the gym, from what Marty said, it's pretty intense and a lot of people don't make it through the first one. Considering they have the TBL background I believe him! We'll see how Thursday evening goes! (just checked their website and they canceled bootcamp tonight due to the weather!) I'm sorry for not doing personals. I just had to skim through about 5 pages of posts and now can't remember who posted what! Off to watch Jillian talk about Calories!! |
Andi
You tell them enough is enough. They don't pay you enough for you to WORK. They only pay you enough to show up lol. Counting Never even heard of it. You enjoy, is so much more fun when we enjoy our workouts. |
Since it was a non-running day and I had a no loss last week I wanted to get some good exercise in today too, so I hauled up the bike from the basement and did 75mins while watching the biggest loser tonight. My butt was numb so I had to stop!
Scene - That's a great idea about the list of best food choices at the places you visit most often. |
Ideal
Nice going on the bike. |
I am done looking for a place! This second place rejected us also. So, I plan to take one of our fellow 3FC members advice and hit a CCCS place cause I am no longer paying credit check fees when I know its HORRIBLE PEOPLE!
Still working on the phone so I can have my own internet because this computer is always being used unless its midnight when my mom is asleep and technically I should be too. How is everyone doing?!?!?! |
My dinner went pretty well last night. Unfortunately it was a set menu, so I only had a few choices, BUT!
1. I didn't touch the bread 2. Only one drink with dinner, then had water (most people had 4-5 drinks) 3. Salad as my app instead of the fried calamari 4. Grilled sea bass with risotto as my entree, and I only ate half 5. Bread pudding for dessert (okay, I splurged there) But overall I did pretty well! Tonight I KNOW I have a team dinner, so I'm adjusting for it by eating lightly all day. So much easier when I can plan for it! |
