I had gained, too! And I was 1 pound heavier than my original weight a few weeks ago myself Don't feel bad, you'll be back down again before you know it, Chelle.

Oh I meant like I was the only one that had gained in the total weight loss for the entire challenge so far!

Well class hasn't started but I'm dreading it. I ate a cup full of cranberries earlier and now I'm gonna be running to the potty every 10 minutes!

Okay blue ladies...we all have things to deal with on this journey...but who can top this??
I am in my basement, working out to the Biggest Loser DVD, because my MIL is in the kitchen baking up a storm for our church bake sale. I am in the middle of my cardio when she comes down with a freshly baked, still warm scone with currents, and asked me to have it!!!! I am in the middle of jumping up and down, shedding calories, and she wants me to stuff hundreds of them back in my mouth!!!! Yikes!!! I decline, she offers to leave it on the desk for when I am finished! Is she blind??? She breaks off a tiny piece and gives it to me, so I put it in my mouth, compliment her on her wonderful scones, and then get on with Bob! Holy Cow! Now I am afraid to go upstairs because it smells so nice up there. Give me strength!

I like the Rapid Results 10-Minute Solutions. I like the Pilates best, and I HATE HATE HATE workout vids. This is the only one I have ever been able to live with.

As a side note, I have my THIRD case of the hiccups today. Not fun.

Hey ladies!

DH and the kids are both sick. I hope to get out for a run later. I have a casserole ready for dinner and just have to steam the broccoli, so clean up should be easy for DH. Did not get to work out yesterday. The kids did not even get dressed.

It is cool, but lovely here today. I am sure it will be dark (cursed time change) when I hit the street.

So first my 10 yr old Tess diagnosed with pneumonia Monday Nite @ Urgent Care and now 21 yr old DD Molly diagnosed with it this morning!

Hanging in there but its been another roller coaster of stress eating . . . let me OFF!

Was most inspired just now reading GirlyGS & soontbfc & fit08 & dea's Posts. I've struggled with depression myself GGSebas - menopause has intensified. Glad we're both taking steps to deal with it! Hope you're having fun in Minnesota!

I've also been inspired by rockin'robin but also by YOU soontbfc! That was just an AWESOME Post - wish I would have read it b4 stress loading on birthday cake & ice cream the other nite - your simple words on how 72 days of NOT having whatever is offered to you 'cause it's not "worth" going OffPlan for are just AWESOME to me - like a ton of bricks hit me when I read them! Tx!

Sorry to hear that you had a friend die SoulB! Have been amazed at your exercise achievements during this tough time! WTG! Glad you reminded me that there's 5 weeks left in this Challenge - determined to make them count!

And a Big Congrats to fitin08! 50 POUNDS! WOW!

MMmmmmmmm, liking the sound of "scones" dea! Good job on the miniscule bite of those suckers!!!

WTG on making it to the gym tina! As soon as my girls fall asleep - I'm headed there myself. Haven't exercised since Sunday. (Except if you count BLEACHING this Pneumonia Hole to Kingdom Come!)

I'm thinking dental phobia's (and phobia's in general) run in my family az! I've used logic to overcome a few that I have (elevators for example) . . . but takes some effort. Tx for explaining your GRE's (again) - super comprehensive! How you doing on all those applications you talked about?

Won't get to the gym sitting on this 'puter will I?

HI HO to all the rest of my Blue Team Buds - hope you're having a good Hump Day - ttyal!

Okay, I finally have a minute to get a bit caught up and do some personals. I've missed you ladies these last few weeks. I've definitely been less successful/OP lately, so it's time to get back at it. There are 8 weeks til New Years, and I will be 190 or less by then, darnit! I give you all FULL permission to kick my booty and yell at me for the next 8 weeks.

Soon2BFitChick - I am so inspired by YOU! You are so dedicated to making this work within the rest of your life. Tomorrow will be day 75, won't it?

GirlyGirlSebas - I hope the work trip is going well, and you're staying on top of things! I like your plan to fake it til ya make it, too.

chellez - Good for you for avoiding McD's! Your menus are looking good, too - yummy and healthy, my favourite! I think you made the right decision about WW, because it sounds like you're figuring out your own plan for success.

SoulBliss - sorry to hear about your friend. Congrats on your 4lbs last week!

fitin2008
- Congrats on 50lbs!! What an accomplishment. 2008 really is going to be YOUR year.

Azure - good luck with your GREs!

Dea - Oooh good on you for resisting the temptation from your MIL!

Onthetee - hope your DH and kiddos feel better soon! What's the casserole for dinner tonight?

aud - hope the girls' pneumonia heals up quick, I remember how awful my mum felt when she had it.

Utahgirl1982, CatsGetnHealthy, stranger n my mirror, lots2go, bella mia, denice81, NoVaVTFan, and Tina30 - hope you ladies are all going well and getting geared up for these last few weeks!

Hi ladies! How are you all? I'm so busy lately I hate it bc I can't get on here. I'm thinking of you all tho!!

It's TTOM for me so I'm up a pound, uggh. But it'll go away!!! Thanks for all your sweet comments. I'm glad someone likes my posts! I love reading all of yours too. Makes my day when I know others are dealing with these same issues. Not that I am glad you have to tho!

Yes, tomorrow is day 75, woohoo!!!!!!!! Almost to 100!!!!! This is a very interesting journey. I really can see what used to make me overeat, what moods, what triggers, the people who made me want to overeat, either with stress from their rudeness or with 'kindness' and trying to feed me, also times of day I want to, just all the reasons. You can really identify them and fix them with appropriate things if you stand back and watch it for this long. I have never gone this deep into it all. I'm loving it. And my clothes are so loose, some I've had to stop wearing. I'm learning alot about myself and hope to find the roots to how I got this way and how to stop it from keeping me heavy.

To our journeys of self-discovery. May we all be better people inside and out come the New Year, our year, the Great 2008!!!

Nite, see you sometime this week I suppose!!!! Go Blue!!!!!!!!

Evening, ladies. My scale showed an alarmingly high number this morning, and I'm hoping that it's just some retained water (I admit that my water consumption hasn't been the best over the last few days, and that my sodium intake has been kinda high)...but time will tell, I suppose! I had a really bad weekend food-wise. My GRE sent me on a junk spiral...I REALLY need to get ahold of myself when I go home for weekends/breaks. It's like there's a switch in my brain that flips when I make the 3 hour drive home...and it says "junkjunkjunkjunkjunk". I need to be able to find that switch and flip it back off when I go home. My new way of life can't be situational if I expect to maintain.

Love you, ladies! I'm so glad you're still here, being a support!

Morning Ladies!

Well the boss headed off for a lane closure and I'm in a reading mood today so I'm going to start this book by Amanda Ashley called A whisper of Eternity. I'm really big into sci fi romance, something about sexy vampires really gets me. I know.... I know.... you just have to read one to find out. They aren't like the gross scary vampires in the movies... they look like normal people.

Haven't gotten a chance to get on my scale lately but I'm feeling like it may be going down if only by a little. I don't know how I'm going to weigh in after the 24th of this month since I left WW. I guess I'll have to figure out the difference in weight between my scale at home and the one in WW.

I got all 3 of my biggest loser books so I can start their diet and exercise plan. I just haven't gotten around to reading the whole thing yet. Maybe if the boss stays away all day I can read those too! I make it sound like I never work! When winter comes and the work is really slow I'm going to love all the time I have to read my books and get school work done early.

Other than that I've been on plan now for 4 days. I'm shooting for 100 too! I've been keeping track in my fitday all of my calories. The meals seem a bit repeatative but its because of my crazy time schedule. Like we didn't even eat dinner until 9:30 last night But it was good! Of course cause I made it and didn't. Ooooo french fries. *SLAP* Enough of that now!

Well I better get to drinking this huge bottle of water and reading this book. Looks pretty seductive

Hi everyone,
I hurt my back on Tuesday. I think I jinxed myself last week by talking about going so long without injuries. Anyway I can't really do any exercise without pain so I'm eating lower calories and catching up on rest. So far I'm still losing. Anyway, I can't chat long because it hurts to sit but I wanted to pop in and say congratulations to everyone for our team win this week. Also congratulations to lots to go for being our week 8 biggest loser, soul bliss for losing the most weight so far, and soon 2 B fit for losing the highest percentage so far.
Team Blue - Keep it up!

Hi!!!

Thanks, fit. You are doing great too!

Az, I know that when I go home to visit it's so hard to stay on plan. I'm going there on Nov. 18 so it'll be fun to stay on plan and see what triggers it there! LOL. You are so swamped, give yourself a break. No one is perfect and when life gets so busy and you get stressed, cravings just tend to find us. Be strong, you can do it. Try to bring good snacks with you at all times, and not just veggies. I carry Honey Nut Cheerios for my sweet craving, lite popcorn with salt for that kind of craving, etc. The fact that you are still trying is the most important one of all.

Rhonda, how are you? How are you liking your new plan?

Aud -hope everyone is feeling better real soon

Cat- how are you doing?

Dea -Omg, mine makes only the desserts she knows I like when she visits, knowing I'm losing, I've asked her to make what the kids like, but that's ok, I don't eat them.

Denice, How are you doing?

Bliss -congrats on being our biggest loser so far!! and sry to hear about your friend

Tina, staying busy I see! As usual I know! How are the kids and DH and MIL, etc?

Practice, how are you?

Hiya to Lindsey, Tink (you are still with us right?), Charity, Sara, Rebecca, Nova, Utah, and everyone here!!! Hope your week is going well.

Been having a bad TTOM, lots of cramps, bloating, feel sore all over, just weird. Like they are getting worse. Uggh. But just will be glad when it's gone. I did weigh this a.m. Happy to say I'm now 213.5!! I was 216 all week bc of stupid TTOM. Hate it!!!! Oh well, that's just life. I want out of the 200s so bad I have tunnel vision. I'm going to get there b4 Christmas. I have a goal of 197 by Christmas day. Hope I see it!!!!

I love Christmas time and have decided to put up my tree a week b4 Thanksgiving. I know it will bother some of you and some people I know here but I can't help it!!! LOL. I love watching the lights dance at nite with the TV OFF and the kids either watching it too or in bed. LOL. I always love the tree. It has all our family ornaments on it, ones with the babies first Christmases etc. Just so fun to decorate, etc. Love love love it. And I want to have it here as long as I can so I'm adding a week. LOL.

Gotta run, babies going to doc. Hugs!!!! Selina

Hello ladies....I just wanted to pop in and say I'm still alive. We have a little family crisis going on, don't know how often I'll be checking in next week, but pray for us please.
