Hi everyone, just a quick check-in. I did a 90 min yoga class this morning then I didn't feel so great for some reason. I think yoga sometimes brings up uncomfortable emotions for me, plus my brother (who visited yesterday) had a cold and I may have caught it, ugh! BUT ... I did not turn to food! I had a nap instead, then ate my usual salad for a late lunch. Now I am making Chicken Puttanesca from the Sonoma web site, yummmmmm ...

Love - Good to see that you are getting some recognition of your hard work! And WTG on the workout!!

Angie - Last week I had AF and the same thing happened, but the pound I gained was gone by the end of the week. I'm sure it will be similar for you!

Melissa - 4.6 lbs!! I wouldn't be surprised if you are our BL for the week! Fantastic work

Shelby - Glad to hear you are having such good success with the IE method. It really makes so much sense ...

Erika....Hello!!!! Way to go on that workout! I'm sorry that it left you feeling not so great. They say that yoga helps to release toxins in your organs I wonder if that doesnt contribute to you not feeling so great as well. I certainly hope you arent getting sick! Thanks so much for the great support!! and keep up the excellent work! You are going GREAT!!

Hey Melissa, you are right. I think toxins could well have been released along with the buried emotions in my system. I hope that the good eating will help me not to get too sick. I have been taking Vitamin C every day as well. Thanks for that insight!!

I hope everyone had a really great Saturday! Mine was low key and uneventful which was nice, despite the taxi service I had going for a better part of the afternoon! lol

Girls thanks for the welcome, it is really great to be here! Yes, Mel and I are best bud's and I am serious when I tell you how lucky you all are to have her leading this group. She is AMAZING!

Love, I am so glad the dr appt went well. Its always nice to get the kudos from them, esp since many of dr's seem to have no idea how we struggle with weight loss! Good for you for getting that walk in!

Erika, I'm bummed to hear that after such a fabulous workout you weren't feeling well. Wonder what that was all about? I'm glad someone can do yoga, it is just not my thing at all. Maybe it's because I don't like all the feelings it conjurs up? Good question! Your dinner sounds yummo, hope you liked it!

Karen, best of luck to you on your WI in the morning. I am sure you will do great!!!

Melissa, there is no doubt in my mind just how much you'll be cruising! Once you get going, there is no stopping you!! Watch out girls!

I have done pretty a-okay with food today. I didnt get that workout in like I'd wanted but I'm fine with it. Tomorrow's a new day and I've absolutely nothing to get done or go to, so looks like Bob (BL dvd) and I have a date! I can't wait, it's been so long since we've seen eachother! LOL

Hi Karen!!....I'd say I'll keep my fingers crossed for your WI tomorrow, but I bet you'll see some great numbers and you dont even need my extra wishes!!! Let us know how it goes!!

Danielle...I swear you are the ONLY woman I'm okay with Bob cheating on me with! LOL!!

Just got back from taking the girls to the park, I read my book while they ran around. I just love where I live! I love watching families playing soccer, baseball or just chit chatting watching the kids. And now its time for baths and a movie. My dh is playing in a charity poker tournament so its just us girls tonight. I hope everyone is having a great Saturday night!! And I REALLY hope we all have RED WINS days tomorrow! We can do it!!

Just posted my WI # and I am down 5. I was very excited and then all of sudden I had a panic moment. Has anybody started to worry that once you've started to lose that you can't keep it up? This is the first time I have REALLY felt motivated and I just don't want to lose that motivation. This challenge is such a great thing! I just don't want to let the team down. You all are such a great bunch of people and very encouraging. I want to smack myself for not being happy about the loss...

Don't worry, Karen! Probably you won't lose 5# every week, and I wouldn't be too surprised if you maintained or only lost a little next week as your body gets used to the big change. But if you keep at it, you WILL keep losing and reach your goal ... it's just a matter of time!

Hello everybody,just wanted to pop in quickly and say hello. Just read the challenge for this week and it sounds awesome and challenging.
I've had a strange expereinece this time around with my weight. I am expecting TOM today or tomorrow and I ususally gain a pound or two in the first two days but than I lose it by the end of the week, but what scares me is that this week that just past I keeping gaining and losing the same pound, so I pray that by tomorrrow weigh in if I get my TOM i won't gain...we'll see.
Well today is beautiful outside, and although I have tons of housework I do plan on enjoying my family and weather today.

Love - You're workout sounds awesome.

Angie - Don't you hate TOM I do....can't wait for this week to go by. I am sure by the end of the week you'll be down...you are doing great.

Melissa - 4.6 lbs!! THat is unbelievable...wish some of that wonder dust on us!

To the rest of our wonderful team I am sorry I can't do personals to everyone but I hope you all have a wonderful day and stay on plan as we can do this!

One more thing before I sign off--- I want to say THANK YOU to Melissa for all her fantastic work!!!

Sara -- I had that last month...I gained before TOM and then expected to lose it the next week, but nope, I struggled with that 1-2 pounds far longer than I wanted. I'm just praying that's not going to happen again this month. I need to see losses to keep me motivated!

Karen....WOOOOHOOO!!! 5 lbs gone! Way to go! All your dedication to yourself is paying off! Weightloss is a hard hard battle, and 90% of it is mental. One of the best things you can do is to journal your thoughts about your weightloss and work them through. AND have a great support team which you have in us!! We'll be there for you thick or thin, you could NEVER let us down(well unless you disappeared, I'd hate that LOL). I know you can win the war! You are doing GREAT so far!!! Keep it up! Congrats on a fantastic week!

Sara....that scale can be an evil evil thing, playing games with your mind I swear. Try not to put too much stock in the numbers, you know you've been doing great. When the numbers on the scale frustrate you, look to measurements and how your clothes are fitting. But, no matter what that monster says...keep up the good work!! Enjoy your beautiful day!
