What a beautiful evening. I had a concert with a choir tonight and I walked to and from the hall, 20 min each way. Loving the extra exercise.

Danielle - WTG on your workout!!

Sara - I know what you mean about TOM, but just keep on the wagon ... those pounds WILL come off eventually!!

Melissa - thanks again for the challenge. My biggest challenge is going to be finding NEW stuff to do ... but I'll keep trying

to everyone else and I know that this is going to be a great RED WINS week!
cheers

Good evening Red Team!! Just closing things down for the evening and off to watch Celebrity fit club. Its been a weird day for me, tons of homework...which means alot of stress, but luckily just one more and no more assignments for the year!! Now I can focus on studying for finals. Eating was REALLY off for me today, I didnt overeat anything just no regular meals at all, just grabbed something when I felt hungry. Not a RED WINS day for sure!! But tomorrow is a brand new day and I'm gonna kick butt!! I'm busy busy with PTA and dr.s appointments after classes so no time to be naughty!

Okay I'm rambling....and my show is on...I hope everyone had a GREAT weekend!! Lets make this week even better than last!!

Erika...way to go on those walks!! You are doing so fantastic girl!!!

Hahahaha~

Hi guys! Sorry I've been MIA, my weekends tend to be really busy!
Sounds like everyone is doing GREAT and that is FANTASTIC.

I on the other hand.. Well, I'm a daily weigher, and Friday I jumped on the scales and I was down to 171. Which is lower than i have ever been. I was so excited It wasn't the official weigh in day, so I didn't count it, but of course used it as an excuse to drink and eat whatever I wanted this weekend with out exercising. This morning my scale read 179. I know that I didn't actually gain 8 pounds of fat, but I feel gross, and all I can think is now why did I go and do that...

O well, today is a new day, and I'll just be extra super good this week, and I'm sure by official weigh in, I'll be down and have something semi-respectable to post.

Happy Monday everybody!

Amber, I know exactly how you feel! I was out of town this weekend and went way off program! I am up a couple of pounds (luckily, I already posted my weigh-in before leaving). I know a lot of it is water (I am sure MOST of yours is water), so we can get it off this week! Let's help keep each other accountable and motivated to exercise!

I have a 5K on Saturday, so I am only going to run once or twice this week, and will probably walk once too. My time at my last (and first) 5K was 37:56, so my goal is to beat that! I really want to do it in less than 35 minutes (I know, still pretty slow, but really good for me!). So, I need to get a couple of training runs in this week!

No RED WINS for me yesterday either Melissa, but I will get it today. I did get a couple of the letters though, but not many

Have a great Monday everyone! I will try to post more personals a bit later, but you all were a chatty bunch while I was gone and I can hardly keep up! It is so great to see everyone excited and participating! I LOVE IT!!! GO RED TEAM!!!

Good Monday Morning RED TEAM!!!

Amber....welcome back!! We missed you! I've got 2 words for you....water retention! I'm glad to see you realize you didnt gain 8 lbs...can you imagine what you'd have to do to gain that much? Back on track, drink that water and move move it'll be all gone before you know it!!

Charity...Good morning!! Welcome back to you too!! The same thing I said to Amber goes to you too! Back on track, drinking that water!! 5K this weekend...wow!!! You'll get that RED WINS today...me too!!

Charity I'd love to have someone keep me accountable for exercise. I'm so bad about doing it. 35 minutes is an excellent time for a 5k! I've been running regularly for about a year, and that's about the pace I run, so I think that's super excellent that you're only on your second 5k and that's your goal time! WTG!!

I have a half marathon this weekend. And I'm going to DIE! Well, not literally, but it is not going to be pretty. I haven't run over 6 miles yet, and I'm supposed to do over twice that on Sunday. psssh, yea...

I'm going to try to do 10 today. But I'll need to find the motivation. Do you intend to run today? Any body else intend to run/walk today?

Amber, I am getting ready to head out for my run right now! I am going to do a "practice" 5K. I will also walk a little to warm up and cool down, so I will probably do a total of around 3.75 miles. So, you better get out there and do your run today! 10 miles is a lot! Don't overdo it, and it is ok to walk some if you need to. I always think it is better to just get the miles in even if you walk some. So do your 10 miles, just don't hurt yourself - you want to be ready for that 1/2 this weekend!

I will let you know how my run goes and I expect a report from you too. Oh, and don't feel bad if you can't go the full 10 miles, you are increasing your mileage by a lot!

Goodluck on your run!

Yea, it is a big jump, but I figure it's better to do 4 mile jump today, and a 3 mile jump Sunday, than just a 7 mile jump on Sunday.
I haven't quite decided how I'm going to handle Sunday. I could either run as much as I can (~8 miles I would guess) and then just walk when I feel I need a break after that or have a specific run/walk ration set up (run 5 minutes/walk 1 minute/repeat) or if I should just do the run/ walk thing from the start.

Any thoughts?
