  • Okay, I'm using a pass this week -- I need to regroup I haven't been much help but I promise to get my act together this week and get back in the game

Hope everyone has an awesome week
  • Hello, all you hard working ladies! I read all the posts and everyone is sooooooo busy, and yet still trying hard to get healthy. It is very inspiring.
I am sorry I don't post as much as you all do, I love to keep up but I get behind sometimes......but I am here with the team.

I am helped to stay on plan when I read the words of encouragement given here. Everyone is in the same boat, yet paddling with their own oars. It is exciting to watch what is working for different ones, such as Fat Smash, as you who are trying it post your results with it. Some are having great success with Sonoma Diet, WW etc. It is like a big experiment, and we are the guinea pigs, huh? But in the end hopefully we will ALL reach our goals.

I don't have a Chik Fil A near me, and from the sound of it that is probably a good thing! It sounds tempting....

I am really proud of the weight losses being posted, it is fantastic to see the group losing as a whole! The weeks I haven't lost or lost very little, you all picked up the slack!

Well, anyway, everyone have a great week, keep strong and lose!
  • Hey everyone! Just popping in really fast to say hello. I counted my weigh-in today as my official weigh-in for the week (down 2.4 lbs!!) because I think that I'll be leaving a little later to stay at my parents' house. I'm getting a little bit of cabin fever being cooped up in my apartment alone with three cats. It's better for me over there anyways... I have a pool to swim in, a large kitchen to cook in, and best of all... human contact. Haha. I love my fur babies, but they really don't help much with conversation. My parents are getting back from Las Vegas very late tonight and from what I hear, it sounds like they had fun. They don't really gamble much, although my dad did win $500 from a slot machine and my mom won $51 in poker, so they decided to quit while they were ahead (I think from all they lost they ended up only being $180 up). Most of the time they spent wandering around the other resorts and going to shows. They saw the Blue Man Group and Cirque de Soleil's Love. My mom kept talking about how all of these young, gorgeous women were hanging on these ugly old men and how they must be hookers... haha. Anyway, I think I'm going to head down to my apartment's office and pay rent . See you guys later and good luck to all of you who haven't weighed in yet!
  • Good Monday Morning Red Team! I've been such a bad girl....SUCH a bad girl! And the scale slapped me with it this morning. Not that I didnt know, I can feel it. I HATE feeling this way. It all ends today. Its rediculous! I've got a plan and darn it I'm sticking to it! I have exactly 12 weeks till I go back to school, plenty of time to lose a big chunk of myself.

So, I apologize for letting the team down with a gain this week. I know that it means I'm gonna have a big loss for next week, but thats not the point here. I'm also going to rack up a ton of miles for us this week too.

Lindsey is doing so great! Isnt she inspiring! You can just feel the enthusiasm and dedication to herself in her posts.

And its really good to see wannabetiny posting! Almost to your drivers license weight...you can do it!!

Time to get the house up and going! Have a fantastic day Red team!! Dont forget to get your weigh ins posted today!

  • Good morning everyone!

Well, last night my ankle started hurting a little and this morning when I woke up it was really sore (feels like a sprain!). I have no idea what I have done to it, I didnt' even workout this weekend. I hope it is feeling better soon so I can get a little exercise in before I leave for St. Louis on Thursday!

Great loss Lindsey! I am with those that didn't do too hot this week. Moving forward....
  • Happy Monday Red Team!!! Sorry to have somewhat abandoned you all this last week, things really got away from me. I worked alot of hours on top of trying to get ready for our trip to CA. We left Wednesday and just got back yesterday around 6pm. I am beat!!!! It was really nice to see family and I got to meet my brand new neice, she's gorgeous! I had been really worried about the food situation at my moms house, well, it worked out in the end because we stayed at my sister's house so the only time I was at my moms really was Thurs. & Sat. I didn't overdo it too too bad but enough where I took a pass for weigh in this week because I'm so unsure. I did manage to rack up a few miles for our team tho so i am pleased with that!

I haven't read the thread for the past few days so I don't know what's been going on, must catch up! I did glimpse the new ones from today tho! Charity, I hope your ankle is feeling better, it sounds ouchie! Mel, new week new beginning. You can do this!

Alrighty, well its time to get to that humungous pile of laundry and clean this house! I have today off from work and then work the next 6 days in a row, so..........
    Be good ladies!! Stay strong!
  • Hey there Dani!! I missed you terribly! I'm really glad to hear you had such a great time! Dont you just love coming back from a trip...NOT!

Ugh, I made my lunch too spicy! I like it spicy but not that spicy!! Its not even enjoyable to eat. I suppose thats a good thing. My plan isnt exactly going the way I'd thought today but still good. Eating is right on. But I was gonna eliptical and stability ball while I watched my soaps, well the upstairs tv went out this morning so I did lawn work and grocery shopping instead. its amazing how busy you can keep yourself without that stupid box running! That thing shoulda went out a long time ago!

Okay rambling....have a wonderful afternoon Red team!

  • Hello all
Sorry to have been MIA-my Dh and I dropped our kids of with my mom, so I was out of town. SOooooo needless to say, I have some free time on my hands. So I have been racking up the miles. My friends couldn't reach, but she said she knew I was doing something "sporty". My plan is to get my house spotless, and exercise as much as I can. With the kids gone, this should be doable. So far, DH and I have gone on walks and I've been to the gym twice. I am going to reach my BL goal if it kills me. Only about 11 more pounds to go.

I will come back and do personals later, but I just wanted to check in.

    1. What plan have you been following the past 6 weeks? I am still doing Fat Smash for the most part, but I have been reading the Hollywood Trainer Diet book lately.

    2. What exercises have you been doing the past 6 weeks? Mostly walking, especially if the weather is nice. Today I did some water aerobics and it felt GOOD!

    3. What is something you've accomplished the past 6 weeks that you are really proud of? Just staying commited even when I fall off, and not getting discouraged.

    4. What would you like to work on for the remaining 6 weeks? Portion control and not giving in when I know better. (Peer Pressure)

    5. What song gets you fired up and ready to be a fitter and healthier you?
Ok Don't laugh....Eye of the Tiger by Suvivor (makes me feel like Rocky) and get my Body by Beyonce'

    3. What is something you've accomplished the past 6 weeks that you are really proud of? Not giving up, even when I gained one week
    4. What would you like to work on for the remaining 6 weeks? More exercise and water

  • Hello everyone! I have had a rough week and will be leaving for a short vacation tomorrow afternoon! I don't know if I am ever going to lose any weight for this challenge!!!

    1. What plan have you been following the past 6 weeks? Well, I am suppose to be following weight watchers, but I haven't really been doing much of anything! Only following the plan about half the time.

    2. What exercises have you been doing the past 6 weeks? Mostly running and walking, but not nearly enough!

    3. What is something you've accomplished the past 6 weeks that you are really proud of? I guess I am proud of the fact that I haven't completely given up. I may not be losing a lot of weight, but I am also not gaining a ton. I have mostly maintained my starting weight, and that is much better than gaining!

    4. What would you like to work on for the remaining 6 weeks? I really need to work on staying on program and exercising regularly - so basically everything!

    5. What song gets you fired up and ready to be a fitter and healthier you? Hmm, not really sure. Maybe "Pump It" by the Black Eyed Peas...
