I'm fitting into my size 10 jeans really well and I want to keep on doing so. (OK, they're from Old Navy, so I know they're a big size 10, but I'm still loving it!)

My reason for doing this is....feeling better! I just want to feel better!
1. What plan have you been following the past 6 weeks? LAWL , since January 5th I believe, and loving it I must add!
2. What exercises have you been doing the past 6 weeks? I was doing my elyptical and recumbnent bike, but just this wek I switched to Slim In 6, Beachbody DVD Exercise Videos.
3. What is something you've accomplished the past 6 weeks that you are really proud of? Staying on program, although I've been through some rough times in the last few weeks.
4. What would you like to work on for the remaining 6 weeks? I am trying to start toning as I find I have alot of loose unwanted skin now....I would also love to be able to loose more quicker.
5. What song gets you fired up and ready to be a fitter and healthier you? I have so many favourite songs, I'd be here all day.
Hello all,
I know it's a late check in, but i just wanted to say hello to everyone. It's been a rough couple of days even without the kids. I've not had any motivation to go to the store or to cook, so Dh and I have been winging it. But when I got on the scale this morning I was actully at 171. I am not going to record that on the weigh in thread, cuz I am shooting for 170 by Monday.
Well I got my classroom decorated, almost, for VBS. It's an underwater theme and I must say I felt like i was drowning when I left. I am sooo tired. i am trying to get my behind up and go for a walk. I had Taco bell today so I need to do something.
Melissa - You've been such a great cheerleader throughout this whole challenge. Remeber to cheer for you too. You are worth getting healthy for and you should make you a priority. I have always said that people who workout are a bit selfish, and I think you have to be for good reasons.
Ann-Good job getting the I am on plan going. I love your postive attitiude.
Wanna be-Doesn't being healthy feel soooo good. To walk the stairs without huffing a puffing. Or just knowing that you are putting good things inot your body. That feels really good.
Bella Mia-Keep up the good work on LAWL. And don't get discouraged if the scale doesnt' move as fast as you want it to. It didn't find a home on your hips overnight, and that darn fat just doesn't know when it's worn out it's welcome.
Well I am on plan today because I am almost to the 160's. When I get there we are going to have a cyber party! Although I did eat fast food, I made a pretty healthy choice and it was not one I would have made prior to beginning my journey.
Ok gotta get myself moving. Need to do at least 30 minute walk this evening.

I'm still here!!! I know I don't post much, but I'm still putting along!!! I've been mowing the lawn for the past two weeks -- with the push mower, bagging and dragging all the grass too!! I walk right by the ride-on mower and get my little push mower going!! I've been shoveling dirt into new flower beds we've built and all kinds of physical stuff. At first I hated it but now that I've forced myself to move -- it's been really nice!!
I do get kind of intimiated here -- there are so many wonderful people chatting, I feel guilty I can't take the time to keep up and say "hi" to everyone -- but do I get credit for checking in???

I have I might been eating LIKE CRAZY. like ridiculous. And not exercising. I think I might actually be down this week. Crazy. I feel awful though.
Good Sunday everyone!!! Its raining AGAIN! But the girls and I did take off for awhile and get in a very nice bike ride. Kinda makes up for all the movie watching we've been doing as it pours and pours.
Love....oh trust me I'm my own biggest cheerleader. I think you are right though, we do deserve to be a little selfish. I dont know about you but I'm sure as a mom you give and give and give just like I do. And you HAVE to take the time to take care of yourself. If thats being selfish then so be it! If you dont take care of you, you cant take care of anyone else!
Shelby....oh please dont be intimidated!! Trust me i would rather you stop in and give us updates than not say anything at all. We are a team, and we want to hear from you whenever you can. We are all working together towards the same goal so we gotta share in whats going on, otherwise its not really a team, its just individuals. People get busy and maybe dont have time for the little chit chat stuff, thats totally understandable, but theres always 5 minutes to tell a teammate good job or you can do it! Plus, it does yourself good to take a minute to say whats going on with you....lets you reflect on what you are doing right and what you can improve upon. You never know when a little snipit in your journey can inspire one of your teammates. So keep on popping in when you can!
Amber....I feel awful too, what do ya say we take the next few days and turn that around!! We can do it!!

I want to wear cute clothes. Superficial? Yes. But it is my motivating factor today. I tried on some things in my closet yesterday and they actully fit. and they were loose. I could see where I'd worn them before and it had those line from being too tight. But they were loose. So I am headed off to work out and to eat healthily today! No cheats!

Hello everyone! I am so far behind, so I am not even going to attempt personals! I will do it next time though!
My mini vacation was nice, we didn't lose too much money at the casino boats And, I didn't gain a lot either. However, I didn't weigh in for last week, so I am going to take a pass for the week.
I am super swamped with work this week, but I will try to drop by each day to check in a see how everyone is doing!
I dont think wanting to wear cute clothes is superficial at all. I think its just having and showing respect for yourself and others really. Pleasant appearence is an aesthetic for everyone.

I've been up since 4am with gall bladder issues so since i've got my hooligans off to work and school I'm going to go lay down for a little bit. Its one thing to be up that early, its an entirely other matter to be up that early and in pain.
We are still quite a bit down from the Blue Team in the miles game, but we are steadily gaining on them!!! Let's kick it up a notch this week and try to gain a few extra miles on them!
