    Hope everyone has a great day. The sun is out here (right now, anyway) so I'm happy.

    Lindsey, hope your period starts soon. How frustrating to have to "wait and see."

    Well, I'm staying on plan today because I just realized that I am actually the weight it says on my driver's license. What a liar I was when I filled out that form even back then!
  • Good morning Red team!! Sorry I was MIA yesterday. It was the last day of school for both my girls and I spent most of the day with them at school finishing up PTA stuff and their classroom stuff. Then once we got home they took over the computer! Kids!

    We did however get out and get a nice hard bikeride last night. Now if only I could get the eating back to where it should be I'd be golden.

    My reason for doing this.....I graduate next may, and darn it I wanna look good for it!!!

  • Ann....LOL! I had to laugh about lying on your drivers license. Does anyone have the real weight? I sure dont! Oh to be there though!! Way to go on reaching that goal!!

  • Hey everyone! Well, TOM arrived today, so I will probably have a gain this week BUT, I still make myself go for a walk/run today, even though I felt bad and my back hurt!

    Sorry I don't have much time to write more now. I hope everyone is having a great week!
  • I'm here! I'm here! Sorry to go MIA again girls....but sheesh, I feel like I never get a moment to myself these days! Work has been hellish, big debate on whether I am quitting or not, so lots of stress there! Other than that I have been journaling alot to try and get my spirit back and keep fighting the good weight loss fight. I deserve to succeed and be happy and why on earth would I let myself fail?! So today I woke up excited for a new day and another chance to do this thing right! More exercise is the key for me!

    Seems like most of us are struggling with some aspect of our plan, but NOT GIVING UP! That is the key. You can see we aren't gaining and most are going in the right direction, just maybe not as fast as we would like.
    So if it takes a little longer than we wish, so what? If my scale wasn't heading downward it would be sneaking up, with me pretending my clothes weren't too tight.....so keep it up girls!
  • Dropping in quick before I head out to work. Where is our team!?! We've only got 1 month left ladies, let's finish on top, shall we? Speaking of....not done anything really to help the team this week for weigh in at all! I mentioned at the beginning of the week that I'd gained 2 but missed weigh-in so took my last "freebie" so while that helped out I guess in a way for last week by me not 'counting', this week all I did was lose the original 2 I had gained...so back to the same as before... *sigh* oh well, at least it wasnt another gain, right?!

    Wannabetiny, you are so right about us all just keeping going and not giving up. I am most proud of myself for that at least. Heck, I could find myself on the couch with some ice cream and some chips if I'd allow it! LOL But I won't, I refuse to give up! Its great to see you here, keep up the good work!

    I'm off to a really good start for this next week and that has me real excited. Planning on concentrating on exercise this week for sure, I know that will be the clincher to seeing a fantastic loss. Keep your fingers crossed for me ladies!

    I hope ya'll are having a great weekend and can maybe find some time to drop a line or two to let us know how you are--good or bad, we just want to help you and cheer you on!!

    Its been a pretty lazy weekend around here. Keeps threatening rain so we've not been out bike riding.

    Just a suggestion for the strugglers (and yes I'm one of them floundering but I'm turning it all around tomorrow) How about getting out a notebook and write down what you were doing when things were working, what were you doing when you were on your game and dropping the lbs? Go back and revisit your success!

  • Good morning guys, I am here still striving! Happy Father's Day everyone! I have to say I thought Father's Day was last weekend , so we already did our major celebration and I'm going to be doing housework/gardening/menu planning today. Hubby did not tell me I got the date wrong until after he got his gifts/dinner last Sunday, and he thought the whole thing was hilarious!

    I already rode my bike this morning and just had a smoothie with fresh peaches and some frozen raspberries for my breakfast. Everyone else is still sleeping, and I'm enjoying this quiet time. I had a pretty off plan day yesterday, as I bought ginormous muffins "for everyone else" and then ate one, then ate ahem "several bites" of my daughter's lunch at this little Mexican place when we were out shopping ! I was only going to have a diet soda because I wasn't even really hungry, but Mexican food is one of my favorite things. I didn't go too far over in my total calories, but I def got too much salt. I already have my food planned out today, so I know I'll do better.

    Wow, only one month left to go, that's hard to believe. Hope everyone has a great day, and keep on keeping on with your plan!

    Ann, your Father's Day story is cute! It totally sounds like me, in fact, I thought Father's Day was NEXT week so I haven't planned out a thing! I was at work last night and around 9pm I realized it was today! LOL Needless to say, DH wasn't surprised that I got the dates wrong (so like me!) and wasn't upset.
    It sounds like you had a really good day with your family, and yum-o I LOVE mexican food! Have a great day and keep on keeping on, you're doing fantastic!

    I am considering buying the Biggest Loser 2 dvd but I'm unsure. For one thing, the other trainer, Kim, drives me nuts! lol I wanted to get something new, maybe inspire me to get excited about working out again. Maybe this isn't the one to get. Any suggestions? Or if you have the BL2 dvd is she as annoying as I think she'll be on there? LOL

  • Danielle....I have the BL2 dvd! Kim does the workouts for women and Bob does them for the men. I've done Kim's workout and she wasnt that bad, it seemed to go by really fast and she worked me out good. I've not done any of Bob's workouts. I think the warm up and cool down is all with Kim too, but I could be wrong its been awhile since I've done it.

    Ann....girl you are just rocking and rolling today arent you!! I love the energy oozing off your post. Makes me want to make good choices today too! That is so funny about Fathers day at your house!!!

    Well after a rainy lazy weekend I was hoping to get the girls out and doing something fun today but it looks like another wet one! I'm really missing our bike rides.

    Melissa, that is a great idea about writing down what I was doing when I was losing weight well and staying on program. I have thought about this and it is already helping me!

    Ann, that is such a funny Father's Day story! I am glad your husband didn't give you too much grief over it!

    Danielle, I also have the Biggest Loser 2 dvd. I have a couple of comments about it. First of all, it is not anywhere near as good as the first! However, some of the workouts are good. Most of them are really short though (like 10 minutes), so I always have to do many of them to get a good workout. But, if you only have a few minutes, it is nice to have a 10 minute workout. I didn't think Kim was too annoying, but I also did the "men's" workouts with Bob and thought they were really good (and fine for women too). Let us know if you get it!


    Well, I have had a good day thus far. I decided to go straight out for a run/walk this morning and did it! I really need to start working out in the mornings right after dd leaves for daycare, this will really help me to get it done. One day down!

    I can't believe how fast these weeks are whizzing by now! Feels like the deeper we got into this challenge the faster it went. Yikes! I hope you all are planning on doing another one? I think it would be fun, and hopefully by then I will be well on my way to losing consistently, finally!!!

    Ladies, thanks for the info on the BL2 dvd! I think I am just too entirely faithful to Bob and the first dvd that I have 'issues' with Kim. LOL She probably isn't all that annoying and it's just in my head like some jealous girlfriend! HA! I was however very intrigued by the Yoga Booty Ballet series! It seems like that would be doable. Even for a chubby girl like me. Looks like alot of fun!

    Good grief, my DH is such a sucker for anything "new" in the grocery store!! Drives me nuts! Now he came home with these new Cocoa Krispies cereal straws. WTH?!? For one, he knows I love this cereal but am "being good" and he comes home with it! Argh!! He loves new stuff and will give anything a whirl once, especially soft drinks, energy drinks & cereal. I give him credit though, he found my beloved Diet Coke Plus way back before it was put out everywhere, and I LOVE LOVE LOVE this stuff! But man, he is bad for my waistline when he does this! LOL

    I hope you all had a lovely weekend and are ready to rock 'n' roll this week and shed some weight with me! Let's make this a fantastic week and kick some butt! Shall we? You know you want to!!!!
