12 minutes on the bike... personal total: 260/250.... so I finally made my goal for a month... I may be setting it too high for October, but I did most of this exercise during the last 2 weeks of the month, so if I keep getting a little in daily I should be able to do a substantially more than 260 in October.

Group total: 20,549 + 12 = 20,562

Group Total... 20,562 + 60 = 20,622

Woo hooo .. did it! Friday I did my Richard Simmons 60 min workout, walked 20 minutes ... so total 80 for Friday ..
Saturday I thought I wasnt gonna make my target! I only did about 35 minutes of walking and felt pretty tired a lot of yesterday .. but last night I got this weird burst of energy and I did Richard Simmons again! 60 minutes ...
Friday total - 80 min
Saturday total - 95 minutes
Total - 175 minutes!!!

My total: 650 + 175 = 825/800 - 25 minutes OVER!! (happy dancing!)

Group Total: 20622 + 175 = 20797

Katt -- WTG getting over goal!

For me, the biggest factors in setting these goals is that it keeps me accountable and it pushes me to stay on track. I'm often needing a "big day" at the end of the month to keep the goal, but still, I'm close and have been doing it all along!

Anybody else for September?

Me, me don't forget me.

Well I have 138 minutes to add... I was 105 short of my goal which means I am really disappointed in myself as I am so competitive I usually make it. But the bad allergies AND the loss of my outdoor pool have really set me back this month. But oh well... hey 1395 minutes of exercise is STILL a BIG accomplishment and far more than I used to do!

Group total 20,797 + 138 = 20,935

Well, I did it! I came home last night after dinner and walked for 53 minutes while watching some episodes of Lost. That brings me right up to my goal of 1200 minutes! I am glad I did the extra yesterday, but I am a bit sore today.

The group total is now 20,935 + 53 = 20,988

Wow -- so many of us are just short of or just making our goals.

It makes me feel that this is WORKING. We are pushing ourselves!

Anyone else??

Well I had a total of 979/900 - passed my goal by 79 minutes!! Onto October now...I'm really gonna try harder and break 1000 again like in August!! (Although I don't think I'll be doing the amount I did in August anytime soon, lol) See you on the October thread, ladies!
