Thanks Scarlett! It totally was the blow of getting to the 140s then going right back up. SUCH a milestone for me and then taken away. But all of you are so motivating, I'll be back on next week
Congrats to Scarlett, Caitbeth, Jumelle, Petitefleur, and do the robot on all of your awesome losses this week. Hope I didn't miss anyone.
And I agree with Scarlett, whether you show a loss or gain this week we're all still here posting our weights and plugging away. I think that is pretty awesome in of itself.
Sorry for all the posts, I keep remembering things. I changed my goal on my ticker from 127 to 122. Now that I'm about ten pounds away I feel like it won't be enough. I kind of feel like 122 won't either and that I'll need to go to at least 117. But then I think is that even enough? Am I totally going crazy?
I'm at 230 this week. Down 3 pounds from last week and only 1 pound away from my 12 week goal! It's been such a long time since I've seen anything in the 220s range!

Omgosh! Is that even possible at your size?! Holy crap! Can't be mad at TOM if you lose 10lbs the week after!!!! I'm in shock. Congratulations! The 170s were the hardest for me to get out of. Until now, my new nemesis is the 150s. lol!
CW: 150-The same as last wk. At least I didn't gain this time and it is TOM and it hurts like h3ll.

Thanks Paloma.
You're both right. We all deserve a pat on the back for continuing for 12 weeks.

You're not crazy. I wonder the same thing as I get closer to my goal weight, but I think I'm going to shoot for 120 lbs and tone. Given my height, that should be enough.

What do you mean by "Is that even possible at your size?!"
I totally forgot to post last week! I've been crazy busy traveling with work so my schedule is off. I've been trying to stay on track with my eating and I've been squeezing in workouts as much as I can but it's hard when you're basically living in a hotel. I've pretty much been maintaining the past couple of weeks which is frustrating but at least I'm not gaining a ton. It is my TOM too so maybe I will see a loss in a few days after all.
I'm sad that I won't meet my end goal but I've been realizing that this is more about adopting a healthier lifestyle and sticking to it even if you do fall off the wagon at times.
Congratulations to all the "losers" everyone seems to be doing so well
Whoa now. I didn't mean anything other than u are a small size and that 10lbs a week is huge for a person who weighs twice what you do. I meant it as a compliment
I love this thread so much. I just went back a few pages looking for something specific. Reading the posts of everyone congratulating and encouraging each other just make you feel warm and fuzzy. I know the chart looks a little spotty, I send out a ton of PMs to the missing members urging them to come back. Next week I'll delete people if I have to.
I'll just bump this up because I edited my last post and put the new chart up. Today I weighed 196.4 which is EXACTLY 20 pounds from the start of the challenge. I got to finally update my new ticker. Today I went running for the first time in nearly 2 weeks. Between sunburn and TOM I lost a week then kept making excuses for not starting up again. I did OK and hope to get a few runs in before my 5k next weekend.
Belia - You are a pound away from the 5% star. It's so great to see you doing well after a slow start. You've stuck with it and now the pounds are comming off.
themilesawaygirl - GREAT job on your first star!! You didn't give up and should be proud of yourself.
Looking at the chart, everyone who is still weighing in has at least one star and is under their starting weight. I think this challenge has definitely been a success. I know it has helped me stay motivated!
