UGH TOM. This week I saw 197.2 one morning, my lowest number yet. Then bad sunburn + heat wave = misery and no running. I ate off plan but not terribly for the 2-3 days this went on. Just as I was starting to feel human again, TOM came yesterday. I squirmed like crazy trying to get the scale to read 199.9, but it didn't happen.
I can't complain though, yesterday I saw 202 something, so the bloat is going down. I have PCOS and missed my last period. It's a good thing that it came. Also, my biggest loss in this challenge came in week 3 after TOM came week 2. Hopefully the same thing happens this time.
It just sucks to see the 200s again I've had several gaining weeks throughout this challenge and I know it's going to be fine. The accountability and support in this thread makes it alot easier to not get caught up in this stuff and move on. Thanks Guys!!
I haven't weighed this LOW this WHOLE YEAR!! WOOO HOOO! I KNOW I'm in my groove now, and not getting out of it! PLUS my TOM started yesterday, so something is really weird with that weigh-in this morning, as I should have gained!
FINALLY hit the 140's!!
This feels sooo good! You don't know how long I have been wanting the 140's....Seven months and 21 days to be exact.
You know the picture of the pink dress i posted earlier about a week ago here as my inspiration dress? Well, I had to return it because the top part was too big! I'm getting smaller and I didn't even notice it! It was a size 8 petite at Banana Republic. I tried the size 6 petite and that one fit well on top, but a bit tight on the bottom, so my thunder thighs need more work.
Scarlett--Part TWO of this 12 weeks to take off made me so happy and excited that we may be doing this again! I am so IN if you can do it again too! I am sure many of us will want to keep going.
You are such a great girl and inspiration. Look at how much we are losing every week! Thank you! THANK YOU!!
I'd like Part 2 to be something like September - November. Maybe the title could be something like "12 more weeks to take off, surviving the 'eating season' together" That time of year requires a little extra accountability and support. I know I'll always be a "fat person at heart" and any excuse to eat junk (ie October fest parties, Halloween, Thanksgiving etc) usually results in my @ss getting larger. I also decided I don't want to have goal weights in the chart for the next one. IF someone wants to just maintain and needs some accountability that’s fine.
Also we can keep the thread going during the gap if people want to post their weights and stay accountable. We can do this even though the challenge will be technically over. I'm attending a wedding 1.5 weeks after this ends. I will definitely want to stay OP up to the wedding and not pile the pounds back on after a night of drinking and cake.
Smurfles - I haven't taken you out yet. Glad your back!
Blondie160 - I haven't taken you out yet either. If you want to continue weighing in you can. I'd certainly like to see you back in.
FassGal - I'm dealing with a TOM weigh in too. ONEderland went bye-bye. It sucks TOM fluctuations are not worth getting caught up in though. Next week will be awesome!!
Belia - congrats on the 140s . You've been hanging tough and now the scale is moving. It's so great to see. Once I hit the 140s I may attempt a cartwheel.

Your reasons for doing the Sept-Nov are the EXACT reasons why I went from 133-148 last year! Oct. Fest, thanksgiving, christmas, parties, mixers. I didn't realize that this was why I gained until you pointed it out! Seriously, I wasn't watching myself, just having fun at my low weight (130's).
Anways, I agree with your ideas about the chart, the goal weight is irrelevant but something we can keep in mind in our own 3fc signatures or post on the thread as we start the new 12 week take off. You are such a great person!

Warning: Long post ahead. I am just really annoyed.
Tomorrow is my birthday. Normally we all bring food in at work on people's birthdays to celebrate. They get to pick the theme and everybody pigs out.
I already feel kind of weird about turning 25, and I was stressing about also gaining weight because of the birthday. I went drinking to celebrate last night and am doing dinner with the family on Saturday. The last thing I needed was to eat off plan on Friday too. So I asked my colleagues to skip the food day as it would just make my birthday worst not better.
So yesterday my co-worker left early and my boss mentioned that she hadn't wrote down what food she was bringing. So I reminded her I didn't want anything. She got kind of snippy with me and walked away. That's when another co-worker told me that when I was at lunch she told everyone that she didn't care what I wanted and to bring food anyway. A few minutes later she came back and threw my birthday card on my desk and announced to everyone in a very loud put out/annoyed/just plain mean voice "Did you hear that? Don't bother bringing anything for her." The way she said don't bother especially was really mean. Like I was a horrible person for asking everyone not to bring food. After she walked away my new coworker who started last week was like "Wow, that was rude." before she could even think not to say it about her boss.
So it put me in a really bad mood that I had to consciously try to shake the rest of the night. I also got a frosty greeting this morning from her. Everyone else understood and was okay with my decision. And I feel like I didn't do anything wrong. It's my birthday, and a bunch of food staring at me all day long is not really something I want to have to deal with all day as I wouldn't be able to eat it. Or, I would give in and feel bad. Or people would want me to taste what they made and I would say no and feel bad. On other people's b-day I still bring food and try to control myself, so it's not like I''m refusing to partake in general. Just this one day.
Sorry i didn't make it on here yesterday my weight is 186LB
sorry again, ill wait til next week if necessary.. unbelievable great 2 months with events and gathering, my loss is suffering big time also my guilt is starting to wain a bit too... but have a hen party tomorrow, so i am gonna try my hardest to have a good week starting Monday..
Hey Paloma, I'm sure that the office drama will blow over. It seems like the majority of people understand. I'll bet your boss is having other issues that this situation brought up. Her outburst probably has very little to do with you. Sort of like someone who had a bad day at work and takes it out on the cashier at McDonalds.
I know a bunch of us turned/are turning 25 soon. Ish's B-day is this weekend too. Mine is 8/20. I'm feeling weird about it too. I can't believe I'll be 25 soon. It sounds so much older, like I should be more put together by now.
Happy Birthday, Enjoy it!!
Edit Curlysue - I just put your numbers into my spreadsheet. I'll update the posted one later incase anyone else comes in late. We're missing more people than usual, hopefully more of us come out of the woodwork.
