I know I'm late, I'm sorry! I've been out of town with no web.

CW: 211 If I can still get added to the list great, if not it's no problem! Sorry!

I am late too, so sorry! Life has been crazy the last couple of weeks and my weight loss is suffering. I'm so sorry ladies, but I am back on track today and will be back down to where I was in a couple of weeks. Hoping some of today's weight is water...

CW: 167.2

I hope you are all doing great!

I'm going to fix the chart later today. I'll add the late people. I'm just happy you're not all "missing."

I'm down to 203.4 this morning. After 2 weeks of hovering around 204-205 it just feels great to see the scale go down. This is the lowest number I've seen in awhile. ONEderland, here I come!!

Sniperhill - Good luck running. I don't have kids but I imagine that would make it extra difficult to get exercise in. Enjoy being able to go out running and being able to take as long as you want. Also congrats on dean's list. Hopefully I'll be back on it again this week. I've been looking around online for party dress ideas. I can't wait!!

I took a few pictures of myself and I've noticed I lost alot in my arms, face, boobs.. and almost nothing where I really want to. And the worst part is my fat got really loose and jiggly and looks so gross I've heard that this happens before you really lose weight but I don't know. I just don't want to go to the beach like this. How long does it take to tighten up again?!? For a day there I was actually happy to look at my thighs now everything is just sagging and shaking and just doesn't look right..
Just venting I'm sorry..

I fixed the chart. Congrats Buttercup85, great week!

Khat - I'm sure its frustrating. Reguarless, I'm sure you look better 20 pounds lighter than where you were. I've personally been really nervous that my boobs will be saggy when I take the rest of this weight off. I keep telling myself I'll look much better at 150 with a good bra than at 220.

I found this on google, because one day I was very curious why my hard fat was getting jiggly, it seems true to me. MAYBE it will mak eyou feel better having that extra jiggle! I sure don't mind now!

"Hard fat is fat that hasn't seen a good deal of blood circulation in a loooooong time. The fat tends to settle nicely and gets relatively hard. Remember fat needs very little maintenance so the body doesn't bother providing much circulation to the tissue. It's therefore common for people that haven't had much exercise to have hard fat (or rather, it's just firm). Once you start getting plenty of cardiovascular exercise however your circulation improves dramatically. Your body needs to open all the capilliaries at the surface of your skin to get the blood moving around. This means capilliaries through subcutaneous fat. So as you get fitter, your fat turns more jelly-like (it's quite nasty, trust me ). However, it's a great sign. The more blood vessels going through your fat, the more readily your body can access those fat stores and the healthier your body is becoming.

It's all the same stuff, but the soft fat is the one that's disappearing and the hard fat will just hang around."

Thank you! You have plenty of time to find the perfect dress too. It's nice to be able to get excited about clothes! I just recently introduced colors into my wardrobe, I can appreciate how they compliment my skin bc I'm not just wearing black anymore.

Khat

Don't worry. If you keep following a healthy workout and eating plan, you will notice the jiggly fat slowly go away.

Thanks for all your support. I know I should just keep doing what I'm doing.. It's just annoying. People around me eat whatever and still look great and I work so hard for months and still don't look half as fit as they do. It's not like I never worked out in my life before. I'm very athletic. My body just won't let me show it (the lower half) I think my messed up hormone levels and medicine aren't helping either.. What about some cream or lotion to make the skin look nicer? I know it can't magically eliminate fat but maybe make it appear more tight? Any suggestions?
Buttercup I've read some similar articles that this is a good sign but I'm still worried it won't go away as soon as I wish for.. I guess I have to just wait and see.
Scarlett I can imagine that saging could be a problem if you have nice boobs to begin with. Mine are practically gone But I have a friend who gained alot of weight while studying abroad and got huge boobs in the process. She came home, lost the weight effortlessly and her boobs are still there. So you never know unitil you lose the weight

Thanks Brianalee123, Scarlett and Sniperhil for the encouragement. I did not eat at work! I ate dinner at home and went to bed. Tina Fey did not upset me further and was so funny I almost cried with laughter (that rarely happens; I think it happened because I had to stifle my laughter.). All ended well.

FYI Sniperhil, there is an IF challenge going on in the Chicks Up For a Challenge section of the forum.

Brianalee123 - thanks for sharing your regimen! It sounds tough but you'll do it and I look forward to seeing pics of your transformation

Scarlett - a wedding will provide motivation. You'll look absolutely fabulous, I am sure!

ugh this may be TMI for some of you girls also struggling with eating so be warned! I am having a hard time staying on plan. I want to eat pizza, potato skins, chicken fingers, burgers, french fries, pasta, tacos, baked potatoes, hibachi, CHOCOLATE MILKKK all these amazing things. i hate my mood right now-its just saying briana eat all of this right now! haha. ugh. I have been staying in saint louis for my weight loss journey thus far (3 months) and am going home on July 11th-and i know a lot of people say its wrong. but i am going to give myself a free day every 10 days once i get home. I have worked hard, but i don't want to live my life afraid of eating the foods i love. I feel if i have one free day every 10 days for the rest of my diet, and learn to maintain throughout this process-that i'll be ok. anyone else have free days? also-the scale is moving this week and I am happy-two more days until weigh in and dare i say i'm a little excited?? stay strong girls!

Aggie -I'm sorry, I'll fix that soon.

Brianalee123 - Hope the move goes well. I personally can't do "free days" I am not capable of eating trigger foods in moderation. Eating them makes me crave them even more. I do much better if I just keep indulgences to once in a very short while. If they're not around me, I don't miss them that much. I also have a really hard time getting back OP after a day or 2 off. If you can do a "free day", not go overboard and get right back on track the next day, you should be fine. Though, the way you seem to be driven crazy by cravings, makes me think it might not be a good idea. Good Luck.

I've been a little down in the diet dumps lately too. Really for no reason though. I just bit the bullet and went back on South Beach phase 1; therefore my diet is much cleaner. My running has been going great and the scale is moving (though I've had a few slow weeks). I think I just didn't get nearly as much done today as I wanted to, am feeling bad and just want to eat something.
