Are you guys finding the Cardio X to not be that intense? I feel like I was breathing harder and sweating more yesterday with the Core Synergistics dvd...and I am miserably sore today.
I was kind of disappointed that the bulk of the Cardio X dvd seems to be yoga...not that I could do all the moves though. Maybe if I could do all of the yoga moves in the Cardio X, I'd get more of a "cardio" feel going?
I think the cardio X dvd is my fave... I like the heisman jump things, and the lift lef over stool things... Anyways, at the end of it I'm generally sweating like a pig, but that might just be me.
I like the abs one too. I usually look forward to those 2 the most.... And the abs one is less than 20 mins! Woot!
I definitely liked the end of the Cardio X dvd - the heismans and the leg over the stool was difficult, but the beginning just didn't get me sweating. But like I said, I couldn't do a lot of the yoga moves - I can't go from a downward dog into the running position, so I had to stand up from the downward dog, then step into the runner...so maybe that was my problem?
I am miserably sore from yesterday, so maybe I didn't push myself like I would have either...hmmm.
I know right where Avon is, I was up there for a wedding in July!
And I got my DVD's on eBay for about $40 + shipping!
And the cardio X, I think the begining is just to get you going. I'm sure they also want us more flexible and the yoga helps with that. I can't do them all, and I stop and change too. But I'm sure the more we all do it, well all get better!
I've been busy at work with all-day training, so I haven't gotten to post much.
I completed day 5 this morning, woohoo!
Because I have horrible flexibility and balance and was concerned about injury, I substituted the plyometrics dvd for the yoga dvd yesterday. It was a really good cardio workout!!!
I'm looking forward to the kenpo dvd tomorrow, not only because it looks like fun, but then I'll be done with the first week!!!!
OMG, doing p90x and remodeling a kitchen is NOT a great idea, .
Doing good though. Glad yesterday was a rest, boy did I need it. WHEW. I need to get into the groove of doing it every day. Some days I'll get home and start making dinner and TOTALLY forget till like, DH calls and says he's on his way. So I need to make myself remember to do it RIGHT when I get home, because making dinner can wait, I can't!
I won't let DH start it until I'm done, because he wants to do it WITH me, like at the same time. I'm a work-out-alone person... He can do it, but not while I am. So I hid the disks and he will have to wait if he's going to be nuts about it! I got up early to do it on Saturday before we started to tile and he got up too and tried to keep up. Sigh. I had to stop, I couldn't concentrate!
My husband is still doing it, but he's doing the classic version, and, I have to get up an hour earlier than he does to get it done. So he actually likes sleeping in an hour later, and then doing it on his own.
I finished week one! Even did Saturday, which is a major accomplishment. I did it again this morning, so I'm on track! I'm planning on adding in cardio in the evenings now this week.
I am going to start tomorrow.
My boyfriend is doing the classic programme. I have been doing some of the cardio stuff with him and loving it!!
Very excited!
