Don't you hate those days when you wake up late, get in the car and are half way to work when you realize you forgot your lunch? Damnit!! Oh well...at least subway is close so I do have that healthy alternative...BTW Good Morning!
i had a day exactly like that today. we're in the same boat. there's a subway close by my work, too, but i had subway for dinner last night so i'm just not feeling it. there's a grocery store around with a pretty righteous salad bar, though. so i think i'll hit that up.
I had Subway last night for dinner too!!! I am on my own for dinner tonight too, so I am not too sure what I'm doing for that yet. I'm pretty sure I still have one of those Perdue chicken breasts that are individually wrapped, so I'll probably have that with some salad and carrots. We'll see though...
It's almost lunch time and I am starving!!! My stomach was growling earlier today, pretty loudly too. One of my students who I was helping with math homework was laughing at me! haha
Off to get in my 35 minutes of exercise... hope everyone is doing well.
After my workout, I'll have to decide what to eat for lunch. I hate being indecisive on these things. Figuring out what to eat always becomes a process.
YAY...I finally did it...on my lunch break I went out and walked for 1/2 an hour. It felt so good...it was actually hard because I don't normally go walking outside so it wasn't flat, but that is good. Then I went up to the grocery store and got a salad from their salad bar...yay for good spinach wit yummy veggies and 2 hard boiled eggs. It is really the egg that makes the salad! Hope everyone is having a fantiastic day!!!
I don't have much to eat... and it's still very hard to choose what...
My NP told me I have to work out an hour most days to lose weight and I thought that was a bit ridiculous... An hour 5 days a week or something? I can't even do 15 minutes.
I know the feeling of not being able to exercise for an hour a day...I barely made it for 30 mins today, so I figure that I will start this week with 30 mins a day and then add 5 mins every week...until I can work up to it. You will get there, and I honestly don't believe that you wont lose any weight if you aren't doing an hour a day. When I was on weight watchers...I wasn't doing anything and was still losing weight. Stick to it Artie...you'll get there!!
So do 15 minutes and work up from there. Don't beat yourself up because you can't do an hour like she said. And if you do 15 minutes of intensity, it's better than one hour of say just walking... You've already lost 10 pounds and every pound you continue to lose I assure you it will get easier! You need to stay positive, cut back on how much you eat and what types you eat. and try to get in a 10-20 minute workout at least 4 times a week! Working out will get easier.
you guys are good--getting your exercise in in the middle of the work day even. i had 2 astronomy tests today so a lot of my work day went to studying for that. i've got another accounting test tonight so in between work and my next class i'm going to be studying for that. not to mention all the finals that start next week. OH MAN, HOW AWESOME.
but after my test i plan on going to the gym and restarting the c25k program. i only did 2 days of level 1, but i feel like they were too spaced apart to matter. i also wanna do the 30ds tonight, too.
so, when this semester is over my gym membership is also over until next semester, which is like...a month away. i've got the 30ds and i plan on trying to do it every day in december, but i really like the c25k program and i wanna keep going on it. except i don't want to run outside because it's cold. anybody got any ideas? except maybe running in place or in circles? because i already feel like my downstairs neighbor hates me from doing jumping jacks for the 30ds.
Lets make this our week! We are strong! We are beautiful! We had all our members accounted for FIRST this week. Way to go, girls! We lost 3.3 lbs as a team this week. Some teams gained over 5 lbs this week! True to my word, I will be wearing pink every day this week. I'll be documenting this on my flickr. Lets be sure to get in our 30 minutes of daily exercise! Even if you do the shred and then dance around like a lunatic for 10 minutes to your favourite album!

I got my exercise in today! We had a staff meeting after school today, so I didn't get home until almost 1.5 hours later than usual. I actually didn't go to the gym, but I did walk to the local elementary school's track and walked/jogged around it. I did that for a total of 45 minutes. I am also currently about 200 calories under my limit, so I might have a small snack before heading to bed. I can get my exercise in during the afternoon because I am home from work by 2:30pm every day.
I've been making sure to up my water intake this week to hopefully flush out some of the leftovers from last week. So, I've been heading to the bathroom like crazy all day long! haha I'm looking forward to the big makeover reveals on TBL tonight though!!!
