Beth - Sounds like the wedding was really stressful. But at least you looked great in your dress! LOL

It's hard to stay on plan when you're away from home, especially for a wedding.

I was home and the holiday weekend did me in. We helped move my step-son into his new home and then cooked out. I was way off plan and am now back up to 197. But we will get back down.

I don't think we have a Coldwater Creek store in my area. I've heard of it, though. Don't they have catalog sales? I'm having such a hard time buying clothes because my belly in so out of proportion to the rest of my body.

Elvis - Good job! You will be waving goodbye soon!

going2bskinny- You have lost almost 200 lbs! Way to go! It makes me feel so guilty since I'm having trouble losing 10!!!

The doctor was quite pleased with my weight loss. When I told him the constipation problems have gotten worse since I started dieting he was concerned I was on some whacked out diet, but I assured him I was just calorie counting, and that I aimed for 25g of fiber every day--my system just wasn't working.

So, I'm to take 2-3 tsp of Miralax every day and start with 2 Citrucel tablets, both of which can be increased. If I don't see improvement in 2-3 weeks, we'll try an (expensive) prescription that works for irritable bowel and ideopathic constipation.

I had a colonscopy 3.5 years ago, so he didn't tell me to get another one (thank goodness). He also told me to stop taking glipizide (one of my two diabetes medications) since I told him my morning fasting blood sugar was 71 this morning--and that was typical.

He'll re-run the bloodwork in August--6 months after my last set--and I may even get off more meds at that point!

I didn't like the scale at the office showing 202--but I was dressed and had had breakfast, so that's not too bad.

198.6 this morning, so I'm heading down again.

Miralax is totally disgusting. I'm going to have to figure out a way to endure it. The citracel pills with 8oz of water are much easier!

Work is going to be slow today--the system I need to use is down--which makes it hard to get anything done. I'm also anxiously waiting until I can sleep in Sunday morning and be totally rested. Saturday I have to get up early--DD the younger is graduating from high school.

I need to do some shopping for gifts for my girl scouts--there are 5 of them (4 plus DD) and I'd like to get them each something to take off to college with them. I'll have to think about that--any ideas for anyone? I'll probably spend $10-15 each. I don't want to do gift cards even if they're practical.

Down a bit more this morning--197.2. However, I hit 194/195 two weeks ago so my immediate goal is to get back there.

I'm going to measure out and force myself to do the Miralax this morning--not looking forward to that. (However, if it were to start working, I'd probably be down 2-3 lbs immediately.)

Today is another 'slow start' day--but at least I'm up and moving!

What a beautiful family picture, Beth!!! You all look great!! And what a transformation from your before picture, you have done so well with your diet and exercise!!!

Congrats on your daughter graduating tomorrow. Who makes a graduation for Saturday morning though, bummer!!

I'm meeting a friend for coffee Sunday morning and he needed it to be early. I said 7am ok? He said sure. Then I volunteered to drive out his way to keep him closer to home for his plans. Yep 35 miles I'm driving for a coffee, but he's so worth it!! So I'll be up at 5:45am Sunday morning while Beth is snoozing!

I don't have much hope for weightloss this week so I won't be in the 180s yet. I'm expecting TOM on Monday but I'm stressing out as I'll be starting some fertility meds once I get it and there is an issue with the pharmacy and my insurance and "they never had this problem before", story of my freakin' life!! But I will NOT eat to make myself feel better. Sticking perfect on plan and nothing is going to detract that!

I'm still stuck at 197. My overeating from the holiday weekend has carried over. It's June 1 today, so I think I will get back on plan starting today.

DD the younger is all graduated. I no longer have 'school aged kids'--I have 'college kids'. It's a strange shift in my self image!

The graduation was held at a local college arena--the last time I was there, I was 35-40 lbs heavier than I am now and the stairs down to the seats kicked my butt. This time, I took the stairs both up and down without using the handrail! I took the last set of stairs out of the arena by half steps--but that was because my foot was sore, not because the stairs were wiping me out.

Unfortunately, the walking has left my foot pretty sore.

My weight is down to 195.0 this morning so I'm back where I was--YAY! I don't even count those as whooshes--more as corrective water loss or something.

Hope everyone is having a great day!

Hey everyone, I weighed in at 199 today. I'm going to be in a wedding in July and I'd really like to fit in my dress a lot more than I currently do. Someone recommended juicing to me, but I decided to just blend and keep my fiber. Wish me luck!

Welcome triptriptrip!!!! I'm sure you can do this!

I have a goal of 180 by mid-August for my nephew's bar mitvah--so I'll try to keep up with you!

I was 194 this morning, so that's a good thing. I don't want to be in the "upper 190s" anymore--and don't want to get anywhere near 200 again!

Today is a lazy around the house day--I think I needed one of those!

Just a quick note to say I'm officially out of here!! Down 2.2lbs to make it an even 189.0. I was sweating this weigh-in but I made it.

Beth, I'm making reservations for you in the 180s!!

Good luck everyone!

Yay, elvis! And it looks as if seaurchin is getting close to the 180s too. I'm hanging out at that horrid 195.0 again this morning.

I'm a bit jealous but am concentrating on being THRILLED for you!

Bye Elvis! Hope to see you soon!

I'm still hanging here at 197 until I have the nerve to get on the scale to see the new results.
