I have a very big problem with staying consistent and that is what is killing me on my diet anyone have any tips for this that has worked for them. Maybe I should just not watch the scale anymore I'm thinking and just make sure I am always eating right and exercising.

going2bskinny - staying away from the scale has been a HUGE factor as to why I've been able to be more consistent this time around. The time seems to go by faster too when I'm not watching the scale lol. It has made me focus less on numbers and on just eating healthy and exercising period; not for the sake of seeing what the scale will say the next morning, but because this is the type of lifestyle I should be leading on a daily basis for my health. If numbers affect you in ways that are not ideal, I would highly suggest tucking the scale away for a while. It really has helped me. :)

Losing weight is a struggle on its own. We all have our own daily and personal challenges. Don't be too hard on yourself. Losing weight takes a while. Consider taking a break doing something healthy that promotes weight loss.

Thanks Angie I will do that. There was some times during my weight loss I wasn't really watching the scale also and I had that same feeling like the time went a lot faster and it was easier to stick to cuz I wasn't obsessing about it all the time. Thanks for your reply :D:hug:

thanks chiki I will do that, going to just eat right and make sure I'm doing exercise or something fun that's active. :carrot:

Hello all...I am rather new here. I signed up at the beginning of the month but was thrown off track a bit by a family tragedy...then after that I had a professional tragedy. But I did rather well threw it all. I still weigh less then I did when I started so all is good on that end.

My family and I joined a gym at the end of July and now I have plenty of time to work out for a little bit. I really forgot how much I really loved to work out!

Anyway I am stopping by to say I'm here! :D Hopefully I will be thread hopping to the next milestone very soon...if I can keep these work outs and the emotional eating in check anyway...So far so good on both of those though..

Have a great day EVERYONE!

Woohoo. Down to 268.3 this morning. I see 259 in my near future!:)

Hey Wannabe - hahaah we have lost the same amount of weight as of today! Yahoo! Hay! and we are both in GA - spooky!!! hahahahahaha

I'm at 255.6. I was down to 254.4 a few days ago. I think I self sabatoge myself whenever I get nearer to 250. I think I'll report my daily weigh in on this thread to motivate me until I really see 249. Thanks for the support.

Thanks for the welcome, guys! I was down 2 lbs today, which was really exciting. My diet today was dreadful, so I'm not expecting a loss tomorrow. I'm currently focusing on not throwing the whole thing away because of one lunch slip up. Exercise today was also a no since I worked so hard yesterday that I'm too sore to walk. I'm planning on catching up tomorrow. I've been doing P90X, and Plyometrics was a little rough. I don't think there will be any issue with skipping a day, though. Better to rest than injure myself.

Anyway, I look forward to checking in tomorrow and seeing all of your progress!

Hey Guys,
I finally made it out of the 280/270's and am more than thrilled to be here with you all in the 260/250's! Just wanted to say hello and I hope you're all doing well :)
