Woohooo I spoke too soon! Did a 1.5 hour workout in the pool and came home; my weight was 256! Yipppeeeee

I weighed 254 one day last week. I'm almost back to my highest weight.

I'm still here - still sitting at around 257 - 258. But my yoga pants fell down during a workout on the weekend so I did my measurements this morning and my waist is down 1.5 inches since the end of July so maybe I'm getting a bit of muscle right now. I'm okay with that....except I haven't bought new pants for fall..made due with two pair of capris for work this summer and they are soon going to hit the floor too!!

Sept2012- I know what you mean. I have a ton of clothes from 2 years ago... 14-16. I think it will be awhile before I fit into those again. I'm more comfortable in a 22-24 now. My weight all redistributed to my pant line when I was pregnant.
This is only day 2 of my restarting weight loss. I know the weight can drop rapidly in the first couple of weeks from getting back on track, so it's nice to see that I'm down to 264.4 today. I joined some challenges on Sparkpeople this morning, so I'm going to do the "trick or treat trot" on the 31s of October. I can walk about 6 miles now without collapsing, but I haven't been jogging so I'm going to train a few days a week to be able to do the 5k and jog the whole way by then. |
Hello all! My midweek hiccup is gone. Now I'm hoping to be out of the 260s by Sunday!

i've been taking it slow and steady the past few days with my eating not anything too drastic and i've been working out also just got back from a 5k which was my fastest time yet also :D I felt less weight on my knees and less pain and just lighter it was a good workout. Took a shower and weighed myself the scale says 149.5 yaaaaaaaay I'm so excited :D granted it has said this a few times before but only for about a night or so and then I blew it the next day so my goal this time is to just stick with it and make sure it keeps going down instead of back up again. I am very confident I can though this time since I'm not doing anything drastic and crazy this is very maintainable can't wait to get to 199 now :O That's my next goal.

I am definitely seeing the scale move a bit now, which is nice. I took a peek this morning and it said 254.8, which is progress!
This Friday night we are going to Six Flags here in Atlanta. Every year Coca-Cola pays for its employees to have four free tickets plus free sodas. My dad works for them and always gives the tickets to us. The park's closed to the general public that night so there's very little wait time in the lines! :D I'll get my walking in as well as ride a roller coaster for the first time in about 10 years. I am pretty excited! |
Wow! Doesn't seem that long that I was so excited to be graduating into this thread, and now here I am 3/4 of the way out the other side! Yippeeeee. For those still on the upper side of it, hang in there... we will all soon be in the 240s thread!!!

Scale didn't move much this morning, but it moved and that counts!

I'm heading out of 250! I thought I'd pop into this thread. I'm the heaviest I've ever been and I never thought I'd be happy to see 249 but it means my weight is officially closer to 200 than 300! When I saw 260 a couple weeks ago I cried my eyes out, but I'm feeling much better. My next goal is 230, which is the weight I was for a good 6 months before I really let myself quit caring about what I ate and went to 260!
I'm trying not to look too far past 230, but 210 is my next goal because it'll be the lowest weight I've been in a couple years. Of course, Onederland is after that. ;) |

Today was not a good day for me. After making my post this morning I hopped in my car and was heading to work. All of a sudden I got super dizzy. I don't get dizzy spells but it was very sudden and really bad. I couldn't see straight and was weaving all over the road. I was close to my mom's house so I went there and laid down for a few minutes to see if it would go away. It didn't and I started to get worried when my fingers started going numb. I called my husband and he left work and came and got me. We spent the majority of the day in the ER. After a multitude of tests they just said I had vertigo. I've never experienced that before but it was not fun. I came home, did some work from home since I never was able to make it in, and took a nap. I am still a little dizzy but it's not nearly as bad as it was. I hope this goes way soon. I didn't run tonight because of the dizziness. :( |
