Between TOM and getting sick, some of us ladies are not have such a wonderful start to this month :( well tomorrow is Sunday and I am going to have to put my big girl pants on and hit the gym everyday next week. I have been SLACKING this week. Not proud. ....and I MAY have gone out for a couple of drinks last night. Good luck to us for the new week up ahead!

Hello all. I would like to tag along with you all on your way outta this place. I had gotten into the 280's last week but last Friday I gained back 4 lbs? (I am way past TOM but I think my body still celebrates it) but have lost those 4 and an extra 2.. so I think I am solidly in the 280's. But not for long tho as I want to visit those 270's. That grass is greener!

I hope all of you ladies who are in the middle of TOM swosh like crazy next week and get rid of that water along with extras!

Since I just started, I think what I'm losing so quickly is mostly just water weight and bloat...? I've cut my calories significantly, but I have also been drinking water like a fish, and I think it's really helping to flush that out. I'm expecting to run out of good luck very soon, so that is why I'm getting back into exercise this week, as well...want to keep my water momentum and start burning through the fat! That's what I think has been going on, at least. :chin:

Hi ladies.. Did not get much sleep last night. I don't get to be before 2 am since I work so late and my son decided to wake up at 530. Even though I'm still in bed when he's up I'm still up because I'm aware of what he's doing. Anyway the scale was a tiny bit up today not even a pound, but I'm thinking it's because of the sleep. No worries.. I'll start to worry if it doesn't budge again all week.
I was thinking yesterday that i was on a plateau, but I starting working in my smash book and realized I have lost 28 inches and 31 pounds since January 1st so that's definetely not a plateau. So yay for that.
I hope everyone is having a great weekend. I'll be happy when it's over since I won't be working. My hunny and I are going to be celebrating our anniversary this week. 13 years married, 20 years since I moved in with him and started our lives together.

Sassyangies: definitely no worries! You sound like you are doing a great job! Don't you just love it when the babies wake up early?! Lol. Mine woke at 6:30 ish, I didn't get up till like 7, she usually gets up at 730. But 530?!! I would die! That's awesome how many inches you lost!! I think when I hit a plateau I will just start measuring myself and seeing if the numbers go down because those plateaus are real downers :(

Babies and kids. They have no time table do they?! (early and earlier) My cats do tho. Wake up Wake up MOM, we want to eat (6:30 am for the last 10 years) and its still 6:30 am until I move out of the bed. LOL One nice thing tho... since I am unemployed at this time.. its gets me up and moving even if I did not want too. Can't be bed bound when you are needed (to feed the creatures in my case and loves in yours!)

Weigh in was less impressive, but still down today at 273.2. I worked out yesterday for the first time in a long time and didn't get much sleep, so I'm thinking those may be part of it. Still happy to be going downward, though! Does anyone else notice that they stall on weight or even gain a bit sometimes the day after a hard workout?

ErinMarie: Go right ahead, I am pretty sure I stole the idea from someone else last time I was here back in 2011...lol. I think it helps keep us motivated to see mini goals being reached from time to time. :yes:

Angelia: I totally feel you on the sleep, ugh. My husband let me sleep in a little today after the kids woke up (at the crack of dawn, naturally...lol), but I wasn't able to sleep until nearly 5am this morning, so it still didn't help much. :tired: Also, congrats on the anniversary!!! That's wonderful.

ophelia - hey girlie! hit it with you. 273.1 this morning. I said a solid 273 by monday and here it is. I will be out of the 270's this week. You coming with?

Yes!! Weighed myself and 286.6!! Back to what I was before TOM! Ugh thank god!! What a downer that was!

I am officially 280.0 today. I wish I could have kept off that extra over the weekend... Stupid weekends.
But 20 pounds lost now. I put a pic up in the mini goal thread. Yay. I freaking hate fat.

Got in cardio instead of strength yesterday and got more sleep, and the scale budged a little more today, so yay! Down to 272.2 this morning, but feeling a little dehydrated. Have no idea how, since I've been drinking so much water...lol. Is it normal to feel more dehydrated when you first start drinking water again, or is this just the bit of sickness I still have playing tricks on my body? :chin:

Sept2012: Yay! And, yes...I am so ready to come with! Haha. Hopefully, I'll be there in a few days...and, then we can burn through the next thread, too. ;)

Silverfire: Aww, I'm sorry. :hug: Is TOM still messing with you?

ErinMarie: Awesome! Way to kick TOM's butt! :kickbutt:
