Hi all. Been away for awhile and almost got out of the 280's, but I was going the wrong way! I was really sick for awhile. And then I couldn't find the gym anymore. (Hard to get there when you can't motivate yourself out of bed in the mornings.) But, I updated my signature and all, and I went to the gym this morning. Spin class. Hope to stay on track now!

Alright, the scale said 279.4 this morning despite overeating a bit last night, so I'm thinking that including copious amounts of water is already starting to help. Will eat better today and see if it's actually a permanent drop tomorrow.

Jumping in:
I'm going to jump into this one if you don't mind. I'm so determined to get out of the 280's for good. I saw 277 (which is 30lbs down) for a couple of days, but it was while I was very sick and as soon as I was eating again, 5 pounds went back on. So, working on eating better, trying to exercise and trying to cut out sodas again, want to see those 270's soon, and 260's soon after that.

This is where I'm sitting right now. When I weighed myself a week ago, the scale said 286. This morning, it said 281. I know that isn't right. But I'm going to consider 281 as my current weight. 18 pounds away from my heaviest. 28 to lose for my 10% goal.

I was at 279, then Aunt Flo had to come a knocking, pushing me back up to 282! Stupid being a girl and hormones and all that junk :( Frustrated!

Well, the scale was down a tad more at 278.6 this morning. I'm thinking I must have had a lot of bloating going on that pushed me over the 280 mark. Keeping my fingers crossed that the scale keeps going down with all the water I'm drinking to try to flush it out. I'll be going grocery shopping tonight or tomorrow, so I will definitely be shopping healthier again to cycle out all this less-than-stellar food we have in the house right now. Staying optimistic. :crossed:

It seems like the boards have been lit aflame with so many people having their TOMs right now, you guys must have cycled yourselves long-distance, lol. Kidding aside though, hope it goes fast for you. Your body should release all that retention by week's end, so I wouldn't let it stress you out too much. :hug: |
opheliapheonix - I am a little scared that so many ladies seem to have synced while being so far apart! :lol: I always know that is will probably be over quick and everything I gained I will lose again, but sometimes its hard to get past that stupid number on the scale and remember that it will all be ok in a couple of days :) Tomorrow is weigh in. I am not yet back down to where I was last week, but not nearly as high as it was a couple days ago. I will just keep truckin along... :D

Scale said 277.2 this morning, which I am happy about. Still slowly moving in the right direction. However, I have apparently caught whatever stuffy, congested, drainy, runny sickness my husband has had all week, so I'm just feeling like going back to bed...ugh, lol. About to go get some medicine and drink some Emergen-C to try to curb it off before it develops full-on, and hopefully it won't last as long as his has been going on. Yuck!

I was at 280 this morning, but weigh in day isn't until Monday. With the issues I had last week with water weight, I am hoping the last of it has come back off.
I am totally just coming into the conversation now like I have always been here. lol |
Scale was at 276.8 this morning. I barely got any sleep last night, so I was surprised not to see a stall...I usually don't see any changes unless I've gotten a full night's rest. Also, I'm still feeling stuffy, runny, sneezy and sleepy, ugh. Hmm, that sounds like I am a bunch of little miserable dwarfs that hang around with Snow White, ha. :lol:

Hi ladies.. it's been awhile since I posted here. Not sure why I keep forgetting about this thread. Well, I'm here now..lol.. We went on an overnight stacation to Flagstaff to play in the snow and my weight creeped up to 284. Not nice since when we left I was at 281. I'm ok with it now. I was upset when we got back, but I started while we were there and I know that probably played a big role in it. Ididn't lose the 10 I was hoping for in Feb, but that's ok.

was not going to weigh until tomorrow. could not help myself this A.M. still at 275. Expect it to go down as thankfully aunt flow just left... hahahaa here is to 273 tomorrow!

Today I stepped on the scale to find myself teetering between being severely obese as I have been for about a year, and just regular old obese. It sounds so crazy that I would be so happy about that, but I since I found myself in that category... esh.
Weigh ins are Monday. I sometimes fail miserably watching my food consumption over the weekend, so I am hoping that by next Monday (the 11th) that I can say good bye to being severely obese. |
