For today, here is my meal plan:

Whole-Wheat Tortilla 330 cal
one scrambled egg
cheese
salsa

Amy's organic pesto tortellini 430

banana 90

meat and veggies 350

total calories: about 1200

Plus a six-mile run on the treadmill, starting to become wintery

OKAY, so, I have my new work schedule and here is what my WO will look like for the week, when i start my new schedule

MON - morning 6 mile run treadmill
TUE- morning 6 mile run treadmill
WED- 915-1015 Cycling, 1045-1145 Tai Chi
THUR- 915-1015 Cycling, 1045-1145 Yoga
FRI- Bodypump 9AM

I think that this is a great schedule because it will incorporate everything that I wanted to work on this winter (endurance, flexibility, and strength training). I want to make sure that once I get back to the running season next spring that I am up and ready! I like this because on WED, THUR, FRI, I get my exercises in the morning, which is key for me, Doing an exercise after a long day of work is so stressful.

Anna Congrats on the weight loss! That's wonderful that you can weigh yourself everyday like that. I get too frustrated. I flux so much! It's like, one day I gain a pound, the next I lose. I like looking at consistent results or I go crazy. LOL, but congrats.

I didn't want to let the cat out of the bag, but, I am losing weight too!!! I only weigh myself once a week, and I think this monday was a good one because I came in at 155.8. My mouth dropped--I am sure that will fluctuate back up again. I am guessing I am about 156 right now? Getting down to 154 would be great because that would mean I have lost ten pounds since my honeymoon!!! Hopefully, I can build on that bikini bod for the summer. I am hoping to keep up the good healthy lifestyle this winter!!

On Halloween, I am running a 10k and being the designated driver the night before (sat) for all my buddies. It's nice to know the people you love have a safe ride. Plus, it helps with drinking less calories! I can get crazy at festitivies, so I am usually the first one to claim DD on party nights.

Well, hopefully by next monday, I can come in here telling you I have lost 10 pounds since July.

Thanks for everyone's support!

Amanda, I need to set up some formal exercise goals too. I've been winging it since doc told me I could start doing my low impact videos again. YaY for your great day

Congratulations Matt on your new weight loss territory!

Anna, *w00h00* for your losses!

Sea, may I ask where you live? Your avi makes me sigh every time I see it. Happy to hear the scale is being kind and moving the right way.

librarygirl, that is some workout routine! I'm sure you'll be seeing results with all that hard work.

Well the scale blipped back up 1/4 lb for my "official" weigh in today. But I am still down 10 pounds since October 9th so there will be no complaining for me!

Hope everyone else checks in soon too! Still lots of days left on the challenge. Let's make the most of it.

GO SMILIES!

p.s. That little mouse in my avi is one the reasons for my determination. My eldest granddaughter Vivienne. I want to be able to run and play with her and her cousin Erin for a good long time. (Erin is only 5 mos so not much running yet LOL)

Hello everybody!

I've just returned from my 60-minute walk with my dear brother. I've eaten in my calorie range. So today I get my !
Anyway, I visited my doctor today (nefrologist; I'm not sure if you use that term also) because of my high blood pressure. She said that I'll always need medication even if I loose the weight; that was dissapointing, hu
The other thing she said was that I consume too much salt. 6 grams is enough for a day. And you know what? 2 slices of bread have that much salt. What about other food where salt is hidden?!
I came to a conclusion that raw food is what I should eat most of the time (veggies, fruits, nuts, ...). That way I can have my salt intake somewhat in control.
matt, anna, Sea, librarygirl, charms and everybody else I'm happy that you're doing so great and congrats on the weight loss!

Charms, we have the same reason for losing the weight. I have my precious son Dorian who is only 5 and needs his mum to stay around him years and years to come. He is my number one reason I'm doing this!
The second reason is that I want him to have a brother/ a sister soon! It's not possible while I'm this heavy and have so many medical problems and on so many pills every day.

Checking back in after the weekend. Glad to see so many people are doing so well staying on plan and seeing good losses, congrats!

I had a planned for off plan day on Sunday. Wow eating like that really drains my energy and brings my mood way down. Got right back on plan Monday and today, but still trying to undo the effects of that day, mental and physical. Scale jumped up and I thought it was just sodium and would be back down this morning, but looks like it's going to take another day.

I did the treadmill and stretches yesterday, and weight lifting today.

Took a verrry hard midterm last night.. barely got 1000 calories in for the day and most of them were at night when I realized I ate close to nothing. When I woke up the scale said I was up .6 lbs.. probly from eating the bulk of my food so late the night before. Today has been a bit better, my school followed a Friday schedule so I had the day off. I relaxed, watched a bit of TV, cleaned a bit.. etc. I'm at 1065 calories right now so I have a little wiggle room if I decide to have a light snack and a cup of tea. Time to study and do some laundry though, another midterm tomorrow night! x_x

Today was a hard day. Murphy's law at work. BUT I stuck to plan (tho on the higher side of my calorie range) and I'm counting it as a big victory!

Great job getting back on plan anna!

Jelbelle, take a deep breath, pamper yourself with a relaxing bubble bath or something and remember the school semester will be over soon! Over eating won't fix anything.

I woke up to a great surprise this morning. A two pound *whooooosh*

Well I was on plan again yesterday.

But, from that one day off plan on Sunday, the scale jumped 3.5 lbs Monday morning, then stayed the same 3.5 up on Tuesday, then went down just 1 lb this morning. I have to admit being confused/frustrated, because I did not have anywhere near enough cals to cover my BMR plus 3.5 lbs to make that weight "real," so I'd thought it was just sodium, but I don't remember having sodium take *this* long to go away. I got right back on plan, with nutrition and exercise, have done the treadmill several times and weight lifting. So I am confused and frustrated, and trying not to let it get me too down or throw me off course.

Hope everyone is having a great day!
