  • Vivian, in my diet plan, that used to be "on plan". It's ok, in my opinion to indulge once in a while. To me, that's just life and I'm trying to eat for life. Now that I'm trying to get off the last set of pounds, I have to be more "perfect". But I think you're doing great!
  • Haven't been able to catch up with everyone's posts yet.. I was so exhausted when I got home from class last night I just went straight to bed! Who gets stuck in traffic on the Verrazano Bridge at 10:15pm after taking a gruesome midterm, writing a paper on a 1 hour dinner break and after all that sitting through a fast-paced 3 hour lecture? I DO!! x_x

Still on plan, which I'm shocked because I'm so stressed that I'm breaking out all over my chin. I'm relieved I haven't reached for the baked goods yet, of course, but still shocked :P

    Four days in a row!

Today was especially good as I just got home from a 4 mile jog. I took the last couple of days off from running, but went back out there this evening. My food choices today were right on plan and I was under my calorie count.

Weekends are usually my downfall, but with all of your support and encouragement I know I am going to get through this one.
  • I'm having a bad case of the blahs today. I'm on plan with both my food and exercise, but the rest of me is just in a blah mode. It did help a bit to see all my little dancing carrots (back on my original post on page 3). Hoping tomorrow the blahs move on.

On a side note, it's fantastic to see how well so many are doing. We are almost 2 weeks into the challenge. For those that are struggling, tomorrow's a new day, you still have time to make it work.

    10/21

Yesterday was a great day. I ate approx. 1300 cal which is good but what's more important I walked for about an hour. It was a brisk walk (at least 6 km= 4 miles in 60 minutes!) with my brother who is also fighting the same battle as I do. We are both overweight and on high blood pressure medications! We are going to do this! Yes we are!!!!

    10/21 : (ice cream all day-Wisdom Teeth)

Oh geez, just got my wisdom teeth out, so on Wednesday night, my friend brought over some excellent food that I stuffed myself on, plus I made a cupcake because of the scary operation I was about to have (stress eating). Yesterday, I had about 1000 calories worth of ice cream, which was nice, and necessary to make my teeth feel good. I don't count that as a frownie day though, because I love myself, and I feel like loving myself has something to do with health too. And yesterday, eating ice cream all day made me feel better about the operation (not to mention the swelling). As I am doing recovery, I am going to try to just stay under 1200 calories a day, starting today.

I am eating better stuff now, like chicken noodle and macaroni and cheese. As long as I stay under 1200 calories, I am not going to penalize myself for sugary foods, ect. I am just glad I am eating! LOL

have a good one, tell you girlies what happens by monday, my next weigh in

10/22 although I ate 280 cal of chocolate but still in my calorie range

Anyway, it was a great day till I got home from work only to find out my son got sick. He has bronhitis (I'm not sure it's the term you use) and fall/spring is always hard on him. So yesterday he got fever and his doctor prescribed him antibiotics. Well, needless to say-kids and taking a medicine.
I had to treat myself with little bit of comfort food just to calm myself (emotinal eater) but still I finished a day on 1200 calories!
Exercise: zero, but I felt at the end of the day like I ran a marathon!
