I'm still going strong, even avoided a huge box of donuts at work today. We don't normall have snacks sitting out at work, but once every month or so on our board meeting day, we have donuts from this little mom and pop donut shop. They are super good donuts, but I didn't even look in the box today. It's the first time in long time that spending the day with a huge box of donuts just a room away didn't bother me. Whew.

Passing on the donuts is major awesome! Congrats

Today was a long hard one, but staying on plan was the easy part. I think it's because I had a plan. That is key for me.

Collecting my smiley!

I've been slacking on my exercise this week, given all that I have going on. Feeling a little guilty about it, but

Does it matter which day we start the 30 on? Let me know if so, and I'll move.

So, I've decided to do a (slightly) higher carb but lower cal (1200) 30-day programme, based on the Carb Lovers Diet. My idea is that I'll stick with it for 30 days, then gradually eat back up to 1400 for Christmas.
Day 1: 171.2 11/17 1255.....I haven't got the book yet but decided just to go for it, and this was as near as I got.
Day 2: 169.7

I'd like to forget about a few days there. So how about me starting again.

I'm meeting a friend on December 3rd and I'd like to get back into new territory by then. I'm up several pounds from my lowest (some of it is still water weight) but I think I can get into new territory again by the 3rd if I am 100% OP till then. Day 1 for me is today.

THAT'S IT! I have been hanging out at the same weight for too long. No more screwin' around. I am going to track my calories from now 'til New Years. I keep getting hung up on emotional stuff and it is stupid - I will just fake it 'til I make it. Starting today... starting now. Goals: 1650 - 1800 calories six days a week. 1800 - 2000 on A (as in one - sigular - uno) weekend day.

I'm so excited to have some new people to the 30 day challenge! The more the better, 30 days is 30 days regardless of when you join!

Lottie - Congrats on the 29 days!

Calluna - I hope you make you low weight by the weekend!

I have been super stressed this week so not eating much of anything at all (that's a bit of a change ) so tonight, I made a huge dinner (still within my calories for the day). Now if I can just eat it all. Cabbage fills me up very quickly. I may eat it in shifts.

Glad to see you back Matt!

You can do it SCraver. And we'll be here to celebrate with you.

Congrats lottie! 12 pounds in 29 days is awesome!

I'm having the same kinda week WildThings *sigh* I'm tired of stress. But I refuse to let it get the best of me.

Another on plan day tho I did have to get my workout in bits and pieces today. Crazzzzzzy schedule between now and Thanksgiving.

I haven't been on this site much but 11/11 - 11/18 = down 1.4lbs and it's like a godsend to me. The scale is finally moving at a good rate that I've wanted this whole year.

I re-started on the 18th as I think I needed to reset this thing and start another streak. Yesterday was good food wise. There is 13 days this month (from yesterday) and I'm going to make it 13 a very lucky number.

Angelic, so happy the scale is moving for you!

Congratulations on a new decade Rosinante! I have Cushings and can't let my carbs get too low either so what you are doing sounds a lot like my plan. Good luck!

Scale was nice to me today and I'm down another pound I can't wait to get in to the 220's!
