Though stress may often originate from external sources, you can take steps to reduce stress by watching what foods you put inside your body. Green vegetables are tailor-made to reduce stress and get you closer to having a healthy body at the same time.

Part of maintaining a healthy body is to appropriately reduce stress after experiencing it. It contains a myriad of helpful vitamins and minerals including: vitamins A, B2, B6, C, E, K, magnesium, folate, iron, folic acid, potassium, zinc and more. It even contains significant amounts of protein and omega-3 fatty acids. You really can’t go wrong with this powerhouse green vegetable.

Though spinach is rich in nutrients, broccoli provides some competition. It might not agree with everyone’s taste buds, but it is a rich source of vitamins A, C and K. It’s also suspected of possessing anti-cancer properties and might not only reduce stress, but give a good preventative measure to avoid future health conditions.
