The 5 Factor Diet is a five-week plan that consists of five smaller meals and two snacks per day. The Workout Plan
A sensible exercise program is a cornerstone of the 5 Factor Diet. To realize the most benefit from the plan, aim for a minimum of a 25-minute workout, five days per week, for the entire five-week plan. If you do not have time to do the entire session at once, shorter sessions spaced throughout the day are just as effective. The 5 Factor Diet isn’t about spending hours in the gym, it’s about learning to fit a little activity into the lifestyle you already have.
Who is This Diet For?
The 5 Factor Diet is for those who do not have the time to spend hours preparing a healthy meal. For those that do not like the idea of stopping to eat every three to four hours, it may not work as well. Emotional eaters will not function well on the 5 Factor Diet (the book by Harley Pasternak fails to address the topic). People that go out to eat a lot may find the plan a little challenging at first, but sticking with the diet will teach them how to make special requests or changes to an order when eating in a restaurant. For those that have trouble sticking to a diet and exercise program without cheating, the 5 Factor plan may be ideal.
The 5 Factor Diet plan is effective because it is largely based on common sense. After all, exercise and eating healthy is something that we all know we should be doing. The program is simple, effective, balanced, and safe enough to be used for the rest of a person’s life. The plan may seem like a bit of a gimmick simply because it is so popular with celebrities, but if it is done correctly, it will give great results.
