Are there any Quest bars that are not on program? I wanted to try the variety pack but not if Ill be getting some I can't use.
The two that some people count as unrestricted are strawberry cheesecake and chocolate peanut butter. I consider them to be on the fence and count them as restricted.
Then, others such as the peanut butter or chocolate chip cookie dough are probably best as once per week super restricted.
I guess I'll be using the EAS Carb AdvantEdge from now on...*sigh*
I have been using the EAS Carb AdvantEdge vanilla in my coffee but ran out so used the EAS Carb AdvantEdge chocolate instead and actually liked it better.
I am not sure if this qualifies as an alternative product, but I have been dying for my peanut butter. Walden Farms has a whipped spread, has anyone tried it? What WF products would you or would you NOT recommend?

WF products aren't "alternative", they don't replace an IP packet - they would count as "Extras", things that are 0 fat, 0 carb, 0 sugar that we can use as flavoring/seasoning. Folks using both IP products and alternative products use Walden Farms stuff a lot!
The WF peanut butter product is....interesting. I have used it in the past but only when I was making a peanut-flavored dish (like a mock pad thai sauce). Straight up, it was too chemical-tasting for me.
Everyone's tastes are different, my personal go-to products are:
Pancake syrup (regular and blueberry)
Strawberry Fruit spread
Caramel topping
Ranch Dressing
Honey Dijon Dressing
Thousand island Dressing (for my big mac salads!)
I really only use the dressings and pancake syrups straight up. The fruit spread and topping I use in small amounts to enhance or change the flavor of puddings and shakes.

OMG I looooooove the Quest chips! I'm so excited for new flavors! Does anyone know if the stores will carry them? Every time I go into my local store they tell me they don't know.
I checked GNC here in Austin for the Quest chips. The store manager said lots of people have come in asking for them but she has no idea when they will be able to order them for the store. Currently only 1 flavor is offered on their website and you have to buy the entire box. I don't want to do that until I know I like them.

You can order from questnutrition.com and order one bag of each to try them. If you use promo code ONAQUEST (if it is still working) you get free shipping.

Yes, I ordered some individual bags of the chips on Monday from the Quest website. Just waiting for them to arrive. Hopefully I will like some of them.
I have had the Quest chips, I ordered them online. I have had the sea salt, barbecue and cheddar. I actually liked them. The plaint sea salt ones were awful. I like the other flavors, but I have to tell you, when they melt in your mouth, they taste and feel like paper, haha. But, it's low carb paper!! Seriously, for the idea of having a "snack", they are great. If anyone tries them, I would be interested to see how you like them!!

Yeah, I had to do cauliflower hummus to get through the sea salt ones. It was like eating cardboard - really chewy, light cardboard.

If you take the Chocolate Fudge EAS RTD Shake and pour it into a coffee mug and warm it up its like having hot cocoa!!!
There are a few IP products that are private-labeled for other companies. The Proti Diet white cheddar crisps are the same as the IP ones, but a slightly smaller portion. Same with the Proti Thin chocolate snacks! They both even come in the same silver space packaging
OMG this is good to hear! I'm very fond of original IP crisps. Has anyone tried ProtiDiet cookies (not the wafers) The peanut butter and regular butter cookies sound yummy. Thanks!
I will be in Michigan this weekend from Canada. Anyone know what stores I can find EAS carbvantage RTD. I have to buy online up here. Muscle milk light would be fine too. I have only ever found singles for that around me.

I prefer the Health Wise/Health Smart cookies - I found the Proti Diet ones to be pretty dry. Nashua sent me one as a sample in my last order, and it reminded me more of a scone than a cookie.

In the US, any Wal-Mart carries EAS Carb AdvantEDGE. I have also picked them up from supermarkets and CVS Pharmacy stores.
