Does anyone know of an alternative soup that tastes like IP's broccoli and cheese soup? (The eBay route doesn't look feasible.)

Thanks,
Blueskies

That's why I'm glad there are SO MANY choices!
I prefer the Simply Whey bars b/c they aren't as sweet.
I try to do way more savory than sweet so I won't end up craving sweets when I get to maintenance.
Quest bars are sweet and cause me cravings (yup! I love them too much!)

Hi Lisa - I also love quest bars just a little too much...& for reasons unbeknownst to me they seem to stall my losses. I can't even speculate why that may be, but sometimes we need to trust the n=1 statistics. I'm curious if you use the simply protein as a restricted or an unrestricted item? Have you tried the mini bars?

Lisa,
How do you make your rhubarb-Great Lakes collagen gelatin? I have the Great Lakes collagen.

Thank you!

I received my order from The Protein Store today and was pleased with how much product they put in a snack bag.

I found pretzels, chips, cookies, and soup that's all IP compliant!!!
I usually just buy chips and pretzels for a crunchy snack, but saw the cookies and had to try them. I'll let you know how they are!

I chop the rhubarb, add about half cup water and nuke until very tender.
Then I blend with my immersion blender & add appropriate amt of gelatin. Then pour into single serving dishes & chill

I count all bars as restricted
I believe I should restrict "treats" as they'll be restricted in maintenance

They are usually in a corner on their own, with parsnips and zucchini . At least that's how it is at Safeway

I've been dying to find rhubarb as I love it stewed with stevia....Lisa do you find it in the produce area? I think it's out of season.

Just chiming in - i can find it frozen in most grocery stores off to the side of frozen fruit...usually by the frozen pie crusts & cool whip...It isn't near as good as the rhubarb from the garden, but it works on the off-season

Yes. Fresh produce.
My store stopped carrying frozen. Bummer. It was much more convenient

My new favorite bar (yes, restricted) from Nashua Nutrition
Soy Free
Gluten Free
Organic/non GMO
Grass Fed Whey
(these are a few of my favorite things)
5 Flavors!
They cost a little more but nonGMO/Organic usually does!
