Hello Ladies!
I am researching all the alternative products. I did IP for 6 months starting last 0ct. I lost 30 pounds and then stopped. My IP center closed down and then I moved. My new city also does not have an IP center, so here is to alternatives. I have also put on about 15 pounds, so I want to nip that in the bud! I am going to order online, but am worried about the shipping costs to Canada. Any advice would be welcome, on ordering or on the alternative program. Thanks, and have a great week!

Low carb grocery has EAS carbadvantage shakes, real cdn superstore has a compliant PC product, walmart, target and costco sell pure protein. Proti diet is in Canada and they will ship to you. I pay about 15 a box and if I order 11 or more I don't pay shipping. Someone from ontario went over the chore dear to shop and didn't have to pay duty because they were meal replacements but when Nashua sips to you, I don't think customs realizes this so it can get pricey.
I'll bump the cdn thread for you. There's alt stuff in there.
I just started the alternative route from IP. I'm searching for an equal if not close similarity to the ready-to-serve Strawberry Banana drink from IP. My daily routine was to mix 2 cups of baby spinach adding the IP drink to make a green smoothie. Anyone try alternative products that is close to the same flavor? Thanks.
I usually have the Nashua Nutrition HeathSmart pancakes or oatmeal for breakfast since it satisfies the feeling of eating carbs, feels "normal" for me. However, today I decided to try a new product (new for me, the product has been around for a while). Had Nashua Nutrition's Weight Loss Systems' Dark Chocolate Cream pudding. Stats: 100 cal, 1.5 g fat, 7 g carbs, 1 g fiber, 15 g protein. Pretty tasty, given that it's a diet pudding. Didn't taste as chemical laden as others.
Wishing all a good day!

Words cannot express how happy I am about this!! WAHOO!!:ca rrot:
I just wanted everyone to know that on Nashua for today only they are offering free shipping for orders $49 and up if you use promo code TODAY49.
I know I'll be ordering me some pasta.
Has anybody tried the whey protein crunchies from Netrition.com? It sounds like they may be similar to IP crispy cereal - and all of its versatility for baking, pancakes, etc. The crunchies come in natural and cocoa and I'm very intrigued but thought I'd see if anyone has tried them and what they thought. Reviews on Netrition are all positive so I may just try some in my next order. From what I can tell, if you use 3/4 of a serving, it's perfect for IP comparability! Approx 100 cal, 1 g fat, 6-7 carbs, 15 g protein if you use 3/8 cup which is 3/4 of a serving per their label.
Oh yes, and they're made from whey and not soy!
I was also looking for an alternative to the IP crispy cereal (for use in recipes), anyone have any suggestions?
I had my first 3 Quest Bars - I loved the Cinnamon Roll, liked the Strawberry Cheesecake and Coconut Cashew. I will definitely be ordering more, it's a welcome change from the other bars that I like from Proti Diet that are Peanut Butter flavored (Peanut Surprise and Peanut Butter and Smooth Caramel). I believe they are all restricted except for the Peanut Butter and Smooth Caramel. Interestingly, I didn't particularly like the Chocolate brownie bar. I know with the Quest bars that folks suggest you microwave them or bake them. I didn't try that yet.
Tried the proti-diet maple oatmeal for the first time. It was really good, though I used way too much water in it. I was hoping that there would be more volume to it, very small serving.

The IP oatmeal serving is pretty small too but the protein in them fills me up as much as if I have a bigger bowl of regular oatmeal.
