Good morning everyone
Down to 233 this morning, and feeling great! So far this challenge I have lost 35 lbs and overall 52lbs!!!! I am so close to the 220s I can't stand it... I haven't been in the 220s in probably 15 -20 years.

way to go, suzukigirl! That's a huge loss and an even bigger accomplishment!

I weighed in at 143 last week (a 2 pound loss) and thought i was breaking through my plateau but have been up again this week and came in at 143.5 this AM. After I weighed myself I had a really upset stomach, so I'm wondering if that is part of the reason my numbers are up lately-- maybe I just need to flush myself out. Ok, sorry, TMI, but I've been trying to think of all the possible causes! I'm also supposed to be TOM next week, but I'm on the pill, so I'm not *really* supposed to have bloating and stuff but it seems like that might be contributing too. I hope so, anyway-- that would definitely explain all these insatiable cravings I've been having for chocolate and sweets. Cravings are the death of me!!

To be honest, I'm just tired of how slowly everything has been moving now. I feel like I'm doing everything right and making a big effort, but haven't been seeing real consistent results for such a long time. I know it gets slower the lower your weight goes but it seems like *nothing* has been happening. I want to see the 130's so badly! I don't think I've ever been that low... at least not since I was a kid! That will be a huge milestone if I can make it.

Okay, done complaining. Good luck to everyone!!

i know I probably won't make my goal since this entire summer has been wonky, but at least I will probably lose *some* weight, so that in itself is ok.

suzukigurl -- 50 pounds, congrats!!!

vdh2102 -- do you think that the pill could be messing with your weight? I know that it can affect metabolism, cause weight gain, etc. Maybe it is causing you to stall? Sorry you are back up at any rate, and I hope it is just bloating!

Congrats on everyone else's losses as well.

Another 2 pounds this week, so I'm happy! Especially since I have been indulging quite a bit. I think I have hit that point where I am pretty happy...so weight loss is no longer as important. I would like to tone up, but if I stay a size 10, whatevs! Well, actually I would at least like to someday be a size 8, because I have never been in single digits. Hard to explain, but weight loss used to consume my life -- I was very motivated and focused, and now I am like "meh!".

Went to my 15 year HS reunion and when people posted photos on Facebook afterwards, I wasn't afraid! In fact I looked good! First time I have ever experienced that in my life. I have avoided public situations before just so people wouldn't see me and have photos to post. I used to edit out photos I would post (only posting the ones from really good angles), or at one point I even photoshopped them so I looked thinner. Embarrassing to admit

Today I have officially lost 75 pounds since I started 5 months ago, and I have lost 135 pounds overall! I tried on a pair of my old pants last night and they just fell off. Like slid right over my hips onto the floor. Crazy that not even 1/2 year ago I wore them and they were tight. I wish I had known sooner that I could do this!!!

Wow, only 9 weeks left till Halloween...hope everyone is doing great and working towards those cute costumes!

Awesome, Jessica! You have done an amazing job!!! I totally understand the "meh" part. I am totally ok with an slower rate of loss since I am feeling pretty good right now.

Mori- same here and as long as we are lower than when we started, that is something, right?

Vdh- Aw, hang in there! It will happen. Have you considered taking a maintenance break or maybe calorie cycling just to shake things up?

Suzukigirl- Gosh, you are totally kicking butt! Great job overall and keep up the amazing work.

DaugT, Cherlioos and everyone else- great job on your losses!

I saw 159 the other day! So happy! I will be going to Branson the weekend and I will be getting a tattoo as well. So excited. Since I won't be on tomorrow and all weekend, have a great one guys!!!!

Congrats on the 150s Amandie! And yay for your tattoo -- have fun!

I saw 174.2. My goal for the past few months has been 174...so I am officially lowering to 155. Scary, but I never thought I would see 174, so I think I can do it. Crazy to think that my overall goal for the longest time was 199, and now I am 25 pounds below that!

Just realized we are about halfway through the challenge....crazy how time flies!

This is the first time that I've EVER stuck it out long enough to actually FEEL the difference. Right now I'm to the point that I don't even care what the scale says as long as I continue to feel this good and I know I'm doing what I'm supposed to (before if the scale didn't DRASTICALLY change every week I'd wig-out and quit).
PLUS....I'm in the 220's AND only 10 pounds away from my Halloween goal! I lost 9.9 pounds this month so I am hoping to slide past my previous goal and get even further down by Halloween. I am thinking ahead to the Thanksgiving/Christmas holidays and how I probably won't lose hardly anything those months so I want to get as low as I can before then.

That's awesome!! I know exactly what you mean. The last time I was consistently losing I felt the same way, the numbers became secondary to how wonderful I was feeling!! Great work!!
