*wave* everyone!

Tessa, you lucky lucky girl! Steve sounds like a gem.

I'm feeling icky physically today but my heart is starting to pound with excitement. I'm leaving for San Antonio in two weeks. I'm so happy, very relieved.

Usually I like to be on point but things are so hectic for me right now, and about to get even more hectic so I'm just going to say that I want to be in the 220s by Thanksgiving.

**** All, Sorry but with my busy schedule seems like i'm only able to post on weekends right now; hopefully it'll get better soon. I was able to stick to my low-carb regimen this week by cooking enough at dinner to have for the next day's lunch. I find it to be much healthier this way also, and it's breaking me of my old fast food habit (which I formed over the years being a field social worker who spends majority of the time in a car.) I'm down 2 lbs this week I can move my ticker closer toward my goal

Pretty-Congrats on ur NSV! Losing inches is awesome

Darby-Hang in there! Hopefully u'll get back on track soon

JasonsLea-Hang in there! U can do this

Kappy-Its great that ur getting exercise 3 days per week. (somthing I need to work harder at) Hang in there! eventually u'll be able to make it throught the program.

CONGRATS to Fluffy, Tessa, Colaz, & Val

Keep up the GREAT work everyone

Default So Angry!

I just spent the last 20 minutes writing a long post telling what happened last week, and writing a personal little message to everyone, when an error message from Microsoft popped up and shut down my computer!!!! Why does this happen????

Ok, I don't have the time or energy to rewrite everything again, but I will say congratulations to everyone who lost weight! You're doing really great. Especially, keeperofthehome4!! Four pounds is awesome! And Tessa, I'm so sorry to hear about your friend. A lot of the clientele where I work is very elderly, and it's always so hard when somebody passes away.

Well, last week is over. I was just a little ball of stress. It was nothing major, just a lot of little things happened, and unfortunately, I don't deal well with stress. But I'm better now, and ready to get back on track.

This morning I did a 5k walk for the Susan G. Komen foundation, which was a really nice way to start the day. I didn't really think so when I had to get up at 5 a. m. and drive through rain and fog to get there, but it turned out to be a lovely day, and I enjoyed it.

Enjoy the rest of your weekend!

142! Finally!

And I know losing inches is more important than the number on the scale but I know I am not alone in wanting to see a smaller number regardless

All you gals seem to always be losing, it's frusterating!!!

Hey everyone. I'm so happy that you all just keep trying. That's the important thing, ThePrettyOne. You aren't giving up and it is going to pay off.

I'm down half of a pound this week. I was a bit lackadaisical about my veggie intake this week, and some other things I was a bit off plan for, so I'm happy about the loss. Of course, I wish it were more, but, I'm going to to just keep trying and it will happen.

Oh no...I'm not ever giving up!!

So I haven't lost anything since the 142 breakthrough on Sunday, BUT I measured again today and my ribcage is down to 32 from 34 and my hips are down ANOTHER .5" and are at just a hair over 37"!

Hey all! Sorry to be so quiet lately, things have been a bit hairy.

I'm glad everybody seems to be doing well, it makes it so much easier to stay OP. I'm pleased to report I avoided my weekend rebound, so the scale is just a tad lower. I'll take it. Have to kick it into high gear to meet this Thanksgiving goal, hopefully things will start moving now! Maybe someday I'll get the measureable results like ThePrettyOne!

I'm starting to see such a difference in how I look. It's so exciting! I'm beginning to look like I did 2 years ago I know a lot of people have trouble seeing their results, but definitely not this lady!

Ya know I'm usually pretty good with the abbreviations, but I have no idea! In that context, I'm sure its something in the way of motivated or on track.

I think it's "on plan".

Good job TheprettyOne! It's great when you can finally see the results of all your hard work.

Nice job Kappy! You'll see your results in no time if you keep up what you're doing.

Welcome Plann2walkonwata. And nice job on the 40 lb. loss!

I finally got my husband on board to diet with me. He doesn't need to lose too much, only about 20 lbs., but it will be easier if I have a partner.

Have a great day!

Hope y'all don;t mind if I join this late. I've loved reading through this thread. I'd like to lose 15 lbs by T-day. I'm nursing a 4.5-mont-old, so I think that's a pretty safe goal (1-1.5/wk). My goal is to be 170 by Dec. 1 (that's the weight I was when I got preggie with little Mollie).
I'm just trying to eat around 1800-2000 cals a day and work out hard 5-6 days a week. Got my DH on board with me a couple of months ago-- his muscles are already starting to pop out and I'm jealous! lol
Blessings!

I haven't posted for a bit....so..here goes....I have been seriously slacking as far as exercise goes and have been grazing more than usual...sigh...so obviously NO weight lost...but...at least I'm maintaining.

I will exercise starting tomorrow!
