Day 1 of the challenge from HELLLLLLL! ;-)
Uncategorized March 30th, 2009I weighed in this morning. I wish I hadn’t. I am not even paying attention. I know yesterday was filled with nastiness, but not 5 pounds worth. I am all in for this challenge and I know that will get me back to scale reality. The bad part? My Grandmother is coming into town on Wednesday, so I basically have today through Wednesday morning to get the exercise part done. I am just going to have to hard core it today and tomorrow, and get in at least 100 minutes of exercise. It can be done, it’s just gonna SUCK! The water I’m not worried about, it’s the food. I know I’ll be fine except Thursday night we’re going out to eat (don’t know where) and Friday morning (again, no clue) so hopefully those places have reasonable options.
My Aunt has decided we’re going to Europe next summer (OMG! YAY!!!), and so I am planning the things we’ll do so we can see how long we want to stay. I’m in charge of Ireland, England, and France, and she’s doing Italy, Greece, and Germany. Can I just tell you, I am so freaking ecxited about this!!! I really want to be in the best shape I can be in. I want us to take a bike ride tour of Southern Ireland. This is just more motivation for me!!!
I have bootcamp this morning, but since I am having surgery next month and the boys are on Spring Break, I think this will be my last day. I’m ok with it, but I am going to miss the challenge. Although, that is what you Slump Buster’s are for!
Okay, I gotta jet. Happy Monday, chickies!

Well, I ended up on the phone all morning… my aunt (trip stuff), then my sister (wedding stuff), and then my BFF (her BF isn’t coming home for an extra 2 months from Afghanistan)… so that ended boot camp. UGH. Then, the hubby came home and brought two friends, so now it is almost 1 in the afternoon and I haven’t even worked out yet! And, I need to fit in 100 minutes today! Is this even doable? I hope so. I am honestly not feeling like doing anything right now, I’m not gonna lie. I’m going to read some blogs and see if I can find some mojo… hopefully the lil man will be asleep by then.
FYI: No mojo is to be had. Nap? Now that sounds good…
*****************
Okay, I think I psyched myself up for a big night of working out. The hubby has his first class tonight and so I am going to get the kiddos up in bed watching a movie when he leaves and enjoy a night to myself filled with running and weight intervals, and then topped off with a little biking. 100 minutes WILL be mine! And the lesson I have learned even before having to do the 100 minutes? DO something, anything, first thing in the morning like I usually do! Sheesh, I am so lazy!
********************
I just killed myself, literally, for an hour. I was going to do more, but honestly, it is almost 10 o’clock at night and I am wasted. I did my running and weight intervals. Can I just tell you… I did an ungodly amount of squats and lunges tonight. My sister (other) called to talk about the dresses, and apparently they are not forgiving of a jiggly belly. Motivation? I got it.
Night, chickies!

The trip sounds fantastic! I can imagine the green countryside whizzing by as you’re biking through Europe.
Who’s hosting the challenge this week? I was away from the internet over the weekend so I don’t know what’s going on. I need to get back into the challenge!!!!!

Hey! Thanks for the comments the other day. That is probably one of my fave pics of me and my little guy! And yes, my “so called friend” is pregnant and just wants all of us to look as big as her, lol, j/k.
Your trip sounds SOO awesome! Good luck getting your minutes in. You can do it!!!

wow what a trip! WOW. And what a busy day you had. I had a busy weekend too. I was so determined to make it to the gym on Saturday but 10pm came and I finally gave it up because it made no sense to go do an hour on the treadmill and get home at 11:30pm. I decided to go to sleep instead. The only thing that kept me from getting mad was realizing that I spent alot of time with the family and that it was the weekend, and while diet and exercise is a priority so are they so I have to balance the two as best as I can and sometimes one will be put first and other times the other.

Can you find a picture of the dress? I have a goal dress and I posted a picture of it on my fridge and on every cabinet that has food so when I go to eat something I have to look at that dress. It hasn’t stopped me every time from making a poor choice but it has helped a time or two.
