take me on

It’s dawned on me that I’ve been hovering right around 168 lbs for about a month now.  I’m getting a little frustrated.

c25k w2d2 today. We did it outside and it was windy and I am very tired. I covered 2 miles in 28 minutes though which is much better than I ever anticipated myself being.

Work is insanity right now.  I don’t know what to say other than that.

I miss Sterling.

Tomorrow we are taking James to the city Easter Egg Hunt. I’m excited about it. Watching him pick up even one egg with glee is going to be worth it.  Hoping he won’t be too frightened by the Easter Bunny and we can take a photo.

I cut my hair off.

It’s about an inch shorter than I wanted it to be. Maybe more. Sigh. It’s just hair. It’ll grow.

I’m kind of sad tonight. A good friend of mine is going through a rough patch. I just want to give her a big hug but she doesn’t live here.

  1. I miss her too. Can’t imagine what’s going on with her. Hoping everything is ok and that she’ll return some day. I think you’re hair cut is cute. Your long locks were nice too. Either way works! (Wonder what sterling would say) Can you imagine the amount of stuff she’d have to catch up on?

  2. p.s. sorry about your friend… 🙁

  3. I love your hair cut! It looks fabulous on you! A nice change from your long locks.

I’ve always had long hair myself. Recently got into bangs. I plan to get a short hair cut when I lose a bit more, just to have a nice change. Change is good.

  4. Your hair is cute 🙂 And yup it grows back 🙂 One time this lady gave my sister a TERRIBLE haircut and my sister cried her eyes out- it made her look like an old lady- I was like dude the stylist cut your hair to look like her’s! Thank goodness hair grows out!
