There is a hush all over
The blogs seem quiet. No ones is writing much lately. Maybe it is the weather. Maybe everyone is tired…maybe everyone is like me and nothing much to say.
I am just popping in to say hi and to report I am now down 13 pounds! Woohoo, almost at my 20 mark and I still have over a month to go for surgery. I am feeling better for it as well.
Started orienting a new house supervisor tonight. She will be working PRN while I am out for my surgery. First night and she went home sick after 6 hours…!!! WTF! I hope that is not a sign of things to come, we aready have a part timer who is a fookin hypocondriac (sic) and is sick all the time and we can never count on her so I hope we are not getting another one. That is why we are having to hire in the first place. Cause we can not count on our part timer. We have always made do with four of us and 3 when one is out, but now we have to have 5!!! cause our part timer complained that she cannot possible cover mine shifts while I am out cause I work too much…sheesh Oh well Not my problem
Anyway it is already January 20th. A little over a month to go, all is well. DH started on his little room he is building and I am working as usual. Life is okay, dull but okay.
My son and family will be in Hawaii to visit on March 26th. I hope I am feeling much better by then.
13 pounds, not bad, 7 more to my goal. Then another 10 and another 10……
