Good evening everyone!

I’ve been trying to get back on track for two weeks now. Not doing too bad. Not doing wonderful but I’m back weight lifting and trying to watch my foods. I still seem to be struggling with my water intake which I hope to try and improve over the next two weeks. I’m down 1lb which is something. Still in college in the last couple of weeks and I’ve exams coming up. I’m juggling as best as I can. And I’m happy with how I’ve done so far this month.

I had an awards ceremony on Thursday just gone for college. It was a brilliant night and great to get away with my friends before we finish college. The day was great for foods, because we didn’t have time to pig out on junk food or that because of activities happening during the day. I had a lot of pictures taken that night. Some I feel like I looked alright in, others I just think I look massive. Kind of gave me more motivation to keep on going which is always needed!

Really don’t have much more to say. Very short update with a bit of progress being made in the past two weeks. Until next time…

01/04/2013 - Restarting!

Good afternoon everyone and Happy Easter!

Today marks a new beginning. All of the academic year, I have slacked! I’m not doing nearly half as much as what I was doing during last summer. It is April now, the weather is turning around and the evenings are longer. While I do have exams coming up in the middle of May, I plan of sticking to exercise and healthy eating. I believe I said it before that I feel getting out will help keep me sane during exam time. Lately I have noticed I am back to hating pictures of me on Facebook. I always had this but when I lost weight and I could see it last summer, I didn’t mind pictures of myself on Facebook. I want to go back to that!

My 300th day was on the 28th of March. 300 days since I started losing weight. Where I have got to now? Back in December I was 128lbs. Since December, I’ve gained 12lbs making me back up to 140lbs - almost where I started! Now it’s time to start working on finally getting to my goal hardcore, once again. I had made a plan for March which I just didn’t stick too. This is mostly because I was too busy doing tests and assignments. My exercise goal for April is to clock up 30 miles for my 750 miles challenge in 2013. This is the goal per month from February to May while still in college. So far, I have managed to meet my goal. I also would love to re-introduce weight training. It really did help my weight loss last summer and I think it’s time it makes a comeback. So, with this goal, I would like 20 days of weight training in April which I feel is doable.

I had last week of college and this week off also for Easter. While I would have hoped I do more, I didn’t. I was sick one of the days, and lazy another day. This week, I would like to make a good start to the month! :) For now, walking is good enough for me. Getting out and doing something is better than nothing. In the summer, when I have more time, I plan on joining a local gym. This of course depends on if I can afford it or not. I was up at the gym getting information a week or two ago. Seems like a great gym and I do hope I will be able to join once I’m finished college.

Since I am starting over, I decided to take out the measuring tape and get new measurements and ones which I can follow for my journey this time around. I have also deleted any long term goal challenges I am in and am starting fresh. The new measurements as of today are:

Restarting Measurements: 01/04/2013
Weight: 140lbs
Measurements:
Thigh: 17.125”
Calf: 12.5”
Upper Arm: 9.5“
Wrist: 5.375”
Hips: 36.250”
Stomach: 37.5”
Waist: 30.5”
Bust: 35”
Underbust: 30.25”

Well, since I last measured at 128lbs, I have gained inches apart from my wrist which seems to have gotten smaller. However, I track all measurements on my blog and decided to look back at what my measurements were when I was 140lbs and starting out. I’m surprised by the difference! Even though I weigh the same, my measurements are smaller this time around. I say I’m restarting but I have been exercising and watching food but just not fully dedicated to it. But I completely stopped weight training so I don’t know why my measurements are smaller this time around at 140lbs. Ah, well! I’m not going to wonder and just take it! :P

Going to get ready now for a walk in a while and start getting back on track! :)

03/03/2013

Good morning! :) Another little update from myself.

In February I achieved 22 out of 28 days of exercise – very pleased by that! I clocked up 37.9 miles which again, very pleased about. My goal is 30 miles per month from February to May while I’m in college. This will be my aim for March also. First two days I have 4 miles. So I’m slowly on the way!

College is proving to be time consuming. I’ve a lot of assignments this semester and a lot of study to do. I’m pleased to report I passed all my exams with flying colours for last semester. Now I’m on the last stretch. I want to keep up with my studying but now try work back in my longer walks and weight lifting too. I believe that the exercising and getting away from the books will help me keep on sane.

My aim this month is to try eating a bit better. My eating hasn’t been awful, but I could improve in parts. So that is the goal for March. I decided to try stay away from junk food as much as possible - not that I’m over indulging it in anyway. I got a pack of 15g bags of popcorn to bring with my lunch for college during the week. I’m hoping this will make me stay away from any chocolate and cake. Following on from that it is to start exercising properly, longer walks in the evening and weight lifting as well as my shorter walks I’m currently doing. I was thinking April for this to begin but I’m off from the 22nd of this month for Easter so I might start over Easter and see how I get on. On my break in January I was very successful.

So, I stepped on the scales and was 140lbs… I’m slowly getting back to where I started! It could be the bit of finger food/sweets and alcohol I had last night which added to that but the last week I have felt so down that I keep gaining. I’m struggling so much to actually stay on top of the game. As mentioned above, I’m waiting for the nights to get longer so I can get back out for my longer walks. But I know that won’t be for another couple of weeks. I decided to device a plan for next few weeks until Easter. The plan is as follows:

  • Monday: Home at 8pm: Weight lifting or Planned Rest Day.
  • Tuesday: Home at 8pm: Weight lifting, stepper for 20 minutes in the morning. Or Planned Rest Day
  • Wednesday: Home at 6pm: Walk for 30 minutes.
  • Thursday: Home at 7pm: Weight lifting.
  • Friday: Home at 4:30pm: Walk for 30 minutes.
  • Saturday: Stepper for 20 minutes or walk for 30 minutes, weight lifting.
  • Sunday: Stepper for 20 minutes or walk for 30 minutes.

I’ll come back at the end of March and re-evaluate. By then, the evenings may be longer and I’ll be able to get out more. My issue is because I’m home late most evenings, it is dark when I get home and I don’t like walking in the dark. At the moment, it is getting dark around 6:30pm so it means I could get out for a walk on Wednesdays and Friday evenings. My longest day is a Monday, I’m up from 7am and home at 8pm so I have taken this into account and allowed this to my Planned Rest Day if wanted. I’m not saying I will stick to this perfectly, but I know in my head I want to improve so hopefully that gives me some motivation to get back on track. It is always possible for those lazy days where I just can’t be bothered to do anything. And they probably will happen along the way. My plan for my weight listing is starting on 10 sets for the first week; adding 5 sets to 25, going back to 10 sets and starting again. This seemed to work well for me when I started that way.

I’ve decided to try for March to get back in the game and improve in all areas. This means my next weigh in won’t be until the end of the month on the 28th. The 28th of March also marks Day 300! I’m hoping to see some results. Even to lose a pound or two.

06/02/2013 - Day 250

Just a quick update this evening. Today marks Day 250. A couple of other things worth mentioning:

  • I ended my scale break and weighed in at 137 on 02/02. Not the way I wanted that to go. The week before I went back to college and it was pretty awful. I’ve been trying to be good this week. I am still struggling with water. I worry I might not get back on track fully until the summer months when I have time for proper dedication.
  • I didn’t take any measurements this month but I will the end of this month and see any changes between the start of January and the end of February.
  • In January, I exercised 24 hours. I clocked up 45 miles for my 750 miles in 2013 challenge. I’m pretty proud and happy about that starting point.
  • My return to college has proven to be difficult so far. I’ve a lot of assignments due over the semester but luckily I’m ahead. For example - one which isn’t due until the 18th of this month is pretty much done. I might reread and make slight changes. I’ve also started on notes for classes to keep ahead of myself. This does mean that exercise and such has taken a back seat – which I will admit, it has. I am looking forward to the Spring evenings returning. They have taken a stretch in the last few weeks so I’m hoping it will be brighter earlier in the next few weeks and I can begin walking again. I think it will help with how stressed college is becoming.

30/01/2013

Good evening everyone! This blog was supposed to be updated on the 27th, after my two weeks holidays were over. Better late than never!

I hope you are all week and have all truly settled back in after the festive season. I have taken advantage of having the two weeks off. I have worked out 11/15 days in the two weeks I had off. I’m so happy with myself. I had a 12 day plan I found that I wanted to stick too but I didn’t do it. Instead I did my own plan. I started off with doing 20 minutes on my stepper and adding 5 minutes every second day. As well as my stepper, I have been doing weights. I added on another 5lb weight to the one I lift already. I also added 5 minutes to my weight lifting each week. I was doing 20 minutes the first week and then 25 minutes for the last week. I’ll be on 30 this week (I have yet to lift this week though…) and then move back to 10 minutes and start over again. Overall, I’m so pleased with my progress and actually doing good workouts on my time off.

I started back at college on Monday. I would like to be able to do a 30 minute workout at least. It might be a good thing to do and a way to get away from the books for a while each evening. I don’t have too bad of a timetable and come the Spring when the evenings get longer, I will be able to make time to get back into walking. I’ve two days where I will be home at 8pm so those days I think I’ll stick to just lifting days.

I spend a lot of my two weeks hanging out and relaxing. Just what I needed. I cleaned out my room and wardrobe last week which really needed to be done. I got rid of so many clothes that I just simply don’t wear. There is no point in keeping them. Some other things are too big on me and needed to go also. It felt very good throwing out jumpers which were a UK16 and keeping my newer ones of a UK10 which I got last month! I could have kept them for comfortable jumpers to wear when lounging around the house but they would just be taking up space in my wardrobe. I will admit I got a lot of kicks throwing out a bunch of my clothes that are just too big on me.

Finally, I have gotten through my list of jobs I had to apply too which is a relief! I didn’t think it would take me this long. I had applied to a number before Christmas, then during Christmas and again one of the evenings during exams. (Anything to dodge study, right? :p) Now I have completed the list and it is all just a waiting game. I do have my interview on the 8th which I’m excited and nervous about. I have been doing research on the firm and have looked them up online finding out information about them. I’m still unsure about what I want to do next year, I can study for my professional exams myself full time and work part time or work full time and study part time. I really need to decided on what I want to do.

I have considered revisiting my goal weight, once I get to 112lbs. I know I have another bit to go until I get there. But it is something that is sticking out in the back of my mind. This is where I worry. I wonder will I ever be happy at a certain weight. It will be something I will think about a lot closer to the time. My scale break ends on Friday the 1st and I can’t wait to have a new official weight (and new measurements!) I haven’t done so well this week and I think it might impact the scales. But, I’m going to face them and see where I’m at.

Until then, enjoy your week everyone. :)

13/01/2013

Hello everyone! I do hope you all had a fantastic new year and everything is back to normal now after the holidays.

The last two weeks have been busy for myself. I had exams which I finished yesterday. They went actually overall pretty good. I get my results in the middle of February so I’ve my fingers crossed I do well. I also got a phone call about a job interview for a job after college. It’s also in February and even though it is a couple of weeks away, I can’t help but feel nervous. Jobs I have had before have been through connections and it was more going in to speak to the manager for a couple of minutes – nothing so formal. One thing I am excited for is that I will get to wear my suit again which I enjoyed wearing for my mock interview in college. It was exciting to think this could and hopefully will be my everyday wear when I get a professional job after college. :P

My final measurements of 2012 were:
Current Measurements: 01/01/2013
Weight: 129lbs
Measurements:
Thigh: 16.125” (-0.375)
Calf: 12.250” (+0.250)
Upper Arm: 9.5“
Wrist: 5.5”
Hips: 35.5” (-0.5)
Stomach: 35” (-0.5)
Waist: 29.750” (-0.250)
Bust: 34”
Underbust: 29.5” (-0.375)
Total inches lost since 01/12/2012: 2 inches

Once again, small losses and the gain in my legs (STILL praying it’s muscle…it’s got to be right?!) but at least it is progress and that is what is important. The last two inches brings my total inches lost from May 2012 to 31.95 inches! Not too shabby, right?

I have two weeks now before my final semester in college begins. I can imagine it will be as hectic as the last and weight loss will be pushed aside but still be working on it slowly. I have a couple of things I want to do over the two weeks.

  • One is do workout as much as I can. I’m on a scale break until the end of January so when I step back on, I’d like to see a loss. Even if it is only a pound, I will be happy! I really do want to focus on weight loss during this time I have off.
  • Prepare for my interview. Our lecturers have told us how important it is to research companies who are interviewing us. So I want to look through their website and take some notes. Maybe in the interview I can mention some points I found out and show them I do have an interest in the job.
  • Clean out my room. Last time I did this would have been April last year. While I do have it tidy, I think it is time for another clean out and see what I can get rid of. I was also thinking about changing my room around.
  • Clean out my wardrobe. This would have been done April last year also, before I even joined 3FC. I have many things which are too big for me and will get rid of. I have wanted to do this for a long time. But just finding the time was difficult.
  • Sleep! The most important thing on the list – relaxation. I plan some movie days in bed!

That’s all for now folks! Until next time. : )

31/12/2012

Good afternoon everyone! I hope you all had a lovely Christmas. I had a great time. It was great spending time with my family and seeing those I wouldn’t see a lot during the year. Over Christmas I was successful with my eating! I didn’t over indulge on Christmas Day or the following day which is a celebration here in Ireland too. My family went to my aunt’s house for dinner which we do most years. I ate enough for myself and stopped when I was full. Although, there was a major increase in alcohol over the festive period which I believe could be my reason for my gain of one pound since my last entry! I got a lot of lovely gifts from friends and family. I spend some time with family catching up and had a couple of nights arranged to spend with friends. Overall, it was a very nice Christmas indeed. But we got no snow! It is rare where I live but I would have liked some. Never too old for snowball fights!

My exercise this month has been pretty good! My plan is to do 30 minutes but there are with days where I do more than the 30 minutes. Because it’s December, winter, cold, windy and wet out I have stuck to doing my step aerobics more than walking now. Once the Spring and the long evenings hit again, I’ll get back out walking more often. But for now, with the exercise I am doing, it does seem to be working. I went to the gym early this month on a day membership. I really enjoyed it. Now I have to decide if I can afford to go full time. What is putting me off is that it’s in the next town over and I don’t have the money to get travelling there 4/5 times a week. But it is a really good gym! The town I live in have gyms too, so I might consider joining a local one because I wouldn’t have the travel expense. It really does come down to the money though. What I have been doing has been working well for me so far. So maybe it would just be a waste for myself.

2012 was a journey for me. I started the year at 142lbs and weighed the same by the time I joined 3FC on May 31st this year. Now, I’m ending the year with a loss of 13lbs, a loss of 32 inches and dropping one dress size. I’d say that’s a pretty good achievement! I’ve enjoyed doing this during the past six months and of course I have had my ups and downs. The important thing was while sometimes things weren’t going right for me, I never gave up completely! I jumped back on the wagon and for anyone out there reading this and they have slipped –don’t give up! You can do this, just believe you can.

On Tuesday it is 2013 and it’s time to make those all important goals and resolutions. In the past I would make resolutions about weight loss and never stick to them. Come to think of it, I would never start. Now that I’ve started this journey I feel if I was to make resolutions I would have the motivation to stick to them. I mentioned a couple of weeks ago about the goals I was thinking of for 2013. Now I have finalised them!

My goals for 2013 are:

  • Get to my goal of 112lbs and a UK8 (US4).
  • Final Measurements: 30/25/30 or around there.
  • Clock up 500 miles of exercise – either by walking, jogging, running.

I feel like all my goals are achievable. I’m not sure of what my size and measurements will be at my goal of 112lbs but they would make me happy. And you never know, 112lbs might not be my final goal. I might want to lose some more weight after that. Either way, I want to have a good year of at least achieving those up above.

My exams begin on the 3rd and I feel alright about them. I have been studying over the past two and a half weeks I’ve had off. It’s going to be a stressful week during them but after I have two full weeks off where we have no classes or exams to worry about. Since it will be January, it will be a perfect time to give it my all for my new 2013 goals. Because of exams, I’m thinking it might be the right time to take a scale break for the month of January. My last weigh in is 129lbs, the next time I weigh in will be January 31st 2013. I’m going to keep on plan and keep working out, especially during the two weeks I have off after my exams.

I hope everyone has a lovely New Year and I wish you all the best during 2013! Let’s make it a great year for all of us at 3FC.

18/12/2012 – Day 200, Mini Goal #2 Achieved!

Today marks Day 200 of this new lifestyle! What a week it has been. I had my birthday last week. For it, I went out with my friends at the weekend. I did have a really good night. It was the third time I went out since the end of September. It’s crazy how much college can change your social life so drastically. But I’m happy with only going out every couple of weeks. Over the past year, I could probably count the times I’ve gone out as it has been very little. Not having the money and wanting to focus on college have been my reasons for this. I do think it is good to have a social life – you’ll drive yourself crazy! But I don’t need to go out partying every weekend to do that. I’d gladly like to go for a walk with friends, meet up for lunch or have a DVD night also. These would mean that I wouldn’t be hung over the next day and I would be able to actually get up at a reasonable hour and do some college work. :P

I had a woosh this week and lost 2lbs! I don’t remember the last time I lose 2lbs in a week. Nowadays, it’s usually 2lbs in a month! I am very happy about this. I’m now 128lbs meaning I’ve made it to my Mini Goal #2 – Get into the 120lbs before 2013. It could be down to being sick on Sunday and now I’m getting back into eating but I was still 128 this morning. This means that I am now onto Mini Goal #3 – 127lbs, Normal Weight. I’ve only one pound to go now since I wasn’t expecting to have this woosh of 2lbs. I’m unsure how it will go with Christmas next week and all the dinners and nights out planned with friends. My goal for Christmas is to maintain the 128lbs and get working on loosing after Christmas is over.

I finished classes on Thursday the 13th and on Friday I started a stricter study plan. I began practicing exam questions in preparation for my exams which begin on January 3rd. So far all is going well and I’m getting my study and exercise in. Christmas next week and I’ve a couple of planned rest days over the Christmas period. This is from both exercise and studying. I want to stay on plan over Christmas. It could be difficult but I’ll give it my best shot.

My next entry isn’t until after Christmas so, I would like to take this opportunity to wish all members and staff at 3FC a lovely Christmas. :) Right now, I’m off to get my hair done and treat myself to a lunch out of money I received for my birthday last week. Have a lovely day everyone.

09/12/2012

Another two weeks have past – time is flying! Can you believe we are in December already? I remember in one of my earlier entries I said the same thing about reaching September and now we are nearly at the end of the year! Now 2012 is almost over, the year has gone so quickly.

It’s an exciting couple of weeks ahead. My birthday is this Wednesday. I turn 22. Not as exciting as my birthday last year but I’m going out to celebrate next Saturday the 15th because I’m finish classes on the 14th. So it will be like a double celebration that I actually made it through the semester. Because I’m in my last year of college, my friend and I decided to get cheesy Christmas jumpers and wear them in on the last day! It’s like a case of grabbing all opportunities as they come now that the year is half over practically. Then I reach Day 200 on the 18th and following that, it’s Christmas! Gosh, I love Christmas. I’ve been so excited for weeks. I started listening to Christmas songs back in November!! You would think I was still a child. I have finished my Christmas shopping. They are all wrapped and tagged. I love this time of year. I love nothing more than spending an evening by the fire under a blanket with tea and watching something on the television. (Preferably something to do with Christmas!) My family put our tree up during the week so it finally feels like Christmas. When I’m coming home from college during the week, I love seeing on the lights on in the city and people’s houses. It is just such a magically time of the year.

As far as my plan has gone, I have been doing very well! Another pound gone making me 130lbs. I’m now one away from reaching my second mini goal of 120s by 2013! Food wise, I’ve been up and down lately. Haven’t been making great choices but I’m not binges or overeating. That is a plus. I went out last night and afterwards my friends and I went to McDonalds. I managed to not order. But it could have been because I have a cold I can’t smell a thing. If I could, I probably would have ordered. :P I would love to stay clean until Christmas and then be able to enjoy Christmas peacefully for a few days of not being too concerned if I overeat!

In the month of November I managed 24 days of exercise. Although I use the 90 Day Exercise Challenge for accountability I added up how much time I spend exercising. In total, I clocked up 16 hours and 20 minutes in November! I’m very proud of myself that I’m getting back on the wagon. Last Sunday, my friend had a deal that if she went to lunch, I would go to the gym with her – so I did it. I actually really liked it! And I have now been considering joining come the New Year. I was in so much pain until about Thursday! I could barely walk. My legs were so sore. But I guess I must of done a really good workout to be in the amount of pain I was in. I also took part in a points challenge in November which takes account of exercise, food and water. Out of a total of 120 points, I got 101 points! I am also very proud of that achievement. I am in involved in the same challenge for December. It is great for motivation and to give it your all and stay on plan.  On the 1st of December I did a new set of measurements:

Current Measurements: 01/12
Weight: 131lbs
Measurements:
Thigh: 16.5“
Calf: 12” (+0.125)
Upper Arm: 9.5“ (+0.5)
Wrist: 5.5” (-0.125)
Hips: 36”
Stomach: 35.5”
Waist: 30” (-0.25)
Bust: 34” (-1)
Underbust: 29.825” (-0.125)
Total inches lost since 01/11/2012: 2 inches

Once again, low loss of inches but I’m staying positive! The increase in my calves and arms I’m hoping are muscles, rather than fat!  I guess I let myself down a little in November because my weight lifting was pushed to the side. I’m hoping to get back into from now on. At the start of December, I decided to review the amount of time I was doing my weights. I felt sometimes it was too much and would often put me off. So for the month of December, I started with 10 minutes for the first week on the days I will do weights. And then I will add on 5 minutes each week. I’m starting 15 minutes from today onwards. By the time Christmas week comes around, I’ll be working up to 25 minutes. And of course I don’t have to stick to the 15 minutes this week, if I am up for it, I can do 20! I just don’t want to put pressure on myself and give up completely! I’m now sticking to a plan of at least 30 minutes per day but selected planned rest days during weekdays. My aim is to try and get at least 4 days of exercise in during the week. The first week of December has been successful for this.

In my last entry, I wrote about my Christmas outfit. I bought this top a couple of years ago and after I gained weight, it didn’t exactly fit, especially around the bust area. I had it on me the other day and it fits really well together. I was going to wear a pair of jeans and then my new fabulous shoes which I purchased a couple of weeks ago. I didn’t want to go out and buy a new outfit so I thought I would make the best of what I had, which I have.

I don’t think it’s too early to start planning ahead for my 2013 goals. I got involved mid-year in 2012 so I couldn’t start any challenges which would last the year. In 2013, it will be something I would like to do. Goals I have been thinking about for 2013 include:

  • Get to my goal of 112lbs with measurements of 30/25/30 (if possible).
  • Change up my exercise routine. I would like to add jogging come Spring time.
  • Clock up 500 miles of exercise.

In a couple of weeks, I will finalise my goals for 2013. That’s all for now, folks! Have a good week. :)

I’ve now been in my new plan for a month and a half and I’m happy to say it really is working for me. I don’t feel pressured to exercise each day, even though I am exercising most days. During the summer I could have done anything from an hour to two hours of exercise a day. I think if I was still doing that amount with my current schedule, I would have given up a long time ago! This plan is a lot more manageable for me during this time.

Once again I’ve been thinking about how far I have come. So, basically around this time last year I was my highest weight of around 154lbs. I’m now 131lbs making a loss of 23lbs in a year. It wasn’t until February when I was weighed again and had lost 12lbs from doing nothing. It was then I decided to make this change! And I’m so happy I have. I was never happy with my body, all during my teen years. Now I can look at myself in the mirror and see the changes which have been made and how far I have coming. I’m still young, only 21 (22 in just over two weeks) and I have a life to live. I want it to be a healthy lifestyle rather than someone who is overweight and unable to do things a person should have the opportunity to do in life.

Unfortunately during last week, the weekend and early this week I was sick. At first I thought I was getting the flu as all my muscles and joints were sore like they would be when you have the flu. I still made an effort to get exercise in. That was until last Sunday. My brother had been suffering from a stomach bug and on Sunday night, I had gotten it. I think my muscles pains were the start of the stomach bug and I possibly gave it to my brother rather than him giving it to me. I was up all night, it was awful. On Monday and Tuesday I was in bed all day, both days unable to eat or do any exercise. I was feeling better on Wednesday and started exercising once again getting back on track. I was weighing in at 130lbs on the days I wasn’t well, even saw 129lbs on Wednesday which got me a little too excited! This was due to not eating obviously. Lord, I wish that number stayed! :P I weighed in at 131lbs this morning so only 2lbs away. I’ve decided to set a little mini goal of getting into the 120s before 2013 gets here because of the weighs I was seeing this week! Another bust of motivations also to keep on going. I didn’t really think about how little away those lovely 120s are. I hope I can do it!

It’s nearly December now which means Christmas shopping needs to be done. I started on Friday just gone, getting a couple of gifts. I had made a list of the people and ideas of what to get them so it makes it a little less stressful and without any hassle. That is beside the queues!! I plan on going and getting some more gifts over the next week also and hopefully be done very soon.

I answered a topic a couple of weeks back about a Christmas outfit. I don’t want to go spend a lot of money on something new and nice when it won’t fit me after a while. The size I am now, I’m not comfortable in. I don’t want to be this size for good. I would like to be smaller. I struggle with this because a lot of my jeans are saggy on me now. I have to tighten my belt and can’t afford not to have one on. I have a couple of tops in my wardrobe which would be kind of tight on me now so maybe in a month’s time, they won’t be as tight and I can work with that for my outfit. One thing I will get is a pair of new shoes. I was in a store a couple of weeks ago and I saw three or four pairs I liked! I don’t recommend going into a store when you’ve no money to buy anything that particular day which was the case at the time. This one particular pair was on my mind for weeks! I went and bought them on Friday. A girl can never have too many pairs of shoes! ;) Decided that since I haven’t gone out since probably since September, I would go out last night. I ended up having a great night and the shoes were very comfy! I lasted until the very end of the night in them also. Very surprised as they are 5.5inch heels!

I said in my last entry that my weeks wouldn’t be as crazy and they haven’t. My exams begin on January 3rd and I’ve been doing out a study plan for them. I started it yesterday but I’m still at the stage of reading chapters and making notes with the plan. I don’t like to get into hardcore study until I’m finished the term and I can just do exam questions all day and all night in my own time and the order I want. This is usually due to having our lecturers do some revision with us in the last week or two also. I don’t finish term until December 14th which is three weeks away. (Oh my gosh! Only three weeks left!!) So when that comes around, I will be able to study more. I’m also hoping that once I finish term for Christmas, I will be able to add in a little bit more exercise. I might revise my plan to an hour a day during Christmas and see how it goes. I know my main focus will be my exams right after Christmas but I will see how it goes. My days for revision are usually divided between study times and break times to do other things because we all need a break in between. For some of the time I do take off, I can add in my exercise. It really all depends. I think it’s best to stick to the half an hour weekdays and if I feel like doing more, I will.
