Hi ladies, sounds like you all are doing great. Way to go...... As for me ...Lets just hope I have no weight gain. Holidays with the family is a challenge. At least for my sideI know what we will be having so I know I can do better. No workouts for me in 4 days..,.YIKES. Today I am off to probably get a root canal... Lots of pain the last 2 days. This always happens I go to get a crown and it always turns into a root canal 4 times so far. Like I need to be shelling out that kind of money at this time. My poor hubby will have to work ot. Anyway not much to write. But YOU GO LADIES you are all doing well....

Ladies I just want to say you are all doing so so great without your support I know I would really be struggling worse than i am right now with the holidays i'm staying on plan but gosh the food just looks so good all the cakes and cookies. ugggh with that in mind i know somewhere in this post i had mentioned the two pt fudge well talked to mom today and she dug through her stuff and she found the recipe that i brought home to her 4 years ago. lol wow how time flies anyways here it is ladies 2 pts for fudge this recipe makes 36 pieces and its 2 pt per serving

1 2/3 cup sugar
2/3 cup ff evaporated milk
2tbsp reduced calorie margarine
12 oz semi-sweet chocolate
14 large marshmallows

coat 8x8 pan with cooking spray

stir together sugar, milk, margarine bring to a boil in saucepan reduce heat to medium low stir constantly for 3 minutes

stir in chocolate and marshmallows remove from heat stir till smooth pour into pan refrigerated for 2 hours or until firm

just cut it up and remember it makes 36 pieces in the 8x8 pan for 2 pts per piece

this is so yummy enjoy ladies and happy holidays

yum yum... I love fudge. Thanks for the recipie!!! The challenge of staying OP at a time like this. I went to a gingerbread party last night and I thought there would be some 'legal' foods, turns out there was only raw carrots. I planned for some party food (thank god) but boy....those 700 calories went fast!! A few frito scoops and cheese dip, a couple of crackers with crab and cream cheese and a handful of mm's....AND THAT WAS IT!!! I journaled it all when I got home and thought I was safe, but went over with about 65 calories. oh well....I still had a great time!

I took ds to Burger king for lunch today and really enjoyed their grilled chicken salad. Had to read the lite dressing pak though....almost half calories/fat was from it. 120 calories for salad dressing!!! I used about 1/3 of the pack.

I should have weighed in this morning, but the darn scale kept giving me about 5 different readings all varying from -.5to+3.5 pounds. ITS DAYS ARE NUMBERED!!! So I'm choosing tommorow as my weigh in. Can't see that it makes any sense just to pick a number when it was going CRAZY each time I stepped on it !!!

everyone have a great day today. i'm getting ready to head out for weigh in soon scale at home says 155 which means i'm 5 pounds away from pts dropping again wow i change my pts by my weight at home but, follow my ticker by weight watchers scale the 155 makes me feel great even though i will weigh in heavier at weight watchers darn it.

girls lets drink that water and stay on plan. You are all my inspiration. I'll update after my meeting

Good luck at your weigh in Angie. You are DOING so well!!!! I was looking at your ticker, great job!!!

I am stuck. That darn scale.....GRRRR..... My calories have ranged from 1250 to 1600 with a couple of 1800's and my excercise has been really good. I have never never been able to run on the treadmill and now I'm doing 3 miles. SO THATS SOMETHING!!! The only thing I can say is that I haven't been this weight for a LONG TIME and my body wants to hold on to it!!!

Never mind though.... I feel great, clothes are fitting so much better and I've even discovered new 'old' clothes buried deep in my closet....I've given away to charity, larger clothes but I can feel a sense of frustration wanting that number on the scale to move. I know it will, but still ? Okay, move on......just having my coffee and then heading to the gym. Everyone stay warm and on OP.

angel eyes plateaus are so frustrating but, you are doing great dont get frustrated and like you said clothes are fitting differently which is wonderful sometimes ya notice more of a difference changing in clothes than a changing on the scale your doing great with the workouts that running is making a huge difference for you I can assure you just keep working and that number will fall

well back from weigh in lost 2pounds 2 oz this week. wont be able to find out if I actually made my xmas goal i mean by my scales at home i have but, by weight watchers i havent quite made it was going to post my final christmas goal weight after the meeting on the 27th since i'm weighing in before christmas but, the meetings are all cancelled next week for the holiday so i wont be at a meeting again until the 3rd of january i think that is the day it falls on so bummed i dont have a meeting to keep me in check its amazing what weighin in front of the ladies does for you each week

well i'm off to play with the lil guy and clean house everyone have a great day drink that water stay on plan and workout

angie

Good luck to all who have weigh ins this week!!!

The birthday office demon force fed me cake this morning so I feel buh. Yes, buh. Oh well. It was tiny...

I am really hoping to dip down into the 190's before we leave for Florida! I need to get my arse to the gym. HB is feeling a lot better so I am thinking about going tonight -- maybe around 4:30 or so and just leave after I work out.

That is, if I can get my work done! Off to go do that.
