Good evening! Power walked and ran errands this afternoon. I won’t be going to my meeting tonight. My stomach has been doing flip flops. I decided it was best to stay home and rest. 🎅🏻🧑🎄🎄🤶
I had drama all day! The power company came out to put in smart meters. They had to turn off the power for a few minutes and it messed up our cable box. My DH is technology challenged so we still have an old TV with the big back. They no longer make our cable box. I decided I was going to get a new tv and then use streaming. I did all the measurements but the tv was too big when I got it home. DH is frustrated because he doesn't like change and trying to figure things out again. I also did the shopping for the blessing box at church. Tired and frustrated with everything.

Blessed assurance. Why do some people seem to have it while others don't? It stems from a very slight difference. Some people know God, and some just believe in Him. Knowing is belief beyond doubt. True confidence in the Lord comes to those who have moved beyond their doubts. When we defeat doubt, then we can enter into a whole new relationship with God and a whole new life. God is greater than any problem we have. If we want to lose weight and want God to help us, we need to know beyond a doubt that He will truly help us. Like Job, we need to confess regularly our belief that God can do everything.
Today's thought: If God could create mountains, then He can remove a pound of flesh from me!

So I had to go buy DH a new phone today. Our carrier is Verizon.(only because we don't get service in our house with any other carrier).
Stop one...Best Buy near DH work/shop. They had an inexpensive model that I felt would work but decided to check the actual Verizon store which was just a stones throw away.
Stop two Verizon store near DH work. They had same phone, slightly higher however did not have one in stock. closest location with phone....near my house at local mall
Stop Three Drive to Verizon store at mall near home (30 min drive) walk in store and am greeted and asked what I am looking for, I tell them they say sorry can't help you right now but the phone you want is in the back corner of the store.
So I go to back corner, no one back there to help. I wait. Got back to main open area and am asked if I have been helped, again but this time he takes my name and puts it in his tablet.
Finally person comes over, I repeat for what seems like the 10th time what I what. He checks, it is in stock I said I would take it and then he hits me with that will be the price + $35.00 convenience fee???WTH???
I don't need him to do anything other than sell me the phone I can do the rest. So I repeated back to him....So you are saying I have to pay an extra $35.00 for the convenience of buying a phone here??? he said yes but you can call it a 'what ever he said' but it is still a $35.00 charge.
Well by then I was really getting mad. So I said some not to nice words in his direction, not about him, and said I would go to Best Buy. He then said he did not like my attitude or my language and escorted me out. WOW.
He could not explain what that extra charge was really for and why it was needed. I literately repeated that back to him 2 times to make sure I understood before I let my 'bad language' slip out of my mouth in one sentence only as I was walking. Ok rand done
So I met the buyer who will get the building once the paperwork has been completed. He seems very nice and ready to move in as much as we are ready to move out. He has had an electrition in there, someone to measure for overhead garage doors, and has a concrete guy coming in to buff the concrete floors (they are really slippery from the finishes DH uses...kinda like layers and layers of hairspray on concrete LOL
We are suppose to side this week but I bet it will be the first of next week
Pooch had some blood work and urinalysis testing done. Waiting for results. Was suppose to have ultrasound done too but my husband got too upset about the situation and starting having a panic attack. He loves this dog dearly and is so upset. He doesn’t like the dog being out of his sight, and doesn’t want him to die without us being there with him. So waiting for the preliminary testing results first and then will deal with what we do next.
Eating has been way off, and I know it is due to emotions right now. Will try to not it get too crazy.
Good afternoon! SinaRose, will be praying everything goes well for your fur baby. I was in California three years ago. One of my sister’s two dogs wasn’t doing well when I got there. She was a hysterical. Mary and my brother-in-law gave Rudy the over the counter medicine that their vet said was okay to give him when he had a similar problem. Rudy slowly got better. By the time I left to go home, he was back to his old self.
Good night all! Diana, glad you and your dh have your new tv set up and running. Was going to have a colonoscopy tomorrow. Went for the required COVID test today. Got a phone call about an hour after I got home. Tested positive. Feel fine. 🧑🎄🎄🎅🏻🤶
