157.2 this morning!!! I did intermittent fasting over the weekend and didnt gorge myself. I also meal prepped for the whole week. Considering last monday i was back up to 163 id say thats pretty good for a 1 week progress. Hoping this week takes me to under 155... Then the following week 149...

Oh wow Veloria!! Congrats on breaking into the 140s!! That's such an amazing achievement especially with everything going on in your life! Way to go!!

jessx that's a huge drop in a week! Way to go

I'm hovering right around 153 for the past couple days but I feel like TOM is almost here and that often causes me to retain water. Still chipping away at it day by day Glad to see some of you are still around! I was feeling lonely! Haha

Hi everybody...i am stagnating at this same 151-153 range now for months....im on two weeks of the 30 day Whole30 program and although Im eating healthier i am not losing weight. It is very frustrating. The day I see 149 I will probably cry, because I haven't been below 150 in so so long.

Hello! I'm hoping to start posting here since I don't talk about losing weight with the people in my life. I'm 31, mother of two (ages 6 and 4). I'm at 153 and hoping to reach my goal of 130ish.

My husband is on deployment and I work full time, so my biggest issue is time management... I'm exhausted after work, but I really need to start adding exercise into my routine. Anyway, hello!

That definitely sounds like a busy lifestyle but thankfully we can lose weight even without exercise! It's obviously a very good thing to become more active but don't underestimate the power of a healthy diet I'm sure you'll be well on your way to reaching your goals in no time

OHtheplaces I can tell you from personal experience and a certification in group fitness that your diet is a bigger factor in weight loss than exercise. That isn't to say that you should work out, but don't be so hard on yourself. Eventually you will get all the pieces together like a p uzzle. If you can add 20 minutes a day to start with that will be alot...something easy that you can do before work or after dinner that will not take you away from your little ones....maybe a DVD....just an idea. Hang in there.

Lionesswhispers thanks for the encouragement. I never had such a hard time losing weight before...my age has definitely kicked in! Im so close today I can just taste 149!! hoping to reach that goal by the end of this week!!!!

I am so close today...its making me crazy!!! Its like the scale is laughing at me!! I have to put in a serious few days to make this happen. doing Paleo does not make the weight melt off like atkins. This weight is coming off sloowwwlllyyyy...but i'm happy, i was around 157 in june so this is progress to me. I want to fit into my clothes again so I don't wear sweats and stretch pants like I did all last fall/winter. when i see 149 i think that will be the motivation i need to get to 140. Come hay or high-water I am going to do this!!!

I DID IT!!!!!! 149.8 today!!! Im so happy...but also scared because I know that one day of bad eating can change that and quickly....if you all don't mind i'm going to hang around here for a while longer. Im telling y'all this Whole30 works , it just works slowly.

I haven't been in the 140s since about a year ago......this is a big deal to me...im determined to get to goal and stay there this time.....

I saw 152.8 again today so I'm going to nudge my ticker down another notch mine is coming off slowly too but as long as it comes off!! Haha

I'm jumping in! I have been bouncing in between 151 and 153...as of today I have 1.6 lbs to lose before I get in the 140's. GW is to get in the 120's and to maintain in. I say maintain because that is truly a goal...I have lost all the weight before but gained it back..I am ready to lose it for good..maintain it and better my body!

Thanks Lioness! Woke up this morning at 151.0. Lowest I have been since the 5th. I had a goal of hitting 150.0 by the 10th. I am unsure what screwed it up but something did. Really hoping to see 150.0 this week sometime! 149 would be even better!!

Im 150 again today so maybe I'm not ready to move on to another thread...LOL...on a more serious note my mom had a stroke, so I'm just eating when i get a chance to eat and am in the hospital all the time.....still, i don't want to lose control since my weight is the only thing in my life right now that i have control over.

Zumba: I'm sorry about your mother. I hope she has a quick recovery. As far as being at 150.0..I wish I could get there! I have been bouncing between 151-153 for almost 2 weeks now... I would give anything to be just a tad bit closer to the 140s! Is there a 140 thread?
