At 158.4 again. But good news, tom finally arrived. Cant wait toget rid of this water weight and extra hunger. I have a week left before family reunion/vacation. So got to stick to plan.

Just quick update. Will try to catch up more soon.

pinksunshine - It's definitely been helping me lose weight. I've been calorie counting and getting on the elliptical (6 days a week generally) for at least an hour at a time. It did take my body some time to adjust so obviously I only lost water weight in the beginning. But I'm burning fat now.

Yay! Lost some water weight this morning down to 156.0. I'll take that and hope for more in next few days.

Does anyone else start typing in the wrong weight? I was stuck in the 160's so long that I keep doing 16x instead of 15x. Guess my mind hasn't fully grasp that I'm in the 150's now.

Oh, no! I am never looking back at 16x!!! I can't wait for 14x. It doesn't even boggle my mind to think about it anymore. It's inevitable. I just have to wait and be patient. It will come!

I haven't been under 150 in a few years now, but I'm on my way! Started the month off at 163, now 158.3 this morning. Hoping to keep up this momentum.

Had good day yesterday and got lots of water. I'm down some more to 155.6. Can't wait for tom to go to see if i will drop anymore.

My willpower is holding strong after mybreakdown last week. Bought the kids donuts, i didnt eat one. Was able to resist. It's been a long time since we had donuts in the house. I try not to buy food that temps me but wanted to give the kids a little treat.

I'm still here! I was MIA yesterday because of work - we are heading in to what we call High Holy Day madness, where in the months leading up to Rosh Hashanah it is super crazy here with members trying to pay their dues and get their tickets.

I'm still in the 158 range - TOM is coming, so still got that pesky 2 pounds of water. I have school tonight, and had it last night, so no chance to sweat it off, but tomorrow we'll do a 20 mile bike ride after work. That should help!

Well I'm back for the moment 158.8 this morning

pinksunshine to the decade Just do what you can with exercise, they say as long as we get some movement in during the day it helps

Mad Donnelly on the new car how exciting

hiddenstar sometimes I reverse the numbers and type 10?.? and think wow doesn't that look great though I wouldn't want to be that small and on my phone when I try to hit the 6, I've hit the 3 which I love or hit the 2 for the 5 now that makes me smile really big Great NSV with the doughnuts I want Krispy Kreme so bad but the calories in one keeps me from buying them. The kids ask but instead I'll buy the store brand for them because I don't like them, so no temptation and they'll eat them anyway Any more visits from the little boy? That's got to be really hard on you.

FitFanny on your weight loss so far, to the decade

Thousandsunny, on the new decade, keep up the good work

Syckgirlsfv, where are you??? you always post, hope all is well

Well, I basically fasted today. I've eaten very little in the last 16 hours and I'm not famished or anything. Even now. But now that I'm home, I will probably mack on the little treats I made last night in addition to my regular fare. It's a little lemon bar that uses coconut flour and honey as the sweetener (I am no grains and also low carb. So the honey is not low carb but it's still a better treat than a traditional lemon bar).

It's so easy to take these treats and step into the old behavior and eat several because they're just so good! I do the same with dark chocolate and almond butter. I don't love this about my behavior, BUT I do think it keeps me overall on the straight and narrow and not completely deprived. And as long as it doesn't throw me off the deep end into binging on traditional treats (and this "confessional" helps keep me honest) ... even if it slows down my weight loss .. it's just part of my day-to-day existence going forward.

I got my water in SUPER early today so, really, it's not a bad day. If the heat breaks tonight, I SHOULD run since my swim was cut short today. Once again, I'm saying it to keep myself honest. I miss my regular running but not in this heat.

love2b - I still have 2 pounds of water so nothing really to report!

I am a bit plugged up, too...not sure why but probably because TOM is looming. Maybe the kale in my kale salad is the culprit, not sure. when I eat salads made with Romaine I don't have that problem - I'll have to go back to that and see.

ARGH!!! STILL 158! I should probably not complain that 158 is my heavy, constipated, pre-TOM water holding weight, but I don't like it. I really want the 140's! Next week will be better, because TOM should finally quit lollygagging and show up for crying out loud!

LOL I know I'm acting kind of bratty...

so happy it's Friday!!!

Down a little to 155.2 One week away from family reunion. I'm ok with what i lost so far. Just hope to stay in control and not over eat there.

Mad donnelly - you are brave making those treats. I dont know if i can limit myself with homemade goodies. Those are the hardest.

Syckgirlsfv - go ahead and rant. Tom is never fun.

Love2b150 - he was here all day yesterday with older sibling. It seems like they keep wanting to play here more. Probably too stressful at home
