Hello everyone! I've been waiting a long time to join this group! I'm really excited to be here and I'm not really sure if I want to get out of the 150's, but I do want to be lower in the 150's. I weigh 158 and I'd like to be below 155, although 153 is more in my ideal range...but when I was in high school, I was 145, which might be too thin for me. I'm going to just keep doing what I'm doing and see where it leads me but I must say it's nice to finally start wearing clothes that have been sitting in my closet because they were too small for so long!

158.6 ate on plan yesterday.

Inatizzy - I always wanted try a boot camp. But the times never worked for me. I heard that people get good results from them.

Luckymommy - to the 150's. We are very similar in many ways. Close in height. I was 140 in high school. My original goal was 150. I got down to 154 before vacation messed me up. Even at my low a little over a month ago, I still had lots of fat in tummy and thighs. So I decided to lower my goal. I feel like I must be getting close but not sure if that is in the 150 or 140

157.6. Ate good again. Two days in a row. now just need to survive labor day weekend with family around.

I think I got my determination back. I'm really shooting to reach goal weight by christmas. Whatever that weight might be. My distractions should be limited during next few months - no birthdays or family gatherings.

Thanks hiddenstar! Vacations would normally throw me off track too. You sound super determined, which is awesome. I also still have lots of fat in my tummy and thighs, as I'm a pear shape. I didn't eat that great yesterday, which is typical for me when I'm bloated from PMS. I find that I crave more calories before I get my monthly friend, but I'm determined to do very well today because my weigh in day is on Monday and I'd like to see a loss, although not likely because I just dropped 2 lbs. and I'll still be bloated on Monday.

Thanks again for the welcome!

I'm up 2 water pounds, too had Chinese yesterday, and that always does it. It'll be gone by tomorrow. Church this morning and then the gym, followed by our usual Sunday BBQ. I'm thinking of asking DH if he wants to take the bikes to the beach tomorrow and do a long ride

Hi!

I'm sitting at the low end of the 150's but I'm quite short so it really feels like more. I used to be in quite good shape but problems in my personal life, and a boyfriend with a bottomless stomach really did a number on me haha! I'm quite self-conscious of it as a result, any advice would be welcomed!

157.0 looks like I dropped that water weight.

Whitethistle - Got two pieces of advise. 1. Don't give up - you will have good days and bad days. The more you stick to it the better you get. 2. Learn calories and portion size of your favorite foods. I don't believe that you need to give up favorites. Good luck. You can do it.

Ps. When boyfriend eats something yummy in front of you either do a small taste or just think about how good you will look if you don't eat it. I have to do this with my DH.

Hello all, I would like to join you here. I have been struggling to get out of the 150's for a minute now. I can't seem to get past 153, however, today I'm back on the high end at 156.2. I have vacation coming up in about 7 weeks and I really need to get myself in gear.

Hello and welcome Miss Thistle.
One thing that helped me at the beginning of my dieting was the M&S Fuller Longer meals, they're already calorie counted, and give you a clue of portion sizes etc. They're tasty enough, and can fill the gap until you can work out the calories in your favourite foods.
I've also found that edamame beans fill you up, have loads of micro nutrients and protein, and with a little salt (or garlic and chili if you prefer) are a real treat.

Good Morning! Sorry I have not checked in since the beginning of August ... I'm happy to report that I'm working on it and getting there! Almost out of the 150's and this time for once and for all!!! I'm currently sitting at 151.7... I'm hoping to be out of the 150's by Sunday! At least that's my hope

Have a great day! Keep up the good work!!!

Thanks for the welcome! I guess I'll only weigh one day of the week, I was thinking Saturdays may be best for me. Yesterday I did not have a great day, eating wise. I was really unsatisfied with all my meals and that lead me to over eat a little bit. I order weight loss meal and both of my selections yesterday left a lot to be desired. After trashing my dinner and settling for peanut butter and crackers, I'm sure that put me over my calorie budget for the day.

Nayla - good job for keeping up with it. Hope you see 14* soon. Actually, I hope we all see a 14* soon on the scale.

Shamac - weighing once a week is suppose to be best. I find that I like the daily weighing better for me cuz I can see my mistakes sometimes or when I have high sodium days. Helps keeps me more honest. It's hard sometimes finding a meal that is nutrition and delicious at the same time.

I'm 156.4 again today. Started to get some cravings yesterday and had to fight through it by doing small healthy nibbles and lots of water.
