Alright gang, I am committing to getting to 169.9 by June 1. I weighed in at 177.2 this morning. I am hoping to amp up the weight loss by starting the C25K program. Has anyone else recently started or finished? I don't have an ipod touch or smart phone so it looks like I may need to purchase a stop watch to time myself between intervals. Anyone else starting up an exercise program?

Suds: I started C25K at the beginning of April. I'm currently on week 5 and I love it. I've seen a lot of progress since I started and I can't wait to be able to run a whole 5K!

Angelic: That's great! I am using the program for training for a half marathon in January. From everything I've read on training for a half, you have to get good at running at least 3 miles consistently. I am far off from that point, but am working on it. Right now I can run at least one mile without rest. Looking forward to joining the movement.

Suds - I highly recommend c25k too. I couldn't run at all before and can at least do 2 10-min miles without stopping. Next run should take me to 2.5mi in 25 min. Its a really great program.

Hey Suds! I have the exact same goal! 169.9, HERE I COME! I am 0.8 lb up from Sunday, but I am weighing in under 180 consistently..so i am down!

I also had an excess of butter last night (within calories but still...butter is butter!) lol it was sooo worth it! 177.7 today! I am debating changing my ticker but I promised to only change it on Sundays

NorthernChick13: I only change my ticker on Monday and only count my Monday weigh-in even though I do weigh myself often during the week. I was still 174 this morning.

I just finished Day 1 of 30 Day Shred and OMG! I'm dying! I'm not going to do it 30 days in a row, but I want to do it on days I'm not running. I also want to get back into yoga. I was thinking of doing it before bed, I always sleep well when I do that. We'll see.

Hey, everybody! Looks like you all are doing great! Welcome to the newbies!

I didn't mean to disappear for the last few days. I was burying my head in the sand bc I have been working my way down through the 170's *again*. Ugh! Well, if this is my final journey down (PLEASE!), I will still have gotten through them in fewer trips than I did the 180's. After my crazy off plan day on saturday I went up to 176.6 after having already got to 171.something. So frustrating! And today I'm at 174.4, so not even halfway back to 171 after three days on plan and exercising hard. But I think I usually am fully recovered by about five days. I am pretty sure it's 90% water. Those d*mned carbs!

Wow I can hardly imagine the 160's. I did very briefly dip down into them about 3 years ago. I was installing laminate floors in my house and lost 8 lbs during the process which at the time puts down to 168. And it was just ontime for vacation where I looked great in pictures, but also returned home solidly back to the 170's. After that I just gained and gained slowly up to 190. So for me 160's are going to be a pretty big milestone. And perhaps my last decade? I secretly want to end losing the weight in the 150's. But if I feel good and can maintain the 160's without much trouble I am talking myself into settling there. Even since I can remember I've wanted to lose weight. Even when I weight 155 in my early 20's. I don't want to feel like I always need to lose "5 more pounds". So this journey is it. And when I look and feel "good" cause perfect doesn't exist, I'm stopping. Whew didnt expect to go off on such a tangent .

My goal is 175 by June 1st. I'm excited for you ladies
Reaching for 169. I hope to be doing that for July!

Suds14 and NorthernChick13- I'm another one with a June 1st goal of 169.9. I can't even believe at this point that that is actually a possibility. I only lost 4.5 pounds last month but I'm really going to try for that extra pound to hit the 160s. Insane.

I also want to be in the 160s by June 1st! My goal is actually to lose at least 6 lbs this month. That will bring me to 168.

I was at 173 this morning, so the scale is now inching down slowly. I really want to be in the 160s by May 19, but that does not seem very likely. I'm going to really try to stay on plan and exercise though, so you never know! Carbs are definitely my trigger right now, so I need to stay away from white, processed carbs!

I love how active this thread is getting! We are unstoppable!! I weighed in again this morning and I finally realized why my mid-week weigh ins suck...lol when I am home on Sunday, I will wait one or two hours to pee a few times, getting the lowest weight! If I am in a rush in the workweek, I can't sit around and wait! Haha Only 3 more days till my usual stealthy weigh in!

I have a pile of "almost zipped up" pants as well. I hope they fit in the 160's!

You all are rocking the scales! Nice work! I have been blessed with my monthly gift so the scale was not quite so kind to me this morning. 169 seems so close and yet so far away. I was STARVING last night as I was studying for my grad school exams. I warded off the hunger with gum and water...trying to stay on track. Hope you all are having healthy and happy days!

177.4 today! Drops for 3 days straight. That's exciting.
